CHAPTER SIXTEEN

CLOVER

“I’ll pick you up at eight. Don’t wear any underwear.” Blaze’s voice was smooth and commanding through the phone.

He hung up, leaving me standing in my bathroom with heat building between my legs. He’d called as I stepped out of the shower to tell me that they wanted to show me something tonight. I couldn’t help but be wary and suspicious. His direct order to go commando left me feeling both apprehensive and excited.

As I applied a teal blue eyeshadow and black liner, I had a hard time meeting my own gaze in the mirror. I was ashamed of my reaction to Blaze’s command. He did something to me that I struggled to accept. The Angels scared the crap out of me…and it turned me on like crazy.

Was there something wrong with me? People had kinks. No big deal. I just didn’t know that I had them too. Not until three terrifying men had forced me to make a choice. A choice that meant I belonged to them now.

Raina had handled a similar situation, and everything had turned out fine. She was married to the Gods now. However, she was also a badass mafia queen who’d shown the Gods that she could hold her own. I was a kitten compared to her lioness. I didn’t know how to tap into my inner bad bitch. Did I even have one?

Since my lip was still healing, I decided on a lip balm tinted pale pink rather than lipstick. Every time it scabbed over, someone or something caused it to split open again.

I strode into my bedroom to find something to wear. Standing there naked, I glanced down at my body. No underwear, huh? Good thing I’d just shaved.

After perusing my options for far too long, I chose a cute little blue dress that matched my eye shadow. It had thin spaghetti straps, a cut that revealed cleavage, and a skirt that barely covered my ass. I wasn’t sure why I played into their game by wearing something sexy. I should be making it tough for them by wearing pants and a turtleneck.

As the time drew closer to eight, my nerves grew exponentially. I paced the small room from the door to the window and back again. When I caught sight of the silver Camaro pulling up in front of the building, my heart began to race.

I never expected Blaze to come up to my door. His knock made my mouth dry. I grabbed my fuzzy pink purse and forced my feet to move. Summoning whatever courage I possessed, I opened the door.

Blaze stood in the hallway looking like he’d just stepped out of a movie. In a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a leather jacket, he immediately stole my breath. That lock of dirty blond hair falling forward into his eyes didn’t help. Christ on a bicycle. I didn’t stand a chance.

His amber gaze flicked over me, lingering on my breasts before straying down to the expanse of thigh my dress revealed. “Holy fuck, you’re gorgeous. Show me.”

Knowing what he referred to, I lifted my skirt just enough for him to catch a glimpse of my neatly trimmed pussy. Dropping my skirt back into place, I said, “Happy?”

“You have no idea. Let’s go before I fuck you right here against the door.” Taking my hand, Blaze led me down the hall.

“Where’s Cash and Daire?” I asked when we were inside the Camaro.

“Back at the house. They’re getting things ready.” Blaze shot me a devilish smirk.

“Ready for what?” My stomach clenched. What the hell did they have planned? Maybe I should have told Raina that I was going out with them. She could look for me if I never came home.

A war between the Angels and the Gods was the last thing I wanted. I was on my own here.

“You’ll see.” Blaze reached over as we slowed at a red light. His hand warmly gripped my thigh.

I held my breath as he slid his hand up my leg under my skirt. My entire body stiffened as his fingers grazed my bare pussy. I cringed as heat flooded my core. Why did my body have to betray me by reacting to him? I wanted to hate Blaze, not get wet every time I was in his presence.

He dipped a finger between my folds, finding the moisture growing there. “I love how sweet and innocent you seem when we both know that deep down you’re a dirty girl. I guess it’s always the ones you least expect.”

Not knowing what to say to that, I squirmed a little in my seat, my breath hitching as his finger slid inside me. He pumped it in and out a few times. When the light turned green, he pulled away, sucking his finger into his mouth as he hit the gas.

I squeezed my thighs together as if that would slow the flood between my legs. He’d barely touched me. Damn him.

When we arrived at the Angels’ house, the butterflies in my stomach went apeshit crazy. Now there would be three of them.

The front entry of the house was large and open. There was a bathroom to the right next to what I assumed to be the basement door. A staircase straight ahead invited one up to the floor containing the bedrooms. Past the stairs I could see the kitchen and part of the living room.

Blaze brought me to the kitchen where he pulled a bottle of champagne from the fridge. “I think you’re going to need a drink before we get started. I’ll bring the bottle down.”

Pouring a large glass full to the top, he handed it to me. I stared into the glass, watching the bubbles pop. “Down where?”

“The basement. Daire and Cash are waiting for us.” Blaze passed me the champagne and reached into the freezer for a bottle of rum. “This should do it. After you, Rainbow.”

Nodding for me to walk ahead of him, he pointed out the basement door near the bathroom. I awkwardly pushed the door open while juggling the champagne glass and bottle. A dim light guided me down the stairs. When I reached the bottom, I stood in a hallway. To my right was a bedroom. To the left was a large, open space. That’s where Cash and Daire stood. They weren’t alone.

Suspended from the ceiling by chains with shackles locked around each wrist was a man. A thick layer of duct tape covered his mouth. I didn’t recognize him. Confused, I turned to Blaze for an explanation.

“We wanted to show you what happens to those who talk,” Blaze explained, a wicked glint lighting up his eyes. “Just in case you’re tempted to tell Raina, or anyone else, more than they need to know.”

“I didn’t,” I protested. “I wouldn’t.”

He didn’t need to know that I’d told Raina everything. She was no threat to them. Up to her eyeballs in the crime world, she wouldn’t tell a soul about the man they’d killed to protect me.

“Come here, Sunshine.” Cash patted the leather couch as he sat down. “Have a seat while you enjoy your drink.”

Daire eyed me with blatant hunger as I crossed the room. He looked at me like I was a helpless mouse and he was a starving cat. It sent a cold chill through me.

I took a seat next to Cash, setting the champagne bottle on the coffee table. Needing to take the edge off my nerves, I took a large drink from the glass I held. My knees shook slightly. I did my best to still them before anyone noticed.

Sliding an arm around my shoulders, Cash pulled me against his hard body. He was the biggest of the three of them. Muscles that rippled beneath his clothes. A tall, intimidating physique. He could snap me like a twig.

“What did he do?” I whispered to Cash, nodding to the man hanging from the ceiling.

Cash leaned in close, breathing in my perfume. “Fuck, you smell amazing. He told someone about the night we made his friend disappear. The guy had hurt a kid in a pretty fucked up way. He deserved everything we did to him. Now we have to teach him what happens to those who talk.”

“Pay close attention, Angel,” Daire said. “We wouldn’t want you to end up the same way now, would we?”

What in the fuck? I didn’t tell anyone anything. Raina didn’t count. These assholes were so desperate to control me. They couldn’t stand the thought of even her knowing anything.

I watched as Daire pulled a set of brass knuckles from his jeans pocket. Sliding them onto his fingers, he smiled. His fist moved fast, smashing into the man’s face. A huge gash opened up on his cheek, spilling blood.

I gasped when Daire hit him again. The skin split open beneath his eye this time. He grunted in pain, mumbling something inaudible behind the tape over his mouth.

Blaze was quick to join in the violence. He took a swig of the rum he held before kicking the man in the ribs. The kick sent him swinging. It looked painful. I had a hard time watching. Somehow, I didn’t look away. I had to prove that I was stronger than they thought.

They took turns punching the guy until his head hung and he ceased to make much noise. That’s when Daire pulled out a knife. I finished my drink and reached for the bottle. I needed a refill for this.

Small slashes turned into large cuts that dripped blood all over the floor. A large, thick sheet of plastic had been laid down beforehand to protect the carpet. I guess the Angels were prepared for this kind of thing.

Daire turned away from the man, a crazed grin adorning his face. He nodded to Cash. “Want to finish him off?”

“Hell yeah.” Cash rose from the couch. When Daire offered him the knife, he shook his head.

Trepidation made me hold my breath. They were going to make me watch them kill another man. I’d witness a second murder. My next swallow of champagne went down hard as I realized that they never planned to let me go. Not unless they tired of me or killed me.

Daire and Blaze stood back, letting Cash take over. I wasn’t sure what I expected him to do. Tightly gripping the man’s head, Cash jerked it to one side, snapping his neck. I fought to contain the small shriek that spilled between the fingers I pressed to my lips.

A scream lodged in my throat. I choked it back, fighting hard to keep it inside. My eyes began to fill with tears that I blinked away. I wouldn’t let them see how much they scared me. They wanted to instill fear in me with this sick display. It worked.

Daire noticed my pale face and shaking hands. “You’re not going to fall apart on us, are you, Little Unicorn? Don’t tell me you’ve never seen Raina and the Gods do shit like this.”

With a vigorous shake of my head, I managed to speak without throwing up. “No, I haven’t. Never. They don’t include me in their activity.”

“How sweet of her to protect you from the harsh reality of vengeance.” Daire chuckled, reaching to push the hair back from my face. Peering into my eyes, he said, “Sorry to break it to you but we’ve only just begun.”

The three of them took the body down and wrapped it in the plastic before carrying it up the stairs. I had only a few minutes alone in the basement before they returned. There was nowhere for me to go. Nothing I could do to escape.

I was on the verge of panicking when they came back. Daire saw it in my eyes and smirked. He loved seeing me about to break. I’d known he was a twisted bastard. I suspected that I was about to see just how twisted he could be.

He nodded to the shackles hanging from the ceiling. “Your turn, Angel.”

My gaze flicked to the chains. “Please tell me this is a joke.”

“Do I look like I’m joking?” Daire held out a hand to me, tilting his head to one side.

He did not, in fact, look like he was joking. I’d played around with handcuffs in the past with previous lovers. Nothing like the shackles hanging from the ceiling. The fear that gripped me chased all thought from my mind. My fight or flight glitched out, leaving me frozen in place.

Cash took the glass from my hand and placed it on the table. A voice inside my head screamed at me to stand up. To take Daire’s hand and let him bind me with those chains. I would not let them break me down and reduce me to a puddle of fear.

Sucking in a sharp breath, I forced myself to stand up on shaky legs. Taking a step forward, I placed my hand in Daire’s.

He pulled me over to the hanging chains, raising one arm above my head as he locked the shackle around my wrist. Then he did the same to the other. I was forced to stand on my tiptoes. Blaze stepped forward with the duct tape in hand. The blood drained from my face when he put a thick layer over my mouth.

“Goddamn, you’re beautiful, Clover.” Blaze trailed a finger over my taped lips. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this to you.”

Instinct had me pulling against the metal bonds on my wrists. All that did was cause them to painfully dig into my skin. I choked back a whimper, telling myself repeatedly that it was okay. They weren’t going to kill me.

That didn’t do much to ease my worries. Especially when Cash said, “We need to get rid of that dress.”

Daire produced the knife that appeared to have been cleaned since he used it on the man they’d killed. Without hesitation, he grabbed the front of my dress and sliced it down the middle. Next he sliced through the straps so the material fell to the floor. I made a noise of protest. What would I wear home now?

“I hope that wasn’t a favorite of yours,” Daire chuckled. He ran the flat side of the knife blade along my chest and down between my breasts. The cold metal sent a shiver through me.

The three of them surrounded me. Cash circled my nipple with a finger before pinching it hard enough to make me squeak. Blaze moved behind me so he was out of sight. Moments later I felt the heat of his hand on my back. Sliding it up my body, he shoved my hair aside and pressed his lips to the back of my neck.

He kissed me softly at first, making me think that maybe this wouldn’t be so bad. The sudden sharp sting of his teeth sinking into my skin sent a quiver through me. I hated that it hurt yet my body responded with heat between my legs.

My nipples hardened as Cash pinched them between his fingers. My back arched involuntarily, making a smug smile cross his face. He leaned down to suck one into his mouth, swirling his tongue around it before biting down. A small shriek reverberated in my throat, trapped by the tape covering my mouth.

“How much do you think you can take?” Blaze whispered in my ear. “We own you, Clover. You need to remember that. After we’re done with you, you will never forget it.”

His hands slid down my ass, squeezing it tight. Prying my ass cheeks apart, he teased my hole with a fingertip. The urge to clench was strong.

However, it was Daire and his knife that dominated my focus. My eyes widened as he ran the blade down my body and used it to tease my clit. Holy fuck, he was going to cut me. It would only take one wrong move from either him or me to make that happen.

“Let’s take this up a notch, hmm?” Daire bent down to grab the scraps of my dress from the floor. The next thing I knew, he tied it around my eyes like a blindfold.

I vigorously shook my head, making a noise that conveyed my disagreement. It made no difference to any of them.

“Hold still, Sunshine,” Cash murmured, his breath warm on my skin. “Let it happen. You’ll love it, and we really don’t want to have to kill you.”

The sound of my heart pounded louder in my ears. There was no predicting what level of insanity these guys were operating at. I’d kept my mouth shut about the murder. I’d let them claim me in their twisted game. It hadn’t been enough for them.

My entire body jerked when the knife handle pressed against my clit. Daire stroked my chin with his free hand. “Relax, Clover. That’s right. Surrender.”

What choice did I have? It wasn’t as if I could leave. Trying to hold back the scream building in my throat, I held my breath as Daire slid the knife handle between my folds. He ran it up and down along my slit.

“For someone who acts like she doesn’t want to be here, you’re fucking wet.” Daire sounded impressed. “You like this, Angel? You want more?”

He didn’t wait for a response before slipping the knife handle inside me. He pumped it into my pussy, fucking me with it. That’s when a whimper escaped me. This was too much for my mind to handle.

A finger landed on my clit. I wasn’t sure who it belonged to, although the movements around me suggested that it was Cash. While Daire fucked me with the knife handle, Cash worked my clit. Soon I was moaning into the tape, unable to hold back.

“That’s our good girl.” Blaze continued to tease my ass, prodding me with his finger. He pressed it inside me, making me tense from the sudden intrusion. “Relax, Dollface. It will go so much smoother if you relax.”

A moment later I heard the sound of a zipper followed by what seemed to be a plastic cap. The rustle of clothing told me that someone was stripping down. Blaze’s lube covered cock was suddenly pressing against my ass, replacing his finger. Holy shit.

Holding my cheeks wide apart, he slowly worked his way inside me. It was a tight fit. Painful at first. Someone knelt before me, sucking on my clit. I suspected that it was Daire since the knife handle still worked my pussy. A mouth on my nipple joined in the flurry of sensations messing with my mind and body.

The pressure inside my ass grew as Blaze pushed deep. I felt full in a way that was somehow both uncomfortable and yet pleasurable. He held still a moment, letting me get used to having him inside me. My body jerked as Daire aggressively flicked my clit with his tongue.

My shoulders ached from being suspended from the ceiling. I hated that I couldn’t see anything. As Blaze began to move inside me, Daire pulled the knife handle out of my pussy. I heard him unzip his jeans and kick them off. Grabbing my hips, he held me tight as he shoved his cock inside me.

My gasp was cut off by the tape over my mouth. I sucked as much air through my nose as possible, letting my head fall back against Blaze’s shoulder as they both fucked me. Never had I felt so full in my life. It was almost too much to take.

“That’s right, Clover. Take our cocks like a good girl. Fuck, your pussy feels like my own personal heaven.” Daire’s voice was husky with desire. “Let us hear how much you love getting fucked.”

He pulled the tape off my mouth, making me wince from the sting. It felt good to get rid of it though. My moans spilled free, growing louder with each thrust. In that moment, they completely owned my body. I was theirs, and it felt so damn good. I would hate myself later for loving it so much. Right then, I was overwhelmed by pleasure.

I came with a cry, my body jerking with orgasmic waves. They continued to fuck me hard, using my body for their enjoyment. Blaze came first, coating the inside of my ass with his release. He slapped my ass cheeks as he pulled out.

After a few more strokes, Daire’s cock twitched inside me. He came with a moan and a few whispered obscenities. Because I was still blindfolded, I didn’t see him pick up the knife. Nor did I see him bring it to my skin.

The pain above my hip was sharp and shocking. I let out a screech that had someone slapping a hand over my mouth. Daire dragged the knife over my skin, etching something into my flesh. Even though it was over quickly, the pain remained.

Just when I thought maybe they would release me, Cash took Daire’s place. I felt his bigger frame against me. He held me more gently than the other two had. One arm went around my waist. He caressed my hair, pressing his lips to mine. Cash’s kiss had a tenderness to it that I hadn’t expected.

When his thick cock slipped into my soaked pussy, I found myself hungry for him. With what little strength I had left, I lifted my legs from the floor and wrapped them around his waist.

“I knew you would love being our toy,” Cash said, a hand wrapping around my throat. “I’m going to make you come so hard. I want to feel it all over my cock.”

Cash roughly thrust into me. The sound of our bodies slapping together was loud in my ears. Someone stepped up behind me, threading a hand into my hair. My head was jerked back as the knife pressed against the side of my neck. Daire.

“You belong to us,” he hissed. “Let me hear you say it.”

“I belong to you,” I said, afraid of what he’d do if I didn’t. “All of you.”

“You’re our dirty little slut. Our good girl who will do anything we want. Say it.”

“I’m your good girl who will do anything you want.” My lungs heaved as Cash moved faster inside me.

Daire patted my face, removing the knife from my neck. “Damn right you will. Now come all over Cash’s cock.”

Something about Daire’s command sent me over the edge. Climactic sensations built fast, dropping me into pleasurable oblivion. My pussy spasmed around Cash’s cock. I made a sound that I didn’t recognize as me.

Cash’s hands tightened painfully on my hips as he slammed into me. With a low, guttural growl, he filled me with his cum. When he finally lowered me to the ground and released my hands from the shackles, I almost collapsed. The blindfold was removed before Cash carried me over to the couch.

He laid me on a blanket and poured me a fresh glass of champagne. It wasn’t nearly hard enough for me to process what had just happened. I extended a hand for the rum bottle Blaze now held. He handed it over with a shrug.

“I’d say you’ve earned anything you want, Rainbow. You did good.”

Daire tugged his pants back on, drawing my gaze to the justice scales tattooed on his lower abdomen. He really believed in this vigilante shit. Damn.

After chugging back enough rum to make my throat burn and my stomach rebel, I glanced down at my sore hip. Son of a bitch.

Etched in my skin was a bloody mark in the shape of an A. Daire had cut me, marking me as theirs. They really had no intention of letting me get away.
