Chapter 21

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

Nick

As much as I wanted to bury myself in Matt, there was a little voice in the back of my head that told me I had to take it slow with him. There was a hunger in his eyes, but what he was going through was traumatic. If I broke Matt, JJ would kick my ass.

Matt showered first, and I went after. He’d pouted slightly when I’d told him it would be best if we took them alone. Once we were in bed, I pulled him to me and kissed him until his eyes drooped.

“I want you, Nick.”

“I thought you hated me.”

“I’ve been known to make mistakes.”

I chuckled. “As much as I want to fuck you into tomorrow, I won’t take advantage of you.”

He jolted his head back. “How are you taking advantage of me? I’m not drunk, I loved what we did on the couch, and I’m in my bed with you, both of us only in boxers. I’m well aware of what’s happening here.”

I cupped Matt’s face, pulled him to me, and gently kissed his lips. “What you’re going through, it’s traumatic.”

He sighed but fortunately didn’t move. “I’m not sure traumatic is the right word. Annoying, frustrating, a bit unnerving, those are words I’d use to describe what’s going on. I’m not in a pit of trauma because of it, though.”

I wouldn’t invalidate what Matt was telling me, so I jumped to another question. “Do you have condoms?”

Matt opened his mouth, then closed it. “Actually, no. You?”

I shook my head. “I wasn’t expecting any of this tonight.”

He seemed to deflate, sad that this night wouldn’t be going in the direction he’d wanted. I didn’t like seeing him upset, so I slid my finger over his chest.

“There are other things we can do.”

He pushed away slightly, allowing my finger to travel south. “Like?”

At the waistband of his boxers, I dipped inside. He was so hard. “Like I can suck you.”

“Only if I can suck you too.”

Rubbing his cock, I grinned at his moan. “We can do it together.” I slid his boxers down with one hand, keeping my other on his cock.

“Yes,” he breathed out when I squeezed him tighter.

“Get on top and give me that beautiful dick.” I tossed my own boxers off.

Matt scrambled so fast, for a brief moment he was tangled in the sheets. I laughed as he cursed the fabric, but in no time at all, we were in the perfect position. His cock was right where I wanted it, and the second Matt licked my crown, I swore I died and went to heaven.

I pulled Matt down by his ass until his tip touched my lips, and then I opened and swallowed him whole. I laughed when he faltered in his sucking.

Sixty-nine was a great position—only problem with it was that the moment you were close to coming, concentrating was difficult. I could feel my orgasm fluttering through, my balls tightening. He was a fucking god at blowjobs.

I needed him to come with me. Strange, because who cared who went first? But something about this had to be us, together.

I doubled my efforts while trying to hold back my orgasm—I was seconds away from coming. I separated his ass cheeks and tapped on his hole as I sucked him to the root.

“Fuck!” Matt shouted and he was coming in my mouth; it was all exactly what I craved.

My orgasm rushed through me and Matt covered my dick, taking every drop of me.

Matt slid to the right, his dick slipping out of my mouth. He kept his head resting on my thigh as we tried to catch our breaths.

“Wow,” he said, and I laughed.

“We’re good at this.”

He chuckled and met my gaze. “Wait until your cock is inside me.”

Said dick gave a twitch, and Matt snickered. “Down, boy.”

“Get up here.”

He crawled up, and as soon as his face was in front of me I kissed him, licking into his mouth, tasting each other and moaning. It had been a night of surprises with Matt, and all I knew as he settled beside me and fell asleep was that I hoped it was just the beginning.

We were awoken by knocking and Matt’s cell phone announcing someone was at his door. He grabbed it and clicked the app.

“Darnell.” His voice was all raspy from sleep, and I wanted very much to pull the covers over our heads and drown the world out.

“He should have called first.”

Matt chuckled. “He did, and texted. It’s almost eleven.” Matt hit a button on the phone, unmuting the microphone. “Be right there, Darnell.”

He pulled the comforter off, and I watched with greedy eyes as he walked his naked self to his dresser. I made no attempts to look away. He turned as he pulled on a shirt and sweats.

“You’re staring.”

I winked and sat up. “Unapologetically.”

He laughed as he left the room. I didn’t hurry to follow, unsure if Matt would want Darnell knowing I was here.

I’d wondered when Darnell had shown up the other day with a big-ass bear and stayed if they were seeing each other. After last night, I felt good about that being false.

I dressed and listened by the bedroom door.

“You feelin’ okay?” Darnell asked.

“Yeah, sorry. I needed a good sleep. I had my phone on vibrate and it was on the floor, so I didn’t hear your calls or texts.” There was a sound of cabinets opening.

“What are you up to today?”

“I do very little on Sundays if I can help it,” Matt joked.

Was he going to tell Darnell he had a visitor? I wished he would, but I wasn’t going to be one of those people who moseyed on out and staked my claim.

“Want to go to a movie?”

Matt made a grunting, groaning noise. “I can’t today, maybe next weekend?”

“Uh-huh, I thought you said you weren’t doing anything today. How can you not be able to go to a movie?”

“Well…” The sudden aroma of coffee tickled my nose, and yeah, he’d better tell him, because I wanted fucking coffee. “I have company, actually.”

“You have…oh, oh, my God.” Darnell lowered his voice, but I could still hear him. “Like in your room, right now?”

Matt chuckled. “Yeah.”

“Why didn’t you tell me that? I can go.”

“Nah, stay. You know him, anyway.”

“I do…who…you didn’t get back with Tony, did you?”

“Fuck, no!”

I took that as my cue to leave the bedroom. I ran my fingers through my hair and walked along the hallway. Darnell was sitting at the table, and Matt was leaning on the counter. Both men looked at me as I entered.

“Nick Saint.” Darnell grinned. “This shouldn’t surprise me.”

“Why shouldn’t it surprise you?” Matt wondered as he pulled three mugs out of his cabinet.

“The Alibi that time…yeah, there were sparks.”

Matt rolled his eyes, but I merely smirked and sat at the table across from Darnell. “Matt’s a hard man to tie down.”

“Pardon you?” Matt placed a mug filled with magic nectar, followed by sugar and cream.

“Kidding.” I clutched my coffee so he wouldn’t take it away.

“I approve.” Darnell sipped his coffee, a happy expression on his face.

“Don’t go ordering wedding invitations.” Matt went to grab his own mug and joined us. “What Nick and I are or are not is for us to decide. And it’s too early for that conversation.”

“It’s almost noon.” Darnell’s brows rose.

“Shut up and drink your coffee.” Matt huffed as he took a sip.

I found myself wondering if Darnell was genuinely happy for his friend, or if it was all a show to make Matt think he was. Was Darnell his stalker? One thing I knew was, I’d find out for sure.
