The Melting of the Ice

The drive back from the hospital was nothing like the frantic, silent terror of the journey there.

The early morning sun was just beginning to crest the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow across the dashboard.

In the back seat, four-month-old Kai was sound asleep in his car seat, his breathing deep and even, his fever completely gone.

Up front, Adrian drove with one hand on the steering wheel, his other hand tightly entwined with Luciel’s, their fingers locked so hard their knuckles were white.

They didn’t talk much on the way home. They didn’t need to. The air in the car was no longer suffocating; it was thick with a heavy, magnetic anticipation that made Luciel’s skin tingle and his chest ache with a sweet, pounding pressure.

When they finally stepped through the front door of the apartment, the heavy weight of the past few days evaporated completely.

“I’ll put him down,” Luciel whispered, his voice soft and slightly breathless as he unbuckled the sleeping baby.

“I’ve got him,” Adrian murmured, stepping in close. He didn’t just take the car seat; he let his broad chest brush against Luciel’s shoulder, his green eyes burning with a dark, unyielding intensity that made Luciel’s knees go weak. “Go change out of those damp clothes. I’ll meet you in my room.”

Luciel’s heart leaped into his throat. His room.

For months, Adrian’s master bedroom had been a forbidden sanctuary—a place Luciel only entered to drop off fresh laundry or check on the baby’s monitor.

But as he walked down the hallway, peeling off the ruined, milk-soaked flannel shirt, he didn’t head to the guest room.

He walked straight into Adrian’s bedroom, his bare chest heaving, his pale skin flushing crimson in the amber morning light filtering through the heavy curtains.

By the time the door clicked open behind him, Luciel was trembling.

Adrian walked in, kicking the door shut with his heel.

He had already shed his dress shirt, leaving his massive, muscular torso completely bare, his chest covered in a light dusting of dark hair that tapered down into his waistband.

He took one look at Luciel standing by the edge of the large mattress—bare-chested, his heavy, rounded breasts glistening slightly with a stray bead of milk, his large blue eyes wide with a desperate, romantic hunger—and let out a low, rough growl.

“Luciel...” Adrian groaned, crossing the room in two massive strides.

----

There was no hesitation left. The walls had completely crumbled.

Adrian’s arms wrapped around Luciel’s waist like iron bands, lifting him entirely off his feet and throwing him back onto the soft, dark sheets of the mattress.

Luciel let out a sharp, breathless gasp as Adrian’s heavy, muscular frame followed him down, pinning him into the mattress, their bare skin meeting in a sudden, explosive rush of heat.

“I love you,” Adrian muttered fiercely, his mouth slamming down onto Luciel’s with a desperate, crushing passion. “God, Luciel, I love you so much. I’ve been dying for this. I’ve been dying for you.”

“Adrian... ah... Adrian!” Luciel cried out into the kiss, his arms wrapping frantically around Adrian’s thick neck, his fingers tangling into his brown hair. He arched his back, pushing his soft, heavy chest directly against Adrian’s hard, muscular torso.

The physical friction was intoxicating. The intense, romantic arousal instantly triggered his body’s responses, a heavy rush of sweet white milk spraying out across Adrian’s chest as they moved against each other. But there was no shame tonight. No hiding.

Adrian pulled back from the kiss, his breathing ragged, his green eyes glazed with absolute devotion as he looked down at Luciel’s changing body. He reached down, his large, warm hands cupping both of Luciel’s heavy, leaking breasts, squeezing them gently, marveling at the soft, full warmth of them.

“You are so beautiful,” Adrian choked out, his voice thick with emotion. He leaned down, his tongue tasting the sweet, warm fluid running down Luciel’s ribs before his mouth captured one swollen, dark rose nipple, sucking strongly.

“Oh my god... Adrian! I love you! I love you!”

Luciel sobbed out, a pure, euphoric pleasure shooting straight to his core.

His thighs tangled with Adrian’s long legs, his hips shifting instinctively against the older man’s weight.

He had never felt so worshiped, so entirely seen.

“Please... I want you... I want all of you...”

Adrian shifted, his large hands sliding down to grip Luciel’s hips, lifting him slightly. He looked down into Luciel’s eyes, his expression fierce, raw, and completely unmasked.

“Look at me, Luciel,” Adrian whispered roughly, his voice trembling. “Tell me who I’m holding. Say it.”

“Me...” Luciel whimpered, his blue eyes overflowing with happy tears as he looked up into the face of the man he adored. “You’re holding me. Luciel.”

“Luciel,” Adrian repeated, the name sounding like a sacred vow on his lips as he surged forward, uniting their bodies in a single, deep, and completely overwhelming motion.

----

The intercourse was passionate, intense, and entirely uninhibited. The room filled with the heavy, rhythmic sounds of their breathing, the soft creak of the mattress, and the sweet, distinct scent of warm milk and raw, masculine heat.

Every movement was laced with a desperate need to make up for the days of agonizing silence.

Adrian moved with a powerful, driving rhythm, his large hands anchoring Luciel to the bed, his green eyes never leaving Luciel’s flushed, ecstatic face.

He kissed him over and over—his lips, his jawline, his throat, his throbbing chest—leaving a trail of fiery marks across Luciel’s pale skin.

“I love you, Luciel,” Adrian groaned against his mouth, his pace quickening as the tension in the room coiled tighter and tighter. “I love you... you’re my home... you’re everything to me...”

“Adrian... ah, ah!... I love you!” Luciel cried out, his voice breaking with the sheer intensity of the pleasure.

His fingers dug into the muscles of Adrian’s shoulders, his entire body shaking as the waves of a powerful, toe-curling climax began to wash over him.

“I love you so much... Adrian... please!”

“I’ve got you,” Adrian panted, his own breath hitching as he felt Luciel’s inner muscles tighten around him.

He let out a loud, unrestrained cry of surrender, burying his face in the crook of Luciel’s neck as they both went over the edge together, their bodies trembling in a long, shattering release.

----

An hour later, the room was quiet, bathed in the soft, warm light of the mid-morning sun.

Luciel lay curled against Adrian’s side, his head resting securely on the older man’s broad, furry chest. Adrian’s massive arm was wrapped tightly around his waist, his large hand resting on the soft slope of Luciel’s hip, occasionally tracing lazy, soothing circles against his skin.

Both of them were completely spent, their skin sticky with sweat and the faint, sweet residue of Luciel’s milk, which had pooled over the dark sheets.

“Are you okay?” Adrian murmured softly, leaning down to press a tender, lingering kiss against the crown of Luciel’s blonde head.

Luciel let out a soft, content sigh, his fingers lightly tracing the hard lines of Adrian’s abdominal muscles. For the first time in months, the deep, aching insecurity in his heart was entirely gone. He felt safe. He felt cherished.

“I’ve never been better,” Luciel whispered, lifting his head slightly to look up at Adrian with a brilliant, breathless smile. “I just... I can’t believe you actually love me.”

Adrian let out a low chuckle, his green eyes softening with an infinite amount of warmth. He shifted, pulling Luciel up until their faces were inches apart. He cupped Luciel’s cheek, his thumb brushing against his smooth jawline.

“Believe it,” Adrian said firmly, his voice full of a quiet, unyielding certainty. “And if you ever forget, I’m going to bring you right back into this bed and tell you again. Over and over. Every single day for the rest of our lives. I love you, Luciel.”

“I love you too, Adrian,” Luciel replied, his heart overflowing as he leaned up to seal the promise with a soft, sweet, and deeply contented kiss.

Down the hall, four-month-old Kai slept peacefully in his crib, surrounded by the absolute, unbroken warmth of the parents who loved him—and each other—with everything they had.
