Chapter 30 - Jaseon Jr #2

TJ may have thought he was a step ahead of me, but I always had the upper hand.

From the day he met the white girl, Sara, to the moment he killed her at his hotel, to him watching us across the street from the salon, I knew his every move.

I had to be strategic about how I maneuvered to get rid of him.

When he watched me leave the parking lot of the hair salon, I had eyes on him as I doubled back and slid into the back of Sara’s old-ass Honda.

I wanted to go in Dai’s shop and air that muthafucka out, but I didn’t want to fall out with my boy, Mayhem.

It was bad enough that I told him to send me the bill for all the damage TJ had caused.

Blossom called me while I was on the way to the warehouse to tell me what had happened but assured me she was okay.

I told her I had business to handle, I loved her, and that I would see her later.

“I-I love her, and you took her from me,” TJ spoke weakly. I could tell he was losing consciousness, and that’s not what I wanted. If he was going to pass out, I could just kill him and go on about my night. “Everyone I loved in my life, you guys took them from me.”

“Boo-fuckin’-hoo, nigga,” I mocked him while picking up my scalpel to remove his left lung. It took me a few minutes to cut through the tissues and vessels, but I finally had it removed. Holding it up for him to see, I allowed the fluids to drip onto his face before turning to show my audience.

“What the fuck?” My father jumped back, tripping over my Uncle Amir. “JJ, get that shit away from me, nigga! That’s a fuckin’ lung.”

Smiling at his reaction, I kicked the locks on the slab’s wheels and pushed it across the room. Ignoring the guys around me as they shrilled about the open body, I glanced down at TJ. He was slowly fading, but that was fine; the show was almost over.

“Wake up, nigga!” I slapped his face with his lung a few times. “I have one more surprise for you.”

Lifting the slab, I pressed the button to the left of me and watched as the floor in the middle of the room opened. A small pool bubbled beneath us, and I couldn’t help but smirk. This was truly a full-circle moment.

“What are you about to do to me?” he whimpered as his eyes rolled toward the water. “Don’t drown me. Please.”

“For once in your life, be a man.” I mugged him as I hovered.

“From what I hear, when your father died, he screamed like a bitch. Come to think of it, your mother did too. I sliced that fat bitch from ear to ass with a smile on my face.” I grinned as I pulled Kimbo from my back.

“You want to see a magic trick?” I wiggled my brows, holding up his lung over the pool. “This is some cool-ass shit.”

Holding the lung above the water, I used my blade, slicing it down the middle.

Once the blood and fluid hit the water, a school of vicious piranha reared their ugly heads.

Snapping sounds filled the room, and it didn’t take long for TJ to catch on.

Dropping the organ into the pool, it didn’t take long before the brutal fish gathered around and tore it apart.

“No! No!” He found the strength to yell but couldn’t move. “I’ll leave town and never come back! I will never bother Blossom or your family again!”

“Oh, I know.” I nodded for Marshall to help me lift the slab.

“Blossom will rest at night knowing you or her brother will ever come near her again. You always wanted to know about your father and the way he died, right? Tell that pussy-ass nigga to give you the full disclaimer in hell. Kiss your mammy for me, bitch.”

“Ahhhhh!!!” His screams made my heart cry tears of utter joy as we dumped his butchered and bloodied body into the water. The blue waves turned crimson in a flash as I stepped back and watched the fish tear his body apart in seconds.

“A child reunited with his parents.” I nodded, turning toward my boy, who just eyed me in shock. “I’m really out here doing God’s work.”

Facing my father and uncles, they said nothing as they looked into the pool before dragging their eyes back to me. For a moment, we all just stared; that was until Jaseon spoke.

“You know, I want to apologize for thinking at the big age you are that I could fuck with you. I always thought you were your daddy’s son, but you’re much worse.

” Taking slow steps back, he held his hands up in surrender as he eased toward the exit.

“You got it, baby boy. I can’t compete where I don’t compare. ”

Saying nothing else, he was out of the door in an instant. I couldn’t help the laughter that came from me as I began to dispose of my attire. With TJ out of the way and Roman living in his karma, I could finally worry about what really mattered.

Blossom.

She didn’t know she was packing her shit up at Stacy’s and bringing her ass back to my crib, which was her new home until she found us another. I wanted my pussy in my own bed, tonight and in the morning.

The house was quiet when I entered, a little too quiet for a place of safety.

It took me no time to disable the alarm before I crept through the house with ease.

The light from the moon was the only thing that was helping me navigate.

I was tired, but tonight’s events had me restless.

The only thing that would settle me and put me at ease was having my baby in my arms.

As I made it through the living room and down the hallway, I took note of how nice it looked.

The house was a small, two-bedroom domain, and the entire layout was cozy and clean.

It smelled of freshly squeezed lemons and clean linen, with nothing out of place.

I didn’t expect anything less from Stacy.

Passing a room on the right, I didn’t bother to peek inside because there wasn’t a pull.

I knew it was Stacy’s, and she wasn’t the reason I was here.

As I approached the last door on the left, I began to feel heavy.

My heart was pounding so loudly that I feared it would wake and scare the girls.

Placing my hand on the knob, I placed my head on the door, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath before slowly turning the knob and easing inside.

Stepping into the dimly lit room, my eyes found Blossom’s small frame instantly.

Curled up in a ball in the middle of the bed, she looked so small and innocent.

I smirked at the thought because my baby was a ball of fucking fire.

The moonlight against her skin gave her a silhouette of an angel.

Her soft snores were melodic to my ears.

“Papa.” I stiffened as she called out subconsciously to me in her sleep. “I love you.”

My chest tightened as I sat at the edge of the bed, just watching her sleep.

I trailed my finger down her arm as I watched the rise and fall of her chest. Her brows furrowed as she slept, and her face carried so much worry.

She appeared to have the weight of the world on her shoulders, and all I wanted was to lift and carry it for her.

Sighing heavily, I rubbed my hand down my face, exhausted from the chaos.

“I don’t think you know how much I love you, Blossom.

” I dropped my head, speaking quietly so I wouldn’t wake her.

“From the moment I saw you under that light pole, I knew you would change my life.” Cackling internally, I couldn’t help but smile.

“I just didn’t know in what capacity. The way you came into my life and had me eating out of the palm of your hand needs to be studied.

Your heart is too pure for this world. You give out grace where it shouldn’t be.

Your brother, your ex… They didn’t deserve your love and loyalty, but you, being the person that you are, gave it with hopes it would be reciprocated.

That was what pissed me off the most, but also what made me love you even more.

I wanted to kill them both, but your heart wouldn’t allow it.

“I will never let anyone play with you, Bloss Baby. I wanted to kill your brother and bury him in the deepest, darkest jungle to never be found. My love for you was stronger than my hate for him.”

I shook my head in disbelief. This girl really had me professing my love for her in a dark-ass room like a simp. I’d be that for her, though.

“I kept him alive because I wanted to give you the option of still dealing with him. Just know, he will never speak or be able to hurt you ever again. Same with TJ, but to a different extent. I did what I had to do for your safety and my sanity. What he did to my sister…” I sighed heavily, standing from the bed.

“And how he threatened you today, I couldn’t take it.

I don’t regret it, and I won’t apologize for it.

I will never apologize for keeping you safe.

I love the fuck out of you, and I want to spend the rest of my days on earth showing you how much. ”

“I love you too, Papa.” I spun around and locked eyes with Blossom as she sat up in bed. The tears in her eyes gleamed through the darkness. I sat still as I watched her. “I love you so much.” She looked around the room in confusion. “How did you get in here?”

“I broke in,” I answered honestly. “Tell me that you forgive me,” I demanded as I stood from the bed and stared down at her. “Tell me that despite what I’ve done, we can be together.”

Smiling as tears ran down her cheeks, I watched as she stood on her tiptoes to kiss my lips.

“JJ, I wouldn’t be honest with myself if I didn’t tell you how much I love and adore you.

The way you protect me is something I’ve never experienced in my life.

I may not agree with the things you do, but I know they come from a good place.

” She searched my eyes before dropping hers. “Just promise me one thing…”

“Anything,” I answered immediately, lifting her chin and bringing her peepers back to mine. “Whatever you want is yours.”

“Be safe,” she stated meekly. “Promise me that at the end of the day, you will come home to me. To us.”

Frowning in confusion, I eyed her suspiciously until she grabbed my hand and placed it on her abdomen. Before I could ask her what she was implying, my eyes bulged from the realization. Snatching my hand back, I stumbled backward into the dresser, knocking the contents over.

“Y-You’re pregnant?” I stammered, looking back and forth between her stomach and face. “You’re having my baby?”

“Yes.” She nodded, tears flowing. “I’m pregnant—Ahhh!”

Scooping her up in my arms, I was careful as I hugged and kissed her all over. I had never been this happy and excited in my entire life. The love I had for her in this moment was something I never thought I would feel, and it was a feeling I never wanted to leave.

“Get your shit and let’s go.” I held her in my arms as I searched for her things. “We’re going home, right now.”

Boom!

“What the hell is going on?” Stacy burst into the room, titties swinging and rollers all over her head. “Put my damn friend down!”

“Stace, I appreciate the way you’ve looked out for my girl and baby, but I’m about to take her home and fuck the shit out of her.” I found Blossom’s keys, phone, and grabbed her a coat. “She will come back and get her shit later. Move.”

Pushing past Stacy, she cussed me the hell out as Blossom cried with laughter. There was no way I was waiting until the morning to start forever with my girl.

Forever was now.

“Are you sure this is what you want?” Blossom asked as I got her settled inside my truck. “I don’t want to pressure you into anything, JJ. I know this seems sudden, but—”

“Baby, listen to me.” I knelt before her, palming her face, while kissing her lips repeatedly.

“I love you with my soul, Bloss. There’s nothing more I want in the world than to be with you.

I choose you.” I dropped down and kissed her nonexistent belly.

“I choose this baby. I choose a life with you both a thousand times.”

“Ok.” She smiled and sniffled. “Ok, baby. Take me home.”

Smiling, I fought through my own tears as I ran over to the driver’s side.

The day had been heavy, but it ended in the best possible way.

I never thought this kind of love would be in the cards for me.

Now that I had it, my life would never go back to what it was before Blossom.

I was vowing to show her daily that she made the right choice by choosing me to spend the rest of her life with.

Damn, I can’t wait to tell Jaseon and Breonna they’re about to be grandparents.
