12. Noah #3
But I don’t let her finish. I don’t give her time to think or doubt.
I don’t give her fears time to take over.
I take the final step, grip her face between my palms, and crash my mouth to hers.
She stiffens in my hold, her body going rigid as she tries to push me away with her hands against my chest.
But I don’t let her; I stay rooted in place and continue to kiss her. Whatever her fears are, they’re the ones pushing at me. Because her lips, they’re kissing me back, and that’s all her. She just needs to move past them, push through whatever is scaring her.
So, I continue my assault on her mouth until I feel the snap happen.
The energy shifts in the room, and suddenly her hands pull me closer instead of pushing me away.
Our kiss turns frantic as our tongues dance together, teeth scraping one another.
Her hands move up to my hair, arms folding around my neck.
I grab onto her thighs and wrap them around my waist, pressing her body into the mirror as we consume each other.
She whimpers when I push my hard length against her warm center.
I can feel her wetness slowly piercing through my workout shorts and it drives me fucking wild.
I move my lips to her jaw, her ear, her neck, biting down as she moans repeatedly.
“Gabe…” she cries out when I thrust harder into her. Over and over until she’s grinding herself down on me as well, chasing her own release. “Oh God, Gabe.”
“Fuck, Vixen.” I fucking need this woman.
I feel precum leaking out of my cock as I continue to rock against her. I slide my hands higher up her smooth thighs until I reach her ass, giving it a firm squeeze before digging a little further until I feel her drenched panties.
I go to push them aside, an urgent need to be inside of her taking over. But one of her arms leaves my neck, and she quickly grabs onto the one about to touch her perfect pussy. “Gabriel, wait!”
I pull away from her neck and look at her. Her pupils are fully dilated, and the tiny portion of her irises left has turned to a deep, blazing blue. We’re both panting as we watch each other.
Finally, she shakes her head. “No.”
And suddenly everything clicks. What we’re doing. What I’m doing to her. I’ve pushed her too far. Fuck! She was finally opening up to me, finally accepting me. And now I’ve taken it too far. I got greedy and ruined everything.
I let go of her, putting her back on the ground, and take a step back, passing my hands through my hair as I pace back and forth. “Fuck, Ronnie. I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have done that. I didn’t mean to force you into anything.”
“It’s okay,” she says quietly, but my mind is spiraling.
“No, it’s not okay. You didn’t want it. You were pushing against me, but I wouldn’t let go. I should have stopped.”
“I said it’s okay, Gabe.” She tries to reach for me, but I step aside, still frustrated with myself.
“But it’s not! Don’t you see that? You’ve always had boundaries with me, and I forced you to ignore them.
That’s not right.” I stop pacing and stand before her, freaking out internally.
She’s going to retreat into herself. She won’t want me anymore.
“Please don’t hate me. I’d never hurt you.
You know that, right?” My own fears begin to creep in.
What if I’m just like him? What if I am capable of hurting someone? I basically forced myself on her; isn’t that the same thing? I gasp for air as panic sets in. I feel like I’m suffocating.
She steps into me, her hands framing my face as she presses her lips to mine.
Her body leans into me as she moans softly when I kiss her back.
This kiss is different; it’s tender compared to the heated one from a minute ago.
And instantly, my panic subsides, turning to a simmer until all I feel is her.
She pulls away slightly, her forehead resting against mine.
“I know you’d never hurt me, Gabriel. I don’t hate you, and you didn’t force me to do anything I didn’t want.
” One of her hands falls to my chest as she lifts her head to look into my eyes.
“Do you hear me? I wanted it. I wanted you to kiss me. I wanted you.”
I nod.
She leans back in for a second, pecking my lips again. “But I’m still confused with everything that’s going on between us. Not just me and you, but Noah too. And I’m just not ready to take things further yet.”
“Okay, I can respect that.” I wrap my arms around her waist and sigh. “I should go shower if we want to make it to Coney Island.”
She puts her arms around my neck and kisses me again. “Okay.” I’m not sure if she’s just trying to prove that she wants me or if she really can’t get enough of kissing me. But whichever it is, I’m good with it.
I smile against her lips, kissing her back once more, then pull away. As I turn to head out of the gym, I spot Noah leaning against the door, watching us. Joy spreads inside me once I realize that he witnessed our moment.
But when Ronnie finally sees him, she freezes slightly and looks uncertain about how to proceed. The look of guilt on her face tells me all I need to know. She didn’t kiss me first. She kissed him.
Now I can’t help but wonder if she only kissed me out of pity.
