Chapter 43
Forty-Three
“You guys talk,” Dani said, waving her hand in the air and walking toward the bar.
Biast sat with some of his buddies, fire bursting from his fingertips as he tried to intimidate a poor Envy.
“I need to relax.”
Eros gazed after her, watching her sit next to Biast and barely looking Biast’s way. Then he turned to me with such want and need in his eyes. We walked away from the girls, who were still struck with shock, and toward the side hallways.
“Raphaela?” he asked, cracking half a smile that didn’t reach his eyes.
I could tell how hurt he was that I had chosen her over him last night, how I’d let them leave like he didn’t mean the entire world to me.
“What’s it like to have her back?”
I shook my head and walked with him down a hall and away from the party, breathing in his cinnamon scent. “You know there was never an us to begin with.”
“In Heaven there was,” he said.
“For a few decades.” My fingers brushed against his, and I pushed away all those thoughts I’d had earlier. All those doubts and fears and heartbreaks. Raphaela and I might’ve been married, but our love was nothing like my love for Eros.
The word felt so foreign on my tongue because I didn’t love. I fucked and did my own thing … but this was different. I felt different with Eros.
“Nothing like us,” I said.
“Us …” Eros spoke so softly, tilting his head in my direction and letting his gaze fall on my lips for only a moment.
“What are we? Because I’m getting mixed signals, Lucifer.
” He swallowed hard. “I thought you actually wanted to try to have something with Dani and me, but the way you looked at Raphaela yesterday made me think otherwise.”
Sadness crossed his face, and he turned away.
I could feel his pain, his heartbreak from how I’d reacted with her.
I wasn’t going to make an excuse for it.
I had been taken aback, totally in love with the idea of Raphaela falling from Heaven for me.
But … I couldn’t deny the feelings I didn’t have for her anymore and the feelings that were always there between me and Eros.
“You’re right,” I said, stepping closer to him.
“I loved seeing her fall, knowing that she was here for me. I let my pride get in the way, and I didn’t think about how you’d feel about it.
” I took another step closer to him until I had him pressed against one of the stone walls, trapped.
“But what I feel for her is nothing. It’s pride. ”
“You are pride,” Eros said to me, staring at me with those alluring green eyes. “That’s what you are deep down, and that’s what you’ll always be.”
I inched closer to him until I was pressing my hardness against his. “You don’t think I could be anything more than prideful? You don’t think I could love and care about someone?”
Eros stared at me, his gaze not faltering once. “If you think you can”—he snatched my chin in his hand and smirked at me—“prove it to me.”
“How would you like me to prove it to you?” I asked, trailing my hand down his abdomen to his hardness and grasping him through his dress pants.
“Like this?” I knelt down in front of him, staring up into his darkening eyes.
My mouth found the front of his pants, and I sucked lightly on his bulge. “Maybe like this?”
Eros didn’t say a word, just brushed a finger against my temple, and thousands of times we had been together fluttered through my mind.
When we used to fuck under Heaven’s apple trees.
When I fell from Heaven and he was there to catch me.
When we used to sneak around and spend all our nights in this castle, in my bedroom, fucking until the morning.
Eros snatched my chin, forcing me out of those thoughts, and pushed his hardness toward me. “Prove to me that you still want that.”
I undid his pants, pulled out his cock, and sucked it into my mouth. Oh, I never backed down from a challenge, especially not one that would make me feel so good. I bobbed my head back and forth on his hardness, watching him relax against the wall.
He hit the back of my throat repeatedly, and I took every single inch of him inside. Throwing his head back, Eros moaned when I rubbed his balls. I pushed a hand between my legs and stroked my cock through my pants.
When I took him all down his throat, Eros wrapped his hands behind my head and forced me to stay where I was. Thrusting further into me, he smirked down, as I’d witnessed him do with Dani many times before.
“Put my balls in your mouth too,” he said.
I opened my mouth a little wider and licked his balls, trying to suck them into my mouth too.
“Fuck, Luci, just like that.”
After a few moments, Eros pulled out of me and yanked me up to my feet, pushing me hard against the wall and undoing my pants from behind me. He spit on my ass, rubbing his fingers against it, then positioned his cock at my entrance and pushed it into me.
When Eros was all the way inside of me, he began pumping in and out of me. First slowly, then harshly—his fingers digging into my hips and pulling me back each time. Pleasure coursed through my entire body. It felt so good—too good.
Eros wrapped one hand around my neck and pulled me toward him, then wrapped his other hand around my hardness, stroking it with every thrust. “You remember what it feels like to be pounded by me?” he asked me, gripping my neck harder.
I groaned. Eros gripped my chin, shifting my head to the side, and placed his hungry lips upon mine. Our tongues tangled as we kissed. He pounded into me harder, sending me closer and closer against the stone wall, and then he groaned and stilled.
His hand tightened around my cock, and I dug my claws into the wall as I came, holding back a moan. My legs trembled, every part of my body feeling good. I rested my head on the stone and took a deep breath.
“You’d better not forget it,” Eros said, pulling out of me. “I’m the only one who can make you feel this good.”
