Chapter 16 Jaseon Jr #2

Chuckling at the ditzy twins, I pushed them both out of my way.

Marsha worked with Sheena in the forensics lab and had been trying to get me to fuck with her for years.

Sheena knew about it, and they bumped heads constantly because no matter how much Sheena claimed me as hers, Marsha lay in wait, hoping I’d call her up.

That hope came from me letting her suck me off once or twice, but it was nothing to phone home about, which is why her waiting for me to call was a waste of time.

Throwing back my second shot, I stepped back into the bar and watched as Sheena shot daggers my way.

I admitted she looked good tonight. She had on too much makeup for my liking, but her form-fitting cocktail dress made me consider meeting her in her cabin later.

Shaking my head, I glanced around the deck, disappointed that I could no longer see Blossom.

Pushing Sheena to the side, I scanned the entire area, pissed that she was gone.

“Look, we’re having family time, so save your psychotic ways and possessive bullshit for when we get back to Milly Grove,” I heard Karlie say in a sizzling tone from behind me.

“Don’t get your ass beat and thrown overboard for fucking with my brother.

He has to deal with your bullshit on the daily at work, and I’ll be damned if he does it on vacation too. ”

“Who the fuck—”

“Hey!” I turned, snapping at her. “Watch your mouth before you let some shit slip that’ll have you in the belly of a shark by sunrise.” Her eyes widened before they began to fill with tears. “I said if I have time, I’ll fuck with you, but it’s not a priority. Enjoy your vacation.”

“W-What about that girl I saw you with?” she whined, wiping her eyes. “Who is she?” She went from sad to angry in seconds. “If I see her in your face again—”

“Say it.” I gritted my teeth as I stepped toward her, causing her to shrink.

“If you say anything to her out of the way and I find out about it, I promise you, I’ll see to it that you wear a shit bag for the rest of your life.

” Glancing at Marsha, my frown deepened.

“You, too, Marsha. All on the strength of being just as slow as she is. If you two think I’m playing, try me.

Y’all get the fuck on before you piss me off, for real. ”

Looking from me to my siblings, both women rolled their eyes before stomping away, leaving the bar area. I would never feel bad about the way I talked to them, especially Sheena. I’d told her repeatedly what it was with us, and she continued to act as if she was cool with it until she wasn’t.

Shaking my head at the encounter, I tuned back in to my crew as we continued to enjoy our night. I wanted to make the most of this trip, and I wasn’t going to let Sheena’s presence ruin that.

“She went back to her room with her friend,” Jamir murmured from the side of me. “In case you're wondering.”

“My man!” I grinned, draping my arm across his shoulders. “Don’t tell them other heathens, but you’re my favorite.”

Chuckling lowly, he pushed his glasses up his nose and threw back his shot.

For the rest of the night, I vibed with my siblings, but Blossom never left my mind.

I was going to let her enjoy herself and try not to show my ass during this trip.

Little did she know, I was already plotting to see her again, and much sooner than she thought.

“Now, when we get on the water, act like you have the sense that Breonna, Monique, and Jade gave you guys because it’s clear Jaseon, Amir, and Mitch lacked in that department,” Karlie announced as we reached the area where the jet skis were docked.

I had agreed to pay for the shit, but I had no plans of getting in the damn water.

“Keep your vests secure, and don’t try to showboat. ”

“Karlie, you ain’t our mama, girl.” Jamari chuckled as he folded his arms and stood in front of us. “I’m a grown-ass man, and I’m going to operate like one.”

Shaking my head at them going back and forth, I chose to stay out of it.

Jamari and Jamir were the youngest of my siblings at twenty-six, and they were night and day.

Jamir was the geeky one with the biggest heart.

He was a little on the timid side, but he wasn’t a punk.

Back in high school, niggas thought he was sweet and picked on my brother.

I didn’t want to always be the one to come to his rescue, so I made sure my brother knew how to protect himself.

Jamari had his back just like Jax had mine, but I needed Jamir to be able to hold his own.

One day, I was tired of seeing niggas handle my baby brother like he was a bitch and made him square up with all of them, one by one.

He beat hella ass that day, and I was proud. Nobody had fucked with him since.

Jamari was opposite. He was quick to pop off, never asking questions before action.

From fighting, fucking on niggas’ girls, and being ignorant as fuck, the boy was a menace.

At home, he was a little gentler and would give you the shirt off his back without you even asking.

All my brothers were like that, though. We were loyal but fucking crazy.

That was the result when you had Breonna McKnight for a mother and Jaseon McKnight for a father.

“We can just call Mama and see what she has to say.” Jax pulled his phone from his back pocket, shutting Jamari up immediately. “That’s what I thought. Bring your goofy ass on. Football season starts soon, and a nigga can’t even kick it with his people in peace.”

“You’re Flash McKnight, jackass!” Jamari pushed him slightly as we reached the pier for them to get on the jet skis. “The fuck is peace?”

Chuckling at my siblings, I pulled my hat down lower to keep the sun at bay. We had docked in St. Thomas last night, and the island was beautiful. For the most part, we’d been able to enjoy the island in peace, although Jax had been spotted a few times, being the famous football star he was.

“Come on, friend! This will be fun. Put the life jacket on and bring your scary ass on!”

Knowing Stacy’s voice by now, I turned my head in search of her because I knew Blossom would be with her.

It didn’t take long for my eyes to spot her, causing my dick to jump instantly.

Dressed in a neon bikini top and denim cutoffs, she was bad as fuck.

With her arms crossed, Blossom’s pout was cute as she shook her head in defiance.

“If she’s not going to get on, she needs to get the hell out of the way!” the guy working the line shouted. “I don’t have all fuckin’ day!”

“Aye, take some of that bass out of your tone when you’re talking to her,” I stated coolly, although I felt anything but as I approached them. It wouldn’t be a good look to drown him in front of all these people. “There’s a better way to speak to her.”

“F-Flash McKnight.” The man looked at me with wide eyes. “I’m your biggest fan!”

“Can’t be. My fans know I don’t deal with disrespect when it comes to women,” my twin said, joining the conversation from behind me.

Blossom and Stacy gasped, and the man’s eyes widened as Jax continued to speak, not pausing to acknowledge their shock over us being identical twins.

“Apologize to the ladies, and maybe I won’t broadcast to the world how you talk to your customers, telling them to steer clear of your business when they come to this beautiful island. ”

Apologizing immediately, the fan refused to look at Blossom and Stacy as he turned and busied himself with life jackets.

I said nothing as my eyes locked on Blossom, whose face still held puzzlement.

I could tell she was uneasy as she looked back and forth between my brother and me, but she didn’t need to be anymore. I’d marked her safe from Slash.

“T-There are two of you.” She pointed between the two of us. Hearing snickering behind me, I groaned internally, knowing the whole crew had followed me over here.

“Two of us indeed, mama.”

She fought the curves attempting to form at the corner of her lips. “What are you doing here, JJ?”

“The crew wanted to hit the water, so here we are.” I grinned, stuffing my hands in my pockets. I couldn’t help but pull my bottom lip between my teeth as I eyed her, causing her to blush under my stare and finally relax her face. “You look good as fuck, Bloss Baby, but I’m sure you know that.”

“Bloss Baby, you can do all that blushing shit later,” Stacy chimed in, embarrassing her friend.

“Why didn’t you tell me it was two of them?

Shit, I could’ve been having fun all this time, and you ain’t said a word.

Now that I think about it…” She looked back and forth between us as she tapped her chin.

“I knew you looked familiar when you came into the office, but I just couldn’t place it. ”

“One is a football player, and the other is a doctor,” Karlie spoke up as she stepped beside me. She was friendly, but very territorial over her family, especially Jax and me. “Flash is the star running back for the Milly Grove Reapers and—”

“That’s where I know your fine ass from.” Stacy pushed me out of the way and walked up on Jax. “Blossom got the company tickets last season, and when y’all blew out Dallas! They had to damn near pull you off the referee.”

“Nigga was cheating.” He shrugged his shoulders and smirked. Glancing around at his siblings, he gestured toward the jet skis. “Y’all come on, and let’s ride. We’re costing this man money.”

Stepping past us, my family, plus Stacy, suited up and hopped on a jet ski as Blossom and I kept our eyes on each other. Growing nervous under my stare, she wrapped her arms around herself and looked away.

“You know, you’re more than welcome to ride me.”

She squeaked out an “Excuse me,” looking around us to see if anyone else had heard. Shifting her gaze back to me, she started, “JJ—”
