Chapter 12 Perry

PERRY

The rest of the day takes forever. I can’t wait to see the look on Buckle’s face when he sees what I have in store for him and Abel.

I’m hoping Abel embraces my entire life.

He may have grown up in a place that repressed pleasure, but I plan to help him learn there’s nothing wrong with wanting it.

I’m sure Buckle will have no objection to being my co-teacher.

He licks his lips as his eyes drag down my body. “Damn, you look good enough to eat.”

I pose a few times, letting him take everything in. “I’m glad you like what you see, Alpha.”

Buckle growls. “I love when you call me that.”

“Alpha.”

“Mmmmm.” He pulls me into his arms. “Can I?”

“Yeah.” I’m breathless when he presses his lips to mine. My cock hardens as Buckle ruts against me.

“Mmmmm, Alpha, we have someplace to be.”

He pulls away and scents my throat. “I know. I hate that Abel is right. I just want to fuck.”

“I know. And we will, but I don’t think I’m ready either. He’s got a good idea to get to know us first. We’re just acting on instinct. On lust. Expectations.”

I press a finger to his lips when he starts to say something.

“And there’s nothing wrong with it. But I wonder if Abel being wary of Fate is the right way to go. Hawk Ridge is all kinds of messed up, but...”

I take a deep breath. “There’s a reason I left home. Opossum Nook wasn’t much better than Hawk Ridge in some ways. I grew up repressed, but I went the complete opposite of Abel. I embrace what was shunned. I teach pleasure.”

I walk my fingers up Buckle’s chest and he shivers. “I allow myself to pleasure and be pleasured. I don’t shy away from things that scare me.” I hug Buckle close. “And I think we’ll be good for Abel, but we need to go slow with him. I think he’ll be worth the wait if we don’t scare him away.”

Buckle threads his fingers through my hair, and I lean into him. “Let’s go get our Beta.”

“He might hate me tonight, but I won’t make him do anything he doesn’t want to.”

“I’m intrigued. You’re not worried about me, though?”

“No.” I snort. “You’ll love it and have a blast. I just know it.”

“I’m a little worried about this dress code, though.”

“Don’t be.” I grab my keys and follow him out. “Abel doesn’t live too far. Shouldn’t take us long to get there.”

Buckle opens my door for me and helps me into the truck. He starts to buckle me in, but I give him a look.

“Sorry.”

We kiss before he shuts me in and hops into the driver side. He’s got good taste in music and we sing along as he drives.

Abel’s already outside waiting for us. My stomach does a little flip.

He’s adorable in a pair of khakis and a dress shirt while he shifts from side to side.

A grin splits his face, and he waves when he spots us.

I open my door, then slide to the middle seat.

Abel launches himself next to me before Buckle can even undo his seat belt.

“I ate a little bit. I hope that’s okay.”

“That’s perfect.” I take his hand after he clips in the seat belt. “Onward, Alpha.” That makes them both chuckle.

“I kinda need to know where first.”

“Ah, true.” I plug in the address to my shop in his phone, glad it doesn’t pop up with the name. Buckle follows the directions.

“Wait!” Buckle says when he pulls into the parking lot.

Abel’s eyes go so big, but he’s not panicking.

“You work here?” Buckle says.

“I own it. Pleasures is all mine.” I’m quite proud of it too.

It’s been up and running for five years.

It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to get here, but it’s all mine.

“And tonight is a beginner’s pole class I teach.

Thought it’d be a fun way to bond. Well, kind of bond. I do have other students.”

Surprising me, Abel nods. “I always thought pole dancing sounded fun, but I’ve always been too afraid to try it.” His cheeks go pink like they do so often.

I squeeze his hand. “This is a beginner class with just the basics. Only an hour. And I think you’ll enjoy the other students. It’s a group of older Betas that call themselves the Beta Bitches.”

Abel snorts. “Oh, I know who they are. They’re always fun.”

I let out a breath. “We should go get you two dressed appropriately. Don’t worry, everything is new and I have a changing room.”

It doesn’t take long to get them inside and picking out something to wear. Abel grabs a pair of grippy leggings and a crop top. “Do I look okay?” He pulls at the shirt and squirms.

“Sweetness, you look amazing.”

“I believe you this time.”

Buckle comes out of the changing room in a pair of slutty shorts I want to rip off him. He’s in a mesh crop top and struts as if he owns the place.

“What about me?”

Abel swallows and nods, apparently speechless.

“Oh, Alpha, you look delectable,” I purr.

Another nod from Abel as he hides his growing erection.

“Class starts in about ten minutes, but browse all you want.”

A gaggle of laughs fill the shop when the Beta Bitches arrive.

“Ladies!” I greet them.

“I’m looking forward to class tonight,” Bette says as her eyes home in on Buckle. “Do we have fresh meat tonight?”

Abel waves. “Yep.” He wraps an arm around his stomach. So far, we’re still doing good and he’s not panicking.

“Abel? What a pleasure to see you outside of the library. Are you signed up for the Valentine’s Day festival? Are you going to the dance?” Bette narrows her eyes on my Beta.

He nods. “I’m helping Aaron with the setup and I have my own booth. I planned on helping decorate the hall for the dance.”

“Good. Good. I’m glad you’re getting out more.” Bette glances to me and Buckle, then back to Abel. “What’s going on?”

Abel nibbles his bottom lip and scoots closer to me.

“I found my Fated,” I say. “Two of them.”

Bette squeals and claps her hands. “Bitches! He’s finally found his Mates!”

The three other of the Beta pack rush over.

“Oh my, the sweet librarian!” Lisa says.

“Library clerk,” Abel supplies.

“And the hunky mechanic,” Elsbeth leans in.

Carol simply nods. “Did good kid.”

“Had nothing to do with me,” I say.

“You sure?” Carol says as she peruses the boas on the wall. “Fate has a funny way of partnering people with exactly who they need in their life.”

“I think that might be true for us,” Abel says surprising the absolute glitter out of me.

Bette takes his hand. “Perry is the very best at making people feel like they’re amazing dancers. Even when we know he’s a liar, we love him anyway.”

I snort. “You don’t give yourselves enough credit. You’re improving every week.”

“We’ll just take your word on it. I’m ready to get my freak on,” Bette says. She leads her friends to the classroom and I stop Buckle and Abel from following.

“Ready?” I ask.

Abel nods, there’s a look of determination in his face. “I’m not going to panic. At least that’s what I’m going to tell myself.”

I drop my hands to his shoulders. “Do you know what safe words are and how to use them?”

“Not really.”

Buckle comes up behind Abel, and his hands join mine on Abel’s shoulders.

“They’re to help you maintain your mental health.

Having a safe word is like asking for a time out.

” I meet Buckle’s eyes and he nods. “If you need space, you can safe word. I usually use stoplight colors. Green for good to go, yellow for slow down. We can stop and talk things through and either go again or stop altogether. Then red is stop immediately. But we don’t have to use them. ”

“They’re easy to remember,” Abel says.

“They are. How about we implement them? Tonight in class and whenever you need them. Do you think that will help?”

Abel nods. “I think so.”

“Good. Now. Let’s go dance with the Beta Bitches.”

“I’m glad it’s them,” Abel says. “They’re always fun when they come to the library for one of their weekly card games or whatever it is they do.”

I’m glad he’s comfortable enough to say it.

I smack Buckle’s ass when he sashays in front of us.

Abel giggles and I’m mesmerized by the way Buckle’s ass jiggles in the shorts.

They fit him and I don’t doubt my costumes to stay in place, but I don’t think I’m going to be the only one that hopes for a bit of a show.
