EPILOGUE

LOUISE

I t’s been six months since I married Theo Dubois in the wedding of the century. Eve stood at my side, and Spencer was in the audience.

I know what you’re thinking…and no , I am not looking to marry off my husband this time.

We’re incredibly happy, and I can’t imagine us being anything different.

Now, I bet you’re wondering what happened to Eve and Spencer. Their story was a little different than mine, and they had quite the dramatic ending with the beach apology and subsequent proposal.

But you know how those things usually go, right?

I mean, the end of every sweet romance movie was exactly this. Did you ever wonder what happened once the couple actually got married? After all, in most of those movies, they’d only spent a weekend together and suddenly they were declaring their love and getting married.

Well, just as you’d expect, Eve and Spencer’s relationship didn’t withstand the test of time.

KIDDING!

Gotcha, sugar!

Oh, I can just imagine the look on your face! But don’t worry, they’re doing just fine.

They got married shortly after I did in a much less theatrical ceremony, but it was still all class thanks to my perfect planning. Eve wore a breathtaking vintage lace gown that Spencer said reminded him of the first antique shop they visited together. And the way they looked at each other during their vows–well, it was like no one else existed.

They’ve since adopted a puppy, a sprightly little beagle they named Pixel, who’s now the star of many gatherings at our home.

They’re blissfully happy, and they come to all of my parties despite their complaints about engaging in social settings.

When we double date, sometimes I watch them together, and I’m pleased as punch that I had a hand in helping them find their happiness.

Even when they weren’t certain, I just knew those two were meant to be. I’m so glad I pushed them together and played their Cupid.

As I sit back and reflect on our journey, I can't help but marvel at how much I've grown. From planning my own wedding to helping two of my best friends find their way to each other, it's been a journey of love, laughter, and learning.

Each challenge and triumph has taught me more about myself than I ever knew before, and marrying Theo has only deepened my appreciation for life's unpredictable beauty.

So much so, in fact, that I’m wondering if I should open a matchmaking agency. I could call it Louise’s Love Connection. I bet it’d be a hit. I could channel my knack for matchmaking into helping others find their soulmates.

I’m under no illusion it’ll be easy, but who knows? Maybe there will be another story in there waiting to be told.
