Chapter 19

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Leo: What did I just send you money for?

Mina: Therapy. I need it because of you.

Leo: That’s to tell them you’re in a relationship.

Mina: I believe you’re meant to ask someone to be with you instead of just assuming. Or, in fact, paying them to be with you. Besides, lying to a therapist won’t do me any favors.

Leo: It wouldn’t be a lie.

Mina: Excuse me? Spell it out to me like I’m two. Please. And quickly before I spiral.

Leo: *Leo sent $500*

Leo: Buy yourself something nice and big so you feel less . . . empty. Imagine it’s my cock. I’ll send more if you promise me you’ll go to sleep with it still in because I want to be inside you all night. Is this spelled out enough for you?

Leo: Hello?

Leo: You there??

Leo: Need another towel?

Mina: At this rate, the therapist might tell me to block your number over what you’re doing to my head.

Leo: Then it’s a good thing I know your email.

Mina: I’m sure the Block button is easy to find. It’s not like you know where I live, then she might have different advice.

Leo: When you say it like that, I might feel inclined to test some boundaries. What do you think she’d say if I showed up at your door unannounced?

Mina: Um. That depends. Are you there to check if I’ve kept your promise?

Leo: I have other ways to make sure you’re holding up your end of the deal. It’d only get worse for you if you try telling people you’re single.

Mina: That’s ominous and vaguely threatening. Are you forgetting about doctor-patient confidentiality?

Mina: *Mina sent $300*

Mina: That’s to tell people you’re in a relationship.

Leo: *Leo sent $500*

Leo: I’d do it for free.

Leo: Now turn on your camera. I miss seeing my pretty cunt.
