Chapter 22 - Tyreek Jr #3
Groaning from the grip I had on her arm, she tried her best to wiggle from my hold, but it was no use. I was on one, and she was damn near on her way to an early grave herself.
“You need to calm down, please.” She peered up at me with scared eyes.
“Take a minute and look around. There isn’t anyone here.
” She gestured and nodded behind me. “We’d been working nonstop on the fire outside of town, and the office is closed for a few hours for everyone to regroup. Everyone is gone.”
Still not letting her go, I took a look around the lot and realized it was, in fact, empty. Snapping my eyes shut, I took a few deep breaths before finally letting her arm go. I was losing my grip on reality, and I needed to reel it in quickly.
“My bad.” I rubbed my hand down my face before blowing out a deep breath. “I’m just having a really fucked up day.” I picked up her bag from the ground, handing it to her. “My bad if I hurt you.”
“It’s fine.” She gave me a shaky smile. “You just need to relax a little. We can’t have you locked up if you want to get your little girlfriend away from my man.
” My jaw ticked at her comment, but I was going to play it cool.
She arched her brow at me before continuing.
“Matter of fact, I have a few minutes, if you want to talk.”
Although I wasn’t in the mood for conversation, I signaled toward my car and watched as she led the way.
I couldn’t help but zone in on the way her ass switched from left to right in her green scrubs.
If I wasn’t in a fucked up headspace, I would bend her ass over the hood of my car right here in the lot.
“So what’s up, Sheena?” I sighed, throwing my head back against the seat once we got inside my car. Lack of sleep was catching up to me, and my adrenaline was starting to wear off. “I got so much shit going on right now, and I don’t have time for any games.”
“Lucky for you, I don’t either.” She sassed, slamming her purse in her lap.
“Like I was telling you earlier, I spotted your bitch with my man on vacation in the Islands.” I turned my head toward her and watched as she began tapping away on her cell phone.
“At first, I thought it was a coincidence. You know, just a friendly meet and greet. Well, that was until he stepped down on me and made it clear that if I said anything to her, he’d kill and bury me there.
” A lone tear fell down her cheek as she spoke.
“Look at these and see just how cozy they were.”
Dragging my eyes from her to the phone in her extended hand, I grabbed it before saying a small prayer that I didn’t have to spazz out more than I already had. I guess God was done with me because with every picture I swiped through, I got more and more irate.
I shook my head in denial. “Nah. This shit ain’t real.”
“Oh, it’s very real.” She folded her arms and slid further into my passenger seat.
“At first, I thought the jet ski ride was harmless because the bitch was scary. After he threatened me that night, I didn’t think too much about it.
That was until this.” She leaned over, grabbed the phone, and handed it back to me.
“I followed him, and he led me right to a dinner date. That wasn’t all. ”
Tuning her out, I swiped picture after picture of this man wining and dining my girl. The way she smiled and looked at him with love in her eyes broke me. I didn’t think things could get any worse until the next few pictures knocked the wind out of me.
“What the fuck?!” I roared, causing my windows to rattle. “That nigga fucking my girl!”
Hearing the sniffles from the side of me, I pressed play on the video as moans filled my ride. Under the stars on the beach, I watched as JJ deep stroked my girl into bliss. The way her legs wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer to her, caused bile to rise in my throat.
“Tell me you love this dick, Bloss Baby. I’m about to nut all in this pussy.”
“Yessss, Papa! Fuck me!”
Shaking with anger, I threw the phone back at Sheena, not giving a fuck that I’d hit her in the face. All I could see was red, and I was going to make someone feel me, even if it had to be her.
“Ouch, nigga!” she screamed from beside me, wiping the blood from her mouth. “Wait?” She sat up in her seat, looking around frantically as I put the car in drive and sped from the lot. “Where the fuck are you going?! Let me out, TJ!”
Ignoring her cries, I dialed Blossom’s number and was pissed when she didn’t answer.
How dare she cheat on me? How dare she give away what belonged to me?
And to give it to the nigga I hated more than anything in the world was the biggest crime of all.
I let the hot tears fall as my vision blurred while I drove like a madman through the city. JJ had tried me one too many times.
“I’m calling the police!” Sheena screeched as I dipped in and out of oncoming traffic. Horns blared as I ran through several lights, but I didn’t care. “Let me out before you kill us both!”
Gripping the back of her head, I slammed her forehead into the dashboard, shutting her up as blood sprayed all over the place.
“Shut the fuck up before I kill your ass too! Had you not shown me that shit, you wouldn’t be in this predicament!
Now, shut your fuckin’ mouth before you end up on a slab at your job, bitch! ”
I knew where the McKnights lived, but there was no way I could gain access to their properties without dying in the process. I didn’t know where any of them were right now, but I knew one thing that was for sure.
Someone from the McKnight family was about to feel me.
Zooming into the parking lot of Karlie’s wellness center, I glared menacingly at the prestigious building. My cousin never acknowledged me. She always treated me like I wasn’t shit to her, and now it was time to return the favor.
“What are you—Ah! TJ, wait!”
Reaching into the backseat, I grabbed the automatic rifle before I climbed out of my car. Since this family wanted a war, it was time I showed them that I had nothing left to live for and was ready to fire back.
“Fuck all you bitches!” I screamed as I aimed the gun at the building. “I hope you all die!”
Letting the gun spray bullets into the building, I imagined each bullet hitting JJ.
This place was always busy with patients and clients, but I didn’t care who I hit.
With one hundred rounds of ammo in the gun, I hoped I would kill them all.
I wished someone related to the McKnights or who was one would be inside.
Just the thought had my fingers squeezing the trigger tighter.
“Oh my god!” Sheena screamed from behind. “Noooo! Stop! Please!”
Turning toward her, I aimed the rifle and shot some bullets into her too. I watched as her body jerked before she hit the ground. Blood seeped from her lifeless body, but I didn’t feel an ounce of remorse.
“Stupid bitch.” I hissed, spitting on her as I walked by. I could hear the sirens in the distance, and I needed to leave now if I didn’t want to get arrested. “Don’t worry, that bitch-ass nigga will be joining you soon. You and Blossom can fight over that nigga in hell.”
Taking one last look at the bullet-riddled building, I thought I would feel better.
I thought I would feel some type of vindication from what I’d done, but I didn’t.
I still felt hurt and angry, and I knew the only thing that would ease my mind was watching JJ and his father take their last breaths.
Soon.
