Chapter 20

Emery

Logically, I knew nothing was going to change.

Demi had lived with Luke for almost six years now, and really, even though they had tied the knot, things were going to be exactly the same as they had been since the day she first moved out.

So I had no idea why I was hung up on the fact that my twin sister, my OG, my ride or die, was now married.

“Baby,” Ville’s voice floated to me, a rasp that made me shiver. Or that could have been his hands on my ass. “Stop thinking. Just feel.”

I arched deeper, wanting that more than anything. “Make me.”

Ville’s growl was part playful, part want and I had barely a second before his mouth was on my hole.

He wasn’t gentle, but he knew that’s not what I needed.

Instantly I got lost in the sensations, the feel of his tongue swiping over sensitive skin making me shiver.

Then he got his teeth involved, nipping along the edge of my hole.

It made me whine and lit my blood. My legs started to shake and my arms gave out.

Ville squeezed my ass cheeks, spreading me wider, so he could spear his tongue inside.

I loved how hungry he was for me. Usually, I was perfectly happy to whine and moan, letting him eat for as long as he wanted. He was good at it, knowing exactly how I liked it, and he was outstanding at turning me into a shivering, horny mess. Ville clearly enjoyed the fuck out of it too.

But right now, maybe because of my mindset or just how voracious he was being, I went from zero to sixty way faster than normal. I started begging, pleading, and Ville ignored me, his grip so firm I was certain he was leaving bruises behind.

“Ville!” I shouted, my voice high and shaking. “In me!”

He growled, the vibrations shooting through me, and I moaned, long and low. His chuckle was wicked and that did nothing to cool me down. I tried to move, but he held me too tightly, and then he smacked my ass. I gasped, then groaned.

“Please. Sugar. Need you inside.”

“Busy,” he grumbled and speared me with his tongue. I could feel the wet, feel my hole giving for him. And I loved every second of it, just like always, but I needed more.

“Ville. Ville, please. Need you inside me. Need your cock.” I had to gulp some air and bite back another whine. “Need you to make me whole.”

That did it. He moved quickly, pushing me down flat on the mattress, his knees between mine and spreading my legs. He pinned one hand against my shoulders, keeping me there, the other slathering his cock if the snap of the lube top and the slick sounds were any indication.

He pressed his tip against my hole. “Gonna go slow. Don’t want to hurt you.”

“N-no. Just do it. Want to feel it. Want to feel all—ahh!” He took me at my word, as he always did, and pushed in.

Slowly, yes, but never stopping, the position making him work for it.

I panted, desperate for air, and I couldn’t help the way I shivered and shook.

But Ville knew me, knew what I could take, and he gave it to me just like I wanted.

When he was fully inside, I was so stretched, and it hurt, but it felt so good too.

Ville laid down on top of me, trapping me completely, and giving me all his weight.

It was hard to breathe, but I didn’t care.

That’s what I needed. I needed him to possess me so entirely that I no longer existed as just me. I needed to be part of him.

Ville adjusted his position, just enough, and started pounding into me.

I let it happen, passive in his hold, my breath escaping in tiny grunts each time he slammed in.

Everything about this worked for me, and far too quickly, I was on the edge.

Ville knew it too, and kept going exactly as he was, the rhythm and pace never changing.

I hit the peak, but couldn’t fall over. Then Ville sucked on my neck, and bit down, and I screamed long and loud as I came.

My vision dimmed, and I must have blacked out for a moment or two, because when I became aware again, Ville had moved, slamming into me. My legs were shaking and sweat beaded every part of me. And then he moaned, shoved in hard, and filled me, fingers grasping tight on my hips as he let go too.

I was going to have so many marks tomorrow and I couldn’t be happier about it.

Ville collapsed on top of me, panting hard in my ear, then tilted his head so he could kiss my neck. I hummed happily, unable to move. With a small, smug sounding chuckle, Ville wrapped his arms around me and turned us so we were on our side.

“I’ll clean us up in a sec,” he murmured, voice a little hoarse. He must have shouted too.

“No. Stay in me.” I sounded slurred and fucked out, and that made me grin even though my mouth didn’t seem to want to work correctly.

“We’ll be stuck together,” he warned, his voice both teasing and warm. He was clearly recovering faster than I was.

My sigh was pure contentment. “Yes.”

“Okay, baby. Whatever you want.”

The morning dawned bright and a little chilly, but the temperature would quickly warm up.

I was happy to stay snuggled in his arms for the whole day, but sadly, that was not to be.

Even though Luke and Demi had left right after the wedding, there was still a lot going on today, as the rest of Luke’s family and all the guests who’d stayed on property were getting a farewell brunch before they took off.

I was pretty sure Mom wasn’t willing to give up Sunday brunch even in the face of all the guests.

Ville and I worked silently as we cleaned up as best we could.

First ourselves and then our little oasis.

We packed up whatever we could fit in Bluey so that later, when Ville came back—I’d already been forbidden to help—with his assistants, the rest would be easier to transport.

When that was done, we sat together on one of the benches.

Ville had brought a French press, coffee, and a kettle.

The water took no time to boil on the propane camp stove, and we were enjoying the hot brew and the sounds of nature.

Which this morning consisted of birds chirping, including a particularly loud Meadowlark, and some mournful moos.

The rescue herd must be closer than I thought.

Ville rubbed my back, kissed the top of my head, and without moving his mouth, asked quietly, “All put back together?”

I huffed out a laugh and lifted my face for a proper kiss. It was slow and sweet, but neither of us needed more at the moment. Just a connection. I tucked my head against his shoulder, and he pulled me in just that much closer.

“For the time being. I mean, logically, I know nothing is different.” I let out a sigh and then explained my thought process from last night, and really the past week.

Ville nodded along, and I could tell by the softness in his eyes that he understood.

“But it feels that way. I mean, she’s not even changing her name, since Harrington is so integral to her career.

And the kids are all hyphenated already.

It’s a good thing Luke’s last name is so short. ”

Ville chuckled at that. “But your twin is married now.”

I nodded. “She’s put Luke first for years. And her children. As it should be. And I’m still right there at the top. I don’t know why it feels different.”

“Brains are weird,” Ville said, as though that explained it. Honestly, it did.

I set my cup down on the open bench, then took his from him, and put it down too.

Ville’s brows raised, but he had to know what was coming, because he adjusted his position so that when I lifted up and straddled his lap, we were in no danger of tipping.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, fingers immediately sliding into his hair.

“Thank you for last night. I needed it more than I could have known.” I kissed him softly, then pulled back just enough so I could see his pretty eyes. “And I’m sorry about cutting you out in all the crazy before. I might have been spiraling a little. For a couple of different reasons.”

“I know.” He lifted a hand and cupped my cheek. “And we probably need to talk about some things.”

My gut clenched hard, knowing instantly what he meant.

For just a few seconds, my brain tried to rebel, anxiety creeping in.

But I shoved it all down. We still had a week, and even though I had to go back to work and our time together would be limited once again, I just couldn’t have any real discussion right now.

Not with everything else still feeling raw.

“But not today, okay?” I bit my bottom lip, a habit I thought I kicked in my teens, but that still crept in on occasion. Ville immediately used his thumb to free it, then leaned in to kiss me slowly, methodically, until I could barely breathe.

“Not today.” Then his look hardened, just a bit. He was looking at me after all, which meant his eyes were always full of affection. “But soon.”

“Okay,” I tried to say, but it was mostly breath and no sound. I cleared my throat with a nod. “Okay. Soon.”

That seemed to satisfy him, and he gathered up our mugs, first handing me mine, then picking up his own. When I went to move, his fingers clenched on my hip. Was it awkward finishing our coffee in this position? Yes. But neither one of us wanted to move.

Eventually, we had to though. The last of the things were packed up, just the tent, bed, firepit, and benches remaining.

We climbed into Bluey, and though I let Ville drive, I pointed us in a slightly different direction than the way we’d come last night.

It would take us the long way, and have us end up by the storage shed where most of the things were stored.

I was absolutely doing everything I could to prolong our quiet bubble of time together.
