Chapter 1 #2

"Better not." Richie gave him a look that said he meant business.

Dragon kissed him, his tongue making the promise his words couldn't.

"You're mine," he said once they broke their lip-lock.

"Forever yours," Richie smiled.

Ajay settled back into his seat and put his pants back on while TT tucked himself away. They kissed again before Ajay turned around to address them. "Are you two good now?"

Dragon sighed and pulled out. He tucked his cock back into his pants as Richie began to get dressed. "Yeah, we're good."

"I'm going to need one hell of a cleansing, but I'm good," Richie said as he zipped up.

Ajay laughed. "Me too."

"I saved that load for you for a whole week, baby," TT admitted.

"And you lasted pretty long." Ajay quipped and tossed Dragon a cheeky look through the rearview mirror.

"You know what," Dragon said as he pointed at Ajay and then TT. "Fuck the both of you. I mean it. Fuck. You," Dragon said because he saw what they were doing. "I'll beat your ass if you keep teasing me."

Richie laughed. "Be nice, both of you," he said, pointing to TT, then to Ajay just like Dragon had.

The men laughed and nodded. "Let's go home," TT said.

"I hope there's some good food waiting," Dragon said.

"This is your family we're talking about. The club. It's going to be a party. Yeah, we're on high alert and shit. But everyone is too excited to see you all again for there not to be a celebration," Ajay said.

"We took extra precautions. The Castiellos actually loaned us a few of their men for security. Also, people had to RSVP. If they aren't there by eight PM tonight, the gate closes and no one else is getting in," Richie added.

"Oh, that's smart. Good," Dragon said, because that was another thing he'd been excited about. The welcome home party. He was supposed to have left with Dopey, but now was better than never.

"How are things at the club going?" TT asked.

Ajay gave him the updates.

"So, the Castiello family finally called in that favor the Bridgers owed them," Dragon commented.

"Yeah, word is they're sending Nathan Bridger and his two sons to help Vito," Richie said.

"Shit, how old are his sons?" TT asked.

"Eleven or twelve, I think," Ajay said.

"That young?" Richie asked in surprise.

Ajay nodded. "Yeah, I was shocked too. I mean, kids that age should be playing video games and with their toys."

Dragon snorted. "Who says they don't? They probably play like regular kids do, but when it's time to handle business, they throw down."

TT chuckled. "Only you would see it that way. You knew your whole life you'd be the club's enforcer."

Dragon shrugged. "It's not like it's anything I aspired to be when I was six or seven.

But by the time I entered my teens, I already knew where I would fit in.

The club knows how to use everyone's strengths to its benefit.

The Bridger Family knows what it's doing.

I mean, they were under our radar too before they had that run-in with Ze back then.

That's the only reason we found out about them through Colton. "

"You said 'run-in' like they bumped into each other on the street. Colton had been contracted to kill Ze," TT said. They had heard about that incident some years ago when it went down as news—well, big news—that spread quickly between chapters, as it was important to keep everyone on alert.

Dragon laughed. "I'm used to speaking in code."

"Fair enough," TT said with a short nod.

"What do you think about them?" Dragon asked Ajay since he was a former DEA agent. He wrapped his arm around his man and pulled Richie closer while waiting for a response.

Ajay sighed. "To be honest, we don't know anything about them. The only reason I'm aware of what they do now is because I'm a Lord. The DEA looked into them because Colton Bridger married Zaire Esai, who we're aware is an enforcer for the Chicago chapter of the Lords."

"You said 'we're' again," Richie teased.

"Ah shit... yeah. Sorry," Ajay said.

"What's that about?" Dragon asked, looking between Ajay and Richie.

"It's an old habit of mine to say 'we' when talking about the DEA. A bad habit I'm trying to break. I never want anyone to think that I'm still working for them. I turned in my badge, gun, and turned my back on my co-workers who can't understand why I walked away," Ajay said.

"What about your fucking bitch-ass husband?" TT asked as his boyfriend's estranged husband was cause for concern.

"Still has refused to sign my divorce papers," Ajay said.

"Don't worry, baby. He will. I'll deal with him—"

"No, don't. At least not yet. They're watching us closely, mainly because of what's going on between the Lords, Castiellos, and the Jade Dragon Triad.

But there is also a personal interest in why I joined the Lords.

As far as the DEA is concerned, I went from being a highly decorated officer who was on my way to a promotion and who upheld the law to a criminal who breaks the law overnight," Ajay said.

"Lot of accolades you gave yourself there," Dragon teased.

Ajay smirked. "Just being honest."

Dragon smiled and kissed Richie's cheek.

TT growled but nodded. "Fine."

"I can deal with your husband," Dragon offered.

"If and when we need to deal with him, we will. Once he realizes that I'm never giving TT up, he'll get pressure from the DEA and his family to sign the papers. Not to mention pressure from my lawyer," Ajay said.

"Alright," Dragon said. "I do know the Bridgers have major pull, and that might be the reason the DEA knew nothing about them. The Castiellos couldn't get us out on their own. It wasn't until they cashed in their favor with them that we got set free."

"That's true. Even when the DEA looked into them after Colton joined, we don't have anything.

Colton, on paper, is just a member who rides and parties with them.

But we know the truth. On paper, the Bridgers are rich and powerful as fuck and have fingers in everyone's pies, including royalty internationally," Ajay said.

"You said 'we' again," Richie reminded him. "Do you mean that as 'we' the DEA or 'we' the Lords?"

Ajay sighed and hissed as he was still working on it. "Both, because that's what the DEA knows, but the Lords know the truth."

Richie squinted his eyes at Ajay playfully and nodded. "Ooookay."

"Oh for fuck's sake, Richie. I'm never going back to the DEA," Ajay said.

Richie winked. "I know... I just like having a prospect I can tease."

"You're a prospect too," Ajay pointed out.

"But I won't be soon. I'll be a full-fledged member," Richie boasted. "You had to start over."

"Oh, fuck you, Richie," Ajay flipped him off too, and all four of them laughed.

"Jesus, damn... okay," Dragon said with a sigh. "I guess Ze hit the jackpot when he met Colton."

"Do you ever meet up?" Richie asked. "How much do you know about Ze?"

"We meet up at least once a year. That's our plan. A chance to ride out with all our brothers and sisters and have a retreat like a family reunion. We get to meet new members of the chapters and catch up with each other," Dragon said.

"At least those who can make it," TT said.

Dragon nodded. "Yeah, TT and I have missed five of them, but I'm looking forward to the next one this year."

"That's if we can resolve this bullshit war with the fucking Triad," TT said.

"It's rough," Ajay said. "Right now, Maverick is in New York, and from what I know, they are tearing into the remaining Five Families. Hell, the first day Maverick landed, they took out the Torelli family. Maverick said that their hit squad was top-notch and plenty brutal."

"Isn't Akari there too?" TT asked.

Ajay steered the car onto the turnpike and accelerated. He nodded. "Rico got shot, so he called Maverick to come through. But Maverick is the only one from our chapter. Las Vegas sent some brothers and one sister to help."

"Who did they send?" Dragon asked.

"Your dad knows. Richie and I are still prospects, so as you know, we aren't privy to everything," Ajay said.

"Fair enough," Dragon said. He wasn't going to worry about getting all of the details yet.

He knew his father would tell him what he needed to know when it was time.

He looked at Richie and remembered the video his sister played for him when she visited of Richie being high off his own supply at the last party.

He kissed his man's neck then ear. "You want to tell me why you took that drug and tripped out at that party? "

Richie groaned and covered his face. "Uhhhhh, I will never live that day down."

Dragon laughed, the sound of his sexy voice tempted Richie to go another round.

"Ah man, I heard about it but didn't see the pictures," TT said.

"Don't worry, they'll show you," Richie said with a smile.

Dragon claimed Richie's lips practically eating him alive before he released him, leaving his man breathless. "I can't wait to see it."

"So, I had already run tests on it... human tests in secret with Monty's help," Richie said as he fanned himself.

"Monty, your best friend who is now married to the triad's boss's son?" Dragon asked.

Richie nodded. "He was forced into that marriage, but from what he's told me, it's working out."

"How is the relationship between you two? I mean, if he's warming up to his husband, and our families are at war, where does that leave you guys?" TT asked.

"Ours is a relationship built on trust. I think the Triad knows that because they haven't involved Monty in any of their dealings with the Lords or Castiellos," Richie said.

"Yet," Dragon added.

"I hope not. Please don't ask me to kill my friend," Richie said and the tone in his voice let Dragon know that Monty meant a lot to him.

"I would never. But would he attack us? We'd only allow him so much grace, baby," Dragon said.

"He'd rather die than hurt me," Richie said.

Dragon licked his lips and nodded. "Okay, we'll just cross that bridge if we ever get to it. Getting back to your drug."
