Chapter 6 FINN
FINN
Few words shifted between me and my father as he tried to start some conversation on my future before I scrambled down the steps to my bedroom, locking the door behind me and calling the only other person I hoped and prayed hadn’t given up on me.
It would have crushed me had Runo not reached out.
But if this one didn’t answer… I’d have to go with plan B.
I didn’t really like plan B.
My fingers twirled the kitchen knife I had swiped before disappearing into my basement bedroom, staring at the odd adornments on the walls and the few superhero posters that littered the doorway from a childhood wasted.
The dungeon-esque bedroom hadn’t changed much from when I had left just after starting college.
Somehow, my parents had allowed black paint as part of the scheme, darkness covering every corner of my private space.
Not even the two lamps lit in opposite corners did much to illuminate the room.
Just the way I liked it.
A sinister smile spread across my lips as my gaze landed on the board I had set up on the empty wall full of faces that were all part of the plan.
“You rang?” A sultry voice filtered through my bedroom door fifteen minutes after the phone call I had placed.
There had been no hesitation on her part as I undid the lock and my ex-girlfriend sauntered through the archway like she owned the place.
Freshman year of college, she basically had.
It was probably the only saving grace I had—that Dad actually liked my first girlfriend.
If he only knew that she was nearly as crazy as I was, he would have never let her step across the threshold.
Jade was the epitome of hidden beauty, her angelic personality a misleading cover for the sinister wiles she continually dreamt up and then acted upon.
Her blonde tresses were pulled back into a high ponytail, remnants of her cheerleading days still evident with her manicured brows and nude-colored nails.
Her doe brown eyes looked almost as innocent as Killian’s, save for one minute difference—the submission.
It was why I loved Jade so much. Her submissive personality was perfectly matched with my dominant charade.
It wasn’t a love-love situation, more like a passion-use situation where she gave in to my demands and I rewarded her with sex.
It worked for us before and there was no reason it couldn’t work again, save for the three men who now held my heart.
I dragged her against me, enjoying the flicker of fear that passed through her expression before I claimed her lips.
Jade moaned, pressing her tits into my chest as I thoroughly tasted her.
God, I missed this. My dick responded accordingly, urging me to see if everything tasted the same but we didn’t have time for that. Not right now.
I released her, pressing a few more kisses on her lips before letting her go altogether.
She continued her path to my bed, shedding clothes as she went before crawling onto the midnight covers, ass in the air.
A moan fought its way out into the open as my gaze raked over her olive-skinned form, her perky tits bouncing with every giggle that slipped past her lips.
I had forgotten that one little detail, that Jade preferred to be in the nude.
It was both a welcoming and highly distracting detail that was going to take some getting used to.
Jade wiggled her eyebrows, gesturing me to follow her descent into the mattress but I just shook my head, adjusting my dick before returning my attention to the wall of faces I had put up this morning.
None of them interested me and with the burning need running through all three of the alters in my head, I couldn’t ignore Jade’s silent pleas any longer.
Who the fuck is she?
Dunno, but she’s hot.
Haven’t seen her in a while. What’s she doing here?
I didn’t answer them as I stalked toward the bed, one hand massaging my aching dick through my pants.
Her eyes dipped to my crotch, her smile widening as her fingers wiggled, “Come here. Let me suck on that.” I had only given Jade a vague overview of my plan and I hadn’t seen her in years, yet we seemed to pick right back up where we had left off.
If I wasn’t such a sick fuck, I might have been a little unnerved.
And I almost obliged Jade’s request if my phone hadn’t decided to ring with the one number that meant more to me than anything else in this godforsaken world.
I frantically pressed the little green button, not even caring that it was on speakerphone.
“Two calls in one day?” I asked, hopeful.
There had been a few times Runo’s number had popped up on my screen years ago but it was just some fucker that had redialed the last number.
My threats had done fuck all to scare them off since they were already in jail, but Runo had started keeping the phone a little more protected.
A chuckle sounded on the other side of the speaker. “Traded my yogurt to hold onto the phone again. Haven’t heard you in years and it’s just really good to talk to someone.” We had talked twice now and while I loved hearing his voice all the same, calling so soon again wasn’t our normal.
Runo never messed with the schedule, but I wasn’t going to question it. I missed him too. “I’m just someone now?” I meant that jokingly, of course. Kind of.
“You’re the only one that ever calls. Mom passed away years ago and Dad, well, I think he’s happy I’m in here.”
Runo never explained much about his parents. I knew his mother passed away similar to mine—alone and afraid. I had never met his father but we were peas in a pod, both hating our fatherly figures. “What did you do? I don’t… Killian won’t tell me what happened.”
Runo sighed and I could imagine him leaning against the wall, head hung low as he spoke to me.
“Still a bit strange hearing you talk like that about yourself. Just know that I’m not getting out, alright?
It’s not Killian’s fault but I wish I could have at least said goodbye to you. I didn’t even know where you were.”
I began twirling the kitchen knife in my hand again—unsure when I had picked it back up—staring ahead at the faces on my wall.
Strangely enough, adding a blade to the mix calmed my thoughts rather than edged them on.
I chucked the blade toward the wall, a wild smile adorning my features as it dug into a particular portrait’s eye.
Images of blood trailing down her face, mixing with her tears ran through my brain and I knew she was going to be my next target.
My dick hardened at the thought, even with my naked ass ex-girlfriend feet away, that moan threatening to leave me finally did.
“You playing your sick little game again, Finn? You really need to calm your thirsty ass down before you get locked in here with me.” Fuck, he’s still on the phone.
Turning my attention away from my pictures, I took a seat on the edge of the bed and let out a deep sigh.
The three in my head were locked away in that drab room where I liked them best, but it was almost lonely without their constant banter.
“I’m not getting locked up again. I did my time.”
“No, you got out on good behavior. You still owe the system eight years.”
That was true. Vehicular manslaughter, they had called it.
I was shy a few months of my eighteenth birthday, a horrible car accident resulting in the death of a pedestrian.
Eyewitnesses spoke on my behalf, saying that the pedestrian’s path had been erratic and that it would have been impossible to have avoided him.
The best part was that it wasn’t an accident.
My little trip down that back road had been on purpose.
He needed to die. I had to protect the men I now loved so dearly—men who had absolutely no idea that I had been around far longer than they knew.
I might not have spoken to Aeron until college, but that didn’t mean I hadn’t seen them before then.
With all of the sob stories and the identity of the victim revealed to be a gang member with several priors, they let me off with time served, added some community service, and suspended my license for a year.
My father wanting a clean slate, moved us out to Primrose, weeks before college began.
It was a mishap that Dad was forever trying to bury.
If I told him that I was Finn, he would know that I remembered.
He would know that the man they were trying to catch was me.
He would know that I wasn’t the sweet little Killian he had just accepted back into the house.
Although, he should have already figured that out.
Killian lived upstairs in that bright-ass bedroom. I enjoyed the basement.
“Killian locked me away for three years. Time served,” I finally spit out, my words coming out a lot breathier than I had intended. Jade curled up around my back, her hands trailing to the hem of my pants and slowly undoing them.
I slid my hips forward slightly and leaned backward to give her better access.
Doing this while Runo was on the phone probably wasn’t the best idea but I didn’t fucking care.
It had been too long since I had fucked someone, even longer since someone had sucked my dick and if Jade was offering, I wasn’t going to say no.
Runo laughed again, a dark husky edge to his voice. Oh, he knew exactly what I was doing. “Alright. My time is up. Next Monday unless someone’s willing to trade yogurt again.”
“For sure.”
The phone dropped to the bed and I pulled Jade fully into my lap until she was straddling my hips.
She stared at the phone with a strange look, as if to ask who I was speaking with but she knew better.
Instead, she rocked herself over the bulge between my legs, groaning at the pressure against her clit.
“Oh, you naughty girl,” I began before pulling her into a kiss.
She thrust her tongue into my mouth, playing with my lip rings rough enough to drag a groan from me. I needed to fuck this girl.
She rested back on her hind legs, staring at me through lidded eyes. “Your father’s going to kill you when he sees those knife marks in the wall.”
I shrugged, hands running down her chest before landing on her tits and squeezing.
She arched into the touch with a small gasp and I squeezed again before pinching her nipples.
“He never came down to my room when I lived here before. He also knows not to intrude on my privacy. You should have seen the smile on his face when you walked through the front door.”
“I thought he was going to bust a nut.” She grinned wildly as the terrible image passed through my head for the second time since I had reconnected with the man.
“Gross, that’s my dad.” My nose scrunched up playfully as I dropped my lips to a nipple and sucked, hard.
“How’s the others feel about this?” She taps my forehead.
“Not entirely happy but they can suck it. The dick’s getting wet.”
“It is?”
I wrapped my arms around her and thrust my hips upward to meet her dripping pussy.
“Fuck yeah, it is.” Jade giggled, falling against me as her lips found my Adam’s apple.
She kissed her way down my neck, sucking at the sensitive skin as I continued to thrust against her, my dick straining against the layer of cloth between us.
I had plans for this woman.
Wait… I remember K talking about her. Isn’t she the girl from freshman year? What the fuck is she doing here?
No clue. Finn’s not really keen on answering anything. I don’t remember her at all.
How could you not? She was fucking hanging on everyone. Killian wouldn’t give her the time of day. And then…
I don’t know, Dark. I just know that I’ve never seen her before.
You were born from darkness, Daemon.
From a need to separate the evil from reality.
You don’t remember her because you didn’t exist at that moment.
There was not enough evil to create you.
That silenced them because we hadn’t met Aeron then. We didn’t need to separate anything. The fact that Dark had seen her was news to me.
“Zoning out again, baby? All those secret conversations are making me fucking jealous. How many are we up to now?”
“Three.”
Jade kissed my lips softly, “Ehm and you’re still the delicious one. Now… is this rebellious stage your father thinks you were in ending or…”
I barked out a laugh. “If he thought that was rebelling, he’s in for a ride.” Another giggle fell from her full lips as I threw her onto the bed and stuffed my face between her legs. Goddamn, she really does still taste the same, sweet as ever.
