36. Nero
Iwas glad Kujo mostly had his head out of his ass because I’d been shipping that ass and Sydney since she punched him in the nuts.
I knew I was right. Kujo didn’t need meditation or scented candles to get a vision.
He needed to empty his mind by hitting things.
Sydney knew this and that was why she suggested it.
Lilith helped us with the spell. Lilith also taught Sydney how to charge this random crystal Lucifer had lying around to let us know if there was an angel skulking around the property or hiding in the passages as it were. We were safe, so Sydney sealed off the passages.
We left each other to change clothes and meet in Lucifer’s sparring room. The three of us were in our usual sweats with no shirts on. We didn’t usual spar topless, but males usually showed off to attract females in the animal kingdom and we were no different.
Sydney breezed in with her long, white blonde hair pulled back into a bun.
She was wearing black leggings and another tank and I think we all zeroed in to see what this one said.
This time, her shirt had a book on it that was being fingered oddly how I’d do it to a vagina and said Spread My Pages and Call Me a Good Girl.
It was more provocative than anything she’d worn so far and I was actually fairly sure Mammon wouldn’t understand this one.
I grinned, but I didn’t say anything because of how she was looking at the three of us.
Next thing, I knew, she whipped her top off and flung it across the room.
She was just standing there in a black sports bra.
“There. Now we’re all topless and distracted.”
Ugh. Now I was picturing her naked, and she was throwing off enough lust to give me a significant power boost. So was Celix and Kujo. Were we gonna fuck instead of fight? Because I was completely open to that and based on what I was feeling from everyone, they were too.
But would it help Kujo get a vision?
Kujo made a taunting gesture to Sydney.
“Let’s see if you can get me on my back when I’m expecting you.”
I guess we were fighting.
“No one expects the Spanish Inquisition,” she laughed, exploding at Kujo.
Celix and I just stepped back and let them go.
Yeah, this wasn’t fighting, it was foreplay.
This was their love language and yeah, they were working out shit from their first meeting.
They both looked like they were having a blast. I didn’t think I’d ever seen Kujo enjoy himself so much.
Celix and I were just leaning against the wall watching.
“So, I’m not an incubus, but this is going to end in a fuck fest, right?”
“Yeah. You know how the two of us actually talk about our feelings and give heartfelt apologies when we fuck up? She needs that, but she needs this too. So does he.”
“Shall we place a wager, brother? They are fairly matched. He’s bigger with all the perks of being a half Fury, but she’s faster with a little extra angel. They aren’t using magic. It’s anyone’s game.”
“Brother, you need to start reading books like the ones she writes. Someone is going to get pinned. It could be him, it could be her. Their eyes are going to meet, all sweaty and breathless. They are going to lay there for like, five seconds, just staring, and then someone is going to go for the kiss. Clothes are going to get ripped off and sweaty sex is going to happen. They both win.”
“No way. That’s fiction.”
“His erection says otherwise.”
“Is it safe to get an erection around her when she might still be mad at him?”
I just grunted. It couldn’t be helped, and I already knew she forgave him. Sydney was a pretty amazing fighter. She managed to get her thighs around Kujo’s shoulders and flew around him, flinging him on his back. He laughed like a maniac and pounced.
She ended up pinned with her legs wrapped around him. I poked Celix.
“Called it.”
“Asshole. She could still—fuck me, you were right.”
Yeah, Sydney got Kujo to the mat and then he pinned her, but she was the one who initiated the kiss.
And Kujo was kissing her back like he was a dying man and she was the only thing that could save him.
