Chapter 3

Knox

My driver stood outside of my BMW 8 to wait for Ryder. I teased Finn about being jealous of his interest in my bartender, but with Finn’s attraction to him, I grew attracted to him as well. He was a good-looking young man with a model face, but so full of innocence.

Finn and I wanted to bring in a third man to not only play with, but to dote on and spoil. I wanted to watch someone fucking Finn, and he wanted to watch me fucking someone else, preferably all at the same time.

Being with my stepson had never been in the cards. It hadn’t been something I sought. I came into his life when he was fourteen, right before I married his mother, and then she died six years later. I’d never been with a man before, or even overly sexual, being so busy trying to get a foothold on my success. But Finn turned my world on its head, and I never looked back.

The car door suddenly opened, and before Ryder climbed in, he paused to look at me, uncertain.

“Welcome, Mr. Jennings.”

He climbed in and sat down, buckling his seatbelt. He carried with him a faint spicy scent, one I instantly recognized since I also owned Viktor something I had experienced myself. When Finn wanted something bad enough, he did all he could to have it. There was no point in fighting him, and it was much more pleasurable to give in.

“Who’s that?” someone asked as I took another sip of wine. “A new model?”

I glanced down at the shorter man and my manager at the club. He wore sunglasses over his amber eyes, his tight black curls were closely cropped to his perfectly shaped head, and his umber skin contrasted with the beige linen shirt he wore. His body was lean yet muscular, and he was stunning to look at. Most of the staff members who worked at Legends were attractive. In the end, sex sells.

Regardless, Silas James was amazing as my manager, and I trusted him to handle things when I wasn’t around.

Before I could answer, he peeled his sunglasses off. “Wait, is that our Ryder?”

“The very one.”

“Finn seems… taken with him.”

I chuckled. “He’s trying, anyway. He’s definitely drawn to my bartender.” I left out the part that I was drawn to Ryder, too, for obvious reasons.

“They look good together.”

“I’m not sure Ryder is even interested in men, but damn if Finn won’t try.”

Silas kept watching the two men, nodding thoughtfully as he took a sip of the same wine I was drinking. “No, I’ve seen Ryder in action. You know me, I watch everyone. If I had to guess, he plays for both teams.”

I raised a brow at Silas. “Explain.” He wasn’t wrong that he was good at reading people, and that was another reason he was my manager. It was why, if I was playful with Finn at the club, Silas wasn’t working that night.

“He flirts with women. Sometimes it’s fake, and sometimes not. But he rarely flirts with the men, while he looks at certain men longingly, and that includes your Finn. To further expand on my guess, I’d say he’s never been with a man before, but he wants to try it.”

“Interesting,” I mumbled. That sounded all the more titillating. If we could get Ryder into our bed, that would be a time to remember. And if we could get him to come back, it would be an achievement.

“It appears they like each other,” he said and chuckled. “Just one is vastly more experienced than the other.”

My cock tried to pulse to life again at the idea, but I quickly settled it down.

“I suppose we’ll see what happens between them.”

Silas looked up at me. “You don’t mind your bartender dating your stepson?”

“Finn’s a grown man who makes his own choices. I try not to interfere as long as he’s on the right path with work and he’s happy. That’s all that matters.”
