Chapter Ten
Eddie didn’t listen to her complain that she could walk. The woman stalked out of the bathroom carrying her as if she were afraid she’d disappear. She wrapped her arm around Eddie’s neck and held on. Hearing Eddie say that she was her mate sent a warm feeling through her.
Maybe it was being trapped in the cabin with Eddie for the past couple of days, but she had already known she’d developed feelings for the bear shifter. There was not going to be another for her.
The living room was once again warm. Eddie gently sat her down on the couch while she took the blankets and arranged them in their sleeping palette.
Once she was satisfied the bedding was to her standards, Eddie motioned for her.
Liana stood and unwrapped the towel from around her body.
She allowed it to fall to the floor. Eddie’s amber gaze locked in on her as she walked toward her.
Liana stopped in front of her. Eddie turned and sat on the floor.
“This needs to go,” Liana murmured.

“Good,” Liana replied.
She brought Eddie’s face down to hers and captured her lips with hers. Their kiss deepened. Their legs became entangled with each other as they continued. Liana sighed and opened her legs so Eddie could settle between them.
The storm may be raging outside, but she was safe with the woman who had just put her claim on her. There was nowhere else she’d rather be than in Eddie’s arms.
