Chapter 9
“Is that a new toilet?” Iskyiah’s head tilted to the side as she looked at the porcelain throne.
Literally, it looked like it was fit for a king with gold flecks through the white marble.
Moolah had just stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. His gaze landed on the toilet, and to Iskyiah’s surprise, a wide grin spread across his face.
He looked at it with a wicked expression for several long moments while Iskyiah looked at him like he was insane. “Lah?”
“Huh? Ah, yeah. It’s new. Had it installed while you were out with lil mama.” He grabbed at the back of his neck as he spoke, as if he had been caught red-handed doing something he wasn’t supposed to.
“Uh, okay,” Iskyiah said slowly. “Anyway, you better hurry up, baby. We’re gonna be late.”
Iskyiah busied herself fixing her already perfect hair in the large mirror on the wall.
It had been two weeks since she first stepped foot in this monstrosity of a house, and she hadn’t left since.
She tried to be one of those women who played it tough and acted like they didn’t want to be spoiled in this way, but Iskyiah had been tired.
She had been needing a break. Yes, she loved flying and being a flight attendant, but that didn’t mean she needed to do it to give herself purpose in life.
Moolah insisted that she take time off and focus on being a mom, and she didn’t put up too much of a fight.
The past couple of weeks had been amazing for her. Moolah had pampered her, she’d been able to spend more time with Brooke, and she’d been getting the best dick of her life. Iskyiah had zero complaints.
Other than leaving the house for nail, hair, and spa appointments, Iskyiah had been happily spending her days in Moolah’s home. Tonight, though, was different. Moolah’s birthday was the following day, and they were going to bring it in with all their loved ones.
After he dried off, Moolah slid behind her and held her close. “You look beautiful.” He squinted his eyes before he reached around and fingered her necklace. “This the one I got you way back when?”
She beamed. It was the exact necklace he got her way back when. “I never got rid of it.”
Moolah tried not to smile as he nuzzled her neck. “You really love me, huh?”
“Pretty much always have. I was just too scared to admit it. I didn’t want to lose my best friend.”
“You ain’t ever gotta worry about losing me.”
Iskyiah’s brown skin warmed. “I know that now, baby.”
“You know how long I’ve waited to hear you say that?”
She giggled. “I been calling you that for the past couple of weeks.”
“And I won’t ever get tired of hearing it.” He kissed her neck.
Iskyiah moaned. “Come on, Lah, or we won’t make it to your party.”
“Fuck that party.”
“Lah . . .”
He cupped her breasts before he slid his hand down her middle and straight to her pussy. She wore a blue one piece that melted to her body and made Moolah’s dick hard.
“You lucky you got this shit on. I can’t get it off.” He tugged on the fabric, and she turned around in his embrace. He scooped her up and dropped her on the counter.
“Baby, come on.” She groaned as he kissed her neck. He grunted in response, and Iskyiah knew he wouldn’t come up off her until she gave him something.
So, she slid off the counter and adjusted their position while dropping his towel to the ground.
When she slid down to her knees, he grinned. “You want me to fuck up that makeup I paid three hundred dollars for?”
“I’m a pro, love. Just relax,” she coached before she sucked his dick straight down her throat.
She grinned with a mouth full of dick as he gripped the marble counter.
Gently, she massaged his balls as she relaxed her throat and took all of him.
It was quick work making him cum, and after she swallowed, she stood up.
Moolah grabbed her silky hair and tilted her head.
“You really just gonna do me like that and think I ain’t gonna climb up in some pussy? ”
“Yes.” She looked up at him innocently.
Moolah clenched his jaw. “We spendin’ an hour at this shit . . . tops. I didn’t even want this party. Tey’s ass always goes overboard.”
“I can’t wait to see her,” Iskyiah said as she turned around and checked her makeup out in the mirror. Not a smudge in sight.
Moolah slapped her ass before he disappeared into the bedroom. “Keep that shit wet for me.”
Iskyiah rolled her eyes with a broad smile.
She’d honestly never knew sex could be so good.
Charles was her first, and he never really cared about her pleasure.
Any man that followed pretty much fell into the same boat.
Moolah was the only one who ever took his time to learn her body and held out until she came multiple times.
Because of his attentiveness to her, it made her freak turn all the way up.
After brushing her teeth and rinsing with mouthwash, she was ready. She walked out of the bathroom, grabbed her clutch and heels, and rushed out of the room before Moolah could get his hands on her again. If he did, she wasn’t sure she’d be able to resist.
After the first week in his home, Iskyiah finally learned her way around, so she made it to the kitchen easily.
Brooke sat at the center island eating some damn crab legs Moolah had ordered for her, while Sandy, the white woman Moolah hired to babysit tonight, mixed some batter for what looked like chocolate chip cookies.
“How’s it going?” Iskyiah kissed the top of Brooke’s head.
“Good. Want some?” She held a buttery crab leg to Iskyiah, who shook her head.
“That’s all you, bookie. They good?”
Brooke nodded while Sandy replied. “She’s been raving about them since she started eating. You look hot, by the way.” Sandy winked as Iskyiah sat down next to Brooke.
“Thanks. Did you want anything to eat?”
Sandy waved her off. “I ate before I came. Besides, I’m sure I’ll be full of cookies before the night is over.”
Iskyiah sat down there and made small talk with Sandy and Brooke until Moolah was ready. She smelled him before she heard him come into the kitchen. His signature cologne wasn’t one she’d ever smelled before, but she was now addicted to it. It smelled clean and expensive.
Sandy’s blue eyes widened and she blushed just before Iskyiah felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned and grinned up at Moolah, who looked like a million bucks.
“You ready, my baby?” Moolah asked.
Iskyiah nodded as she took him in. He matched her fly with a blue button-up and black pants. His sleeves were rolled up, exposing his tattoos, and his beard and hair had been freshly lined up.
Swallowing down the lust, Iskyiah nodded and stood. “Brooke, be good, baby. We’ll see you in the morning.”
She kissed Brooke once again and watched as Moolah whispered something in her daughter’s ear.
Brooke giggled, and he kissed her head. Iskyiah suddenly had the urge to cry.
Other than Hassan, she’d never had the pleasure of seeing a man take on a fatherly role with Brooke.
Moolah didn’t know how much she appreciated him for that alone.
Of course, he still said the most off-the-wall things around her and didn’t sugarcoat anything, but Iskyiah thought maybe that was good for Brooke.
Her grandmother had been the same way, though extremely religious, but Iskyiah turned out pretty okay.
Moolah took Iskyiah’s hand and walked her to the front door. When they made it outside, their car was already waiting for him.
“All those cars in that garage, and you stay getting driven around,” Iskyiah teased as he opened the door for her.
He slid in beside her and nodded at the driver. As they pulled out of the long driveway, he said, “I only do that when I’m wit’ you so I can touch on you more.”
When he grinned at her devilishly, his dimples showed, and she melted into the seat.
“How did we end up here?” she asked in awe. Never in a million years did she think she would end up with Moolah Brooks, yet here she was.
Moolah shrugged. “Fate, my baby. It was always meant to be this way. Yo’ stubborn ass just ain’t see it.”
“I see it now,” she admitted.
He grasped her hand on the seat between them and gave it a squeeze. “You mean that?”
She did. She meant it with every fiber of her being. Moolah was it for her. He had always been it for her.
“I do.”
“Aight. Be ready to say those two words again soon.”
She giggled and shook her head, but truthfully, she would love to marry Moolah. Her heart settled when she was with him, and she felt more secure than she ever had. It was a no-brainer.
They sat in comfortable silence the entire ride to the venue. Teyanna had apparently rented out an upscale club for the night. It had been years since Iskyiah went to a club, but she had a feeling it would be a different experience than what she was used to.
When they pulled up to the spot, she knew she was right. First of all, there were nothing but luxury cars lined up for the valet line and parked on the streets. The people she caught glimpses of were dressed to the nines, but they weren’t flashy. Money was in the air—she could smell it.
Their car stopped, and Moolah hopped out before he helped her out.
“This is a damn spectacle,” he muttered.
Iskyiah had to cover her mouth to mask her laugh. Moolah had been so grumpy about this entire shindig for the past week, but something told her he would have fun.
They easily made their way into the club. Security must had told the DJ that Moolah had arrived because he shouted into the mic as soon as they were inside.
“Moolah Brooks is in the house. Y’all, make sure you show him love!”
Iskyiah marveled at how he moved through the room. It was crowded, and everyone knew who Moolah was. Not only that, but they also dealt with him with the utmost respect. Some people even bowed to him. It was wild. He held her hand the entire time and made sure she stayed next to him.
