Chapter 5

Chapter Five

North

Omyia was different. She wanted a nigga at his highest rather than on his knees as a slave to the streets.

I liked that about her, but then again it was a burden that a nigga didn’t know if he could bear.

Yeah, I stepped away from the streets but at some point, if things ever went wild for my brother, I’d be stepping back in.

Omyia was the type of female that made a nigga want better with her and I knew that much just from talking to her.

The fact that her pops was who he was, and Knoxx was her brother was enough to convince me of why she thought the way she did.

We had even conversed about her baby daddy and his impending situation, that was fucked up no matter how you put it.

I didn’t know much about the nigga other than the street shit, but the way she put it was fucked up.

I’ve never talked to a female as much as I talk to shorty, I mean yeah, my sister but that didn’t count.

She had me really out here getting to know her, and I enjoyed it.

I don’t know it that was a good or bad thing at this point, because I actually enjoyed her conversation and presence.

By now most females would’ve said or done some dumb shit to be on my shit list, but not her.

She had a good head on her shoulders and unlike most women she knew her worth.

I admired that and it attracted me to her more.

With my head back hanging off the office chair and my eyes closed I tried to focus on the head in my lap.

I couldn’t though. I couldn’t because it was something about the female that I had yet to share a bed or real intimate space with that had a nigga straight up stuck.

I couldn’t say her presence was enough because it wasn’t even that.

It was her fucking soul. I imagined it to be just as beautiful as she and I felt like I needed to get as close to it as possible.

I was in no rush, because I wasn’t looking to be tied down or forced to make any promises that I couldn’t keep.

The fucked up thing is even knowing that I still can’t leave her alone. I couldn’t commit to moving around.

I kissed my teeth when I felt my dick hit the back of Toya’s throat.

Usually, her head game could ease even the deepest of thoughts, but right now her shit was subpar.

I guess it’s because I didn’t even want to be fucking with her right now, but I didn’t have the time to break another bitch’s jaws in.

Contrary to popular beliefs I didn’t keep a plethora of bitches or any of that because that shit could be time consuming.

Females liked to believe they had more with a nigga then they did.

Besides Toya, I messed with this female named Santi, but unlike Toya she knew how to keep it moving and stay out of my face for the most part.

I mean at the end of the day we both got something out of this, it wasn’t like I was out here playing with their heads and using them.

“Are you not enjoying it?”

In one swift movement my semi hard dick was no longer in her mouth, and she was looking at me for an answer.

“Nah, I ain’t.” I was an honest nigga so there was no room for me to lie.

She nodded her head, “I can fix that.” She got up off her knees and went to unzip her skirt.

I looked around her office before shaking my head. “Nah, I got something to handle.” I stood up and walked into her office bathroom to clean myself up.

“Something or someone?” I could hear the attitude in her tone.

Shaking my head, I finished getting myself together and walked back into her office. “Speaking of, stop telling people you’re my girl. You know what this is.”

She looked confused, but quickly recovered. “The bitch at the candle shop, huh?”

“Don’t call her no bitch. She ain’t done shit to you.”

She laughed. “Except fuck you. Damn she works fast. Is she the reason for what just happened here?”

“Nah that’s on you.”

“On me? What did I do for you to keep feeling like it’s alright for you to embarrass me like this? What have I done to you?” She beat her chest and her voice carried with each word.

“Cut it the fuck out, Toy. You knew it was never anything with us like that. We’ve fucked around for a long time, and I’ve even given you liberties that I’d never give another, but let’s not get this shit twisted.”

“What liberties, North? Being around your sister? Coming to your place and al—”

“You may as well cut this shit out because you’ve known what this was with us for years and I ain’t never forced you into anything. If you don’t wanna fuck with me like that then cool. I ain’t begging you to do shit that you don’t want to do.”

With that I left, because I wasn’t about to go back and forth with her about his stupid shit. Especially not when I had to pick Niema up. Shorty would be on her bullshit if there was even a chance that I’d be late picking her up.

When I finally reached my car, I pulled my phone out to call my stupid ass brother. He called me earlier, but I told him I’d hit him back. I anticipated getting some head and being out of there, but that didn’t go as planned.

“You know I could’ve been in some shit while you’re out here sending me to voicemail and sending me generic ass can I call you later texts.”

I laughed. “But you’re on the line with me right now, so you're good.”

“No thanks to you, but I was about to spin the block on that lil’ bobble head ass girl who put Niema out of her ride.”

I chuckled. “You and I both, but she’s good. We’re going half and half to get her something, and for the time being she has a driver if you or I can’t take her.”

“I fuck with it. Where are you headed right now?”

“To pick her up from work,” I responded, pulling out of the underground parking garage.

“Where are you coming from?”

“Damn, you the feds?” A chuckle escaped my lips.

“Nah. I’m ya fucking brother and you dead ass went missing on me earlier.”

“Ain’t shit to worry about, shorty wasted my fucking time.” I mugged the air just thinking about Toy and her bullshit.

My brother and I chopped it up for the remainder of my drive, then he had to go when I was pulling into the parking lot of Ommy’s shop.

I parked and looked up just in time to see her standing near her register.

I wasn’t even about to get out of the car but seeing her had me turning my truck off and hopping out.

When I walked into the spot a strong aroma hit my nose.

It had a few sweet nodes, but it wasn’t over the top, I was willing to bet it was sweet caramel or something of that nature.

By now Omyia had her back to me and she was oblivious as to who had walked in the shop.

It took everything in me not to walk up and hug her backside like she belonged to me, but we weren’t like that just yet.

Patience, nigga. I awaited the day that I was familiar with every curve on her body, but until then I’d suffer in fucking silence.

“You know when I asked you when you were free today, I expected a response of some sort and not some fucking reaction to my message.”

Upon hearing my voice, she immediately turned around and we locked eyes. Of course, my eyes couldn’t rest on her face alone. I had to take her in. All of her.

Today she had her hair pulled up into one of those scarfs on top of her head while a few curls drooped down onto her forehead.

She had a pair of those Dahmer glasses, and minimal makeup on her face.

I knew that, because her freckles were on full fucking display, and I loved that shit.

I couldn’t help but allow my eyes to travel lower.

She had on a pair of overalls and a royal blue tank top under it.

I only knew that much because her left overall was unhooked and hanging like a tail.

Then on her feet she wore a pair of patent leather blue tinted Doc Martens.

I couldn’t help but nod my head in appreciation, because her style was artistic and sexy as fuck.

“You might wanna take a picture. I’m sure it’ll last longer.”

I blinked a few times and walked up closer to her. “But it won’t, because I intend to look at you as long as I possibly can.”

She giggled. “Hello to you too, North.”

“Don’t hello me, especially when you didn’t hit me up.” By now I was so close to her that I could smell the sweet fragrance that she was wearing. I expected her to back up and or look away, but she didn’t.

“I did respond. I questioned what you had in mind. So, if we’re beefing it’s because you didn’t respond to me.” She lightly poked me in my chest. Then she turned and went around the counter.

“Bullshit.”

“I accept your apology.” She winked at me with a big ass smile on her face.

I didn’t respond. I just shook my head.

“But what did you have in mind?” By now she was leaning on the empty counter looking in my direction. “I mean that is if you’re still free.”

“Food and maybe a movie? Something along those corny ass lines.” I was dead ass serious. This shit was new to me, because I had never attempted to ever date a female to get to know her.

She laughed. “Theater, or does that big ass house of yours have a theater room?”

“Whichever you prefer.”

She shook her head. “I don’t feel like being around too many people, so your theater will do.”

Finally, a woman after my own fucking heart. I rarely felt like dealing with people, so I knew exactly what she meant. “What time do you close?”

“Eight, but I’m leaving in a few to situate my son with my father. My closer is in the back.”

I nodded. I was about to say something else, but my sister walking from the back room of the store interrupted me.

“Nor, why didn’t you call me and tell me you were out here? I’ve been sitting back there waiting for you for the last fifteen minutes.”

Omyia laughed.

“Oh, I get it. You’ve been up here harassing my boss.” My sister smirked and walked right past me. “See you Friday, Ommy.”
