“insanity”

I’m not insane, a lunatic, or anything else they say about me.

My story is not for the faint of heart, but it serves as a cautionary tale.

They say, ‘keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer’.

The problem is in distinguishing which is which.

I couldn’t, and I paid the price for that dearly.

The truth is confusing to me, even now. When everything you’ve known is a lie, the facts become blurred, and it’s not until it’s over that you can see clearly. That’s when you find out the heroes in your story may be the villains, and the monsters may be the only ones that can save you.
