Chapter 26 Postmortem

Postmortem

Kol

Ispend more time fucking Cadi than letting her actually shower, so Oscar has to come in and remove me from the bathroom.

Her cunt is just so warm and perfect. My cock needs to be buried in her.

I am desperate for her cries of pleasure in my ear, for all time.

I yearn for her tits pressed into my naked chest. But Oscar is right, she needs to shower.

There’s some clothing waiting for me when I get out to the receiving room. I’m the only one naked. Mads stares, unaware, at my cock. I’m so happy he’s back.

Holy shit, Mads is bisexual.

He’s been bi this whole time. I have to admit that was a shock for more than one reason.

See, I saw him staring at me a lot. I saw him check out my body.

More than once. So, in my mind, Mads was a guy who liked women, all women, and maybe me.

Just me. I was the only man he liked. But I also see him look at Locke that same way.

And despite us all being pack mates, it makes me stupidly jealous.

I thought I’d be the only one to hold Mads’s attention.

I reluctantly put on some pants and a shirt.

Mads watches me the whole time. He’s so damned handsome.

I could look at him look at me all day. It’s no wonder I want to work with him.

When we get a house, I’m going to make us a shared office and face our desks towards each other so I can look at him all day. He’s going to be so sick of me.

I want a redo of our threesome with Cadi. And this time, I want everyone to be touching. I want to fuck him while he fucks her. I want to dictate the rhythm. I want to hear both of them moaning from the pleasure I’m giving them…

Oscar hits my back.

“Stop it. Get it together.”

I scowl at him.

“And why must I not be horny right now, oh great pack lead?”

“Because you’re making Locke and Cadi horny, and now they’re fucking in the nest when they are supposed to be getting dressed.”

Really? Maybe I should join them…

Oscar hits me again.

“Ugh, fine. I’ll settle down.”

I turn to Mads, who has a heated look on his face. I raise my eyebrow at him. He shakes his head and finally turns away.

Silly rabbit.

I’m going to suck his dick next time we fool around. I wonder if any of the men he’s been with before me could suck his dick as well as I can…my gag reflex is pretty much non-existent. I’d like Cadi to watch as I suck the life out of…

Oscar starts coming after me again, and I hop away.

“Sorry!”

“Go get the room service. It’s at the door. And tell the security agents they can leave.”

I give him a mock salute and then do as I’m told. There’s a cart full of amazing-smelling food at the door. I tell the two guys posted, thanks for watching over us. The professional bodyguards nod their heads and check with their supervisor if they can leave.

When I come back in, Oscar has cleared the little table and the coffee table. He sets everything out. Mads struts around with his fancy cane, which makes him look like a porn star from the 1970s, and steals a fry from one of the plates.

Cadi and Locke join us shortly after, all fresh and bright-eyed. She’s properly fucked, which bums me out that I didn’t join them. I have to get that girl naked again. Soon. Today. This morning. Now.

She looks at me with pink, blushing cheeks. She knows what I’m thinking about. Mads lifts his mouth in a smile at the two of us as he stabs some eggs with a fork. Now if only he’ll let me suck his cock, real quick, before we go…

Oscar kicks my shin.

I snap my teeth at him, then grin, and he rolls his eyes.

“Oscar,” I cajole. “I remember when it was just the two of us. And now look at us! An omega. A beta. And a soon-to-be house-alpha.”

Oscar ignores me. Cadi snorts. Locke preens. Mads chuckles, then says almost absentmindedly, “This is not how I imagined a heat would go.”

We all turn our attention to him, and he looks surprised that we all heard him.

“What did you imagine?” Oscar asks.

“Oh well, I only said that because we are all so close right now. I feel really connected to everyone. Almost like I can read your minds. All the feelings we feel in the bond don’t feel so confusing and weird.

Like I can tell that you two are teasing each other.

I kind of thought, as the beta, I wouldn’t even be invited into the nest. Maybe just to take care of Cadi.

I thought I was supposed to be running errands, sending out of office emails…

like, as the beta, my job was to make sure you all could spend your time fucking. ”

I’m shaking my head, and I’m about to say something, but then Cadi does instead.

“That’s crazy, Mads. You really thought I wouldn’t want you in my heat?”

He shrugs.

“I don’t have a knot. I’m not designed to have all the stamina…”

“Let’s not go down that road,” Oscar says.

“I’m telling you right now that during Cadi’s heats, I’m in charge of that stuff.

I will guard the door, order food, and bring out water.

I’ll make sure everyone shares nicely. It will be me who ensures everyone is resting properly.

Next time, I’m going to make a chart, because from what I saw, no one here got enough rest. And clearly, we fucked up on the shower schedule.

Anyway, Mads, those aren’t beta things, and it’s not the job of a designation, it’s the responsibility I want. ”

Oscar will always take care of his pack. It’s his destiny. I am not surprised by this at all.

“This is great,” Mads says again, thinking no one is listening. “Sorry, I just really loved being part of the heat like that. It’s nice to know it won’t change.”

Locke laughs and shakes his head.

“Tell us about the girl,” Acadia interrupts. She’s desperate to know I can tell. It’s a curious thing, Cadi was ours first, and now there’s a whole other sun in this solar system.

“We left her there. Oscar, I don’t feel good about it.” Locke pushes his plate away. “We left Legs alone with Maximus. I have no idea if he’s alive or dead…”

“I’ll make some calls. Find out.”

“Aurora, Ro, she’s changed a lot since we last saw her.”

“She helped us get out. We’d be dead without her.”

Locke looks guilty as hell. Mads puts his hand on his knee to reassure him.

“So, she didn’t want to bond you?”

“No. She said she didn’t. She orchestrated an entire campaign against it. Created a game. If I defeat the tiger, I get to leave. And since I have an animalia alpha bark…”

“What?”

“Yeah, I can use my bark on animals. Some animals.”

“But she underestimated her father, or just ran into a wall. Legs ball-gagged me. Mads was hurt. We had to admit defeat. Aurora was scared out of her mind. She tried so hard to get us out of it. Legs put a gun to Mads’s head to get us to do it.

Then, Mads hit him upside the head with this cane Aurora had given him.

It gave us the out we needed to make a run for it.

Aurora wouldn’t come with us. She refused. She said she needed to stay.”

I eat a few grapes and drink some water, listening intently.

“Also, she was a bit possessive of Mads.”

“In what way?”

Mads inches closer to Cadi. He shoots Locke a dirty look before turning back to Cadi.

“She put a collar on me and toted me around by a leash. Which I didn’t exactly mind.”

A jolt of jealousy and desire goes through me, both my own emotions and Cadi’s.

Both our eyes go to his neck. There’s no evidence of a collar, but I have a fantastic imagination. What a great picture–this man in a collar.

“I also kissed her,” he confesses.

Locke says, “She kissed both of us.”

“Two different things, Locke. I kissed her. Once on the lips. It was quick. Then later, after I got the cage unlocked, she kissed both of us.”

“Why?”

Mads wraps his arm around Cadi. She melts into him.

“The first time, I was impressed and…in awe of all she’d done under her father’s control. She had been orchestrating her escape and his downfall, all on her own. I couldn’t believe how brilliant she was. I gave her a quick kiss. She didn’t kiss me back.”

Locke then adds, “She kissed us later because she was being possessive. She thought Mads and I were going to kiss.”

“She grabbed Mads first, and then me. When we asked why, she said she didn’t want to stand there and watch us have our first kiss before we ever kissed her. And then she just walked away.”

We all wait with the tension pulling so tight I think it’s going to snap. Cadi is in the perfect position to launch herself at one of them and beat them to a bloody pulp.

“Oh my god!” She laughs and slaps her hands over her mouth. She doubles over and laughs louder. Oscar has to hold on to her so she doesn’t fall off his lap. “She’s fucking hilarious.”

She. She’s fucking hilarious. Cadi thinks Aurora was being ridiculous. I mean, she was being totally omega crazy.

Cadi wipes tears from the sides of her eyes.

“She’s fucking priceless. How did you keep straight faces?”

Mads finally softens up.

“We were in shock, honestly. And then we were pissed she refused to run away with us.”

Cadi smiles. Locke joins her, as well as Mads. I’m still a bit nervous, but I can feel her sincerity.

“I like her. She’s all omega, isn’t she? Oh my god.”

After we take a minute to process everything, Locke asks, “Are you really not mad?”

“No. Not unless you aren’t telling me everything.”

“No, I think that’s it.”

“Can you feel her now?” Her question throws us all off. Locke clicks his teeth shut. He gives her a moment to maybe take the question back, but she doesn’t. Cadi doesn’t want him to pretend he isn’t bound to another omega. She is curious.

He closes his eyes and feels their bond. With his eyes still closed, he says, “Yeah. She is far away. I felt her not too long ago. She’s…upset. She’s angry.”

He opens his eyes.

“Where is she?”

“I’ll find out.”

She doesn’t ask anymore questions, and she finishes her food. It’s a lot to take in. Another omega is bonded to this pack. She’s in a whole other city, with her own life. Two omegas. One pack. Unheard of.
