FOR THE SAKE OF THE BUMP
Breaking News: Guess who’s just touched down in Istanbul? That’s right, folks, rockstar sensation Kaan has landed, and the rumours are swirling faster than a dervish in full spin.
Word on the street is that Miz Meg Martin, has finally reached her breaking point and walked out on her husband. That’s right, folks, it looks like the cracks in their rockstar romance have finally split wide open, and Miz Martin’s had enough. And you might recall I did mention a baby bump not too long ago. If that little rumour holds true then Miz Martin’s sudden departure is all the more shocking. If she’s decided to walk away now, with a baby possibly on the way, then you know things have really gone off the rails.
What do you think? Is his sudden arrival in Istanbul nothing more than a last-ditch, desperate attempt to win back his wife before it’s too late? Or are we all about to witness the slow-motion train wreck of their love story crashing and burning in real-time, right here in the city where it all began?
I'm Pippa Ellis, and this is Fame and No-Sense—where we serve the juiciest rumours with a twist of lime!

I return to the party with Kaan in tow, and the moment we step through the door, Saffy’s eyes zero in on him. Her face lights up with surprise and excitement, her mouth dropping open before she lets out high-pitched squeal that bounces off the walls. In the blink of an eye, she’s across the room, practically launching herself at Kaan. “Oh my God! Kaan!”
As Kaan tries to detach Saffy from his body, he calls out for help with a touch of humour. “Can someone lend a hand… or two… please?”
Valentina’s voice cuts through the chatter like a whip, “Saffron Valentina Werrington! Step away from that man this instant!”
“It’s Kaan!” Saffy twists her head to respond to her mother but keeps her grip firmly on my husband. “Remember? I went to his concert!”
“I do not remember, nor do I care,” Valentina replies with icy precision. “A lady does not behave in such a manner.”
Undeterred Saffy laughs loudly, and looks up at Kaan with a playful glint in her eyes. “I’m no lady.”
Kaan can’t help but chuckle at her audacity. “I can see that.”
I’m reminded of the day Ginny first met Kaan. She had to be practically dragged away from him, and now she’s doing the same thing to her half-sister. “Come on, Saffy. Give Kaan some space.”
Ginny wraps her arms around Kaan in a warm embrace. “Great to see you again.”
Kaan returns the hug with a genuine smile. “You too.”
“Listen, Saffy would love to stay and chat but she’s got a situation evolving and she needs to speak with her mother.”
“Not now, Ginny.” Saffy pouts at her sister. “I want to talk to Kaan. Or at least take some photos of us together!”
“Now!” Ginny shakes her head. “And for feck’s sake, I told you to ditch that phone!”
Saffy walks off sulking leaving Ginny, Kaan and I.
Kaan looks at Ginny confused. “You’ve got another sister?”
Ginny laughs. “Yeah, she’s new.”
“She’s also a little crazy.”
“And she’s got herself into a real mess back in London.”
“Oh?” I look at Ginny expectantly. “Tell us.”
“Ex-boyfriend.”
I’ve had more than my fair share of ex-boyfriends so I nod knowingly. “No explanation necessary.”
“Let’s just say that she’s going to stay with us for a while.”
“You’re going to have a full house!”
“Maybe.” Ginny lifts her chin slightly as she side-eyes my husband. “Meg was pretty upset when she got here.”
It’s good to see that my friend has my back.
Kaan looks down at the floor, embarrassed. “I fucked up.”
“I heard.”
“I know you’re worried about Nutmeg, but I can promise you it was a mistake. It won’t happen again.”
“I want to believe you.”
“I’ll never hurt Nutmeg or Peanut either.”
Ginny raises her eyebrows. “Peanut?”
I shrug, laughing. “Better than Kaan Junior. I couldn’t let my baby sound like a sequel!”
Kaan chuckles as he wraps his arms around me. “All I care about is that my two favourite nuts are happy and safe.”
“We’ll get there. I know we will.”
He leans forward and kisses me, a soft brush of his lips that sends a familiar warmth radiating through me. It’s the kind of kiss that makes the world around us blur, like we're the only two people that matter. As his arms tighten around me, I feel the steady beat of his heart against my chest, a comforting rhythm that always seems to calm my racing thoughts. I melt into him, my worries dissolving as his hands gently cradle the back of my head, pulling me even closer. His presence wraps around me like a blanket on a cold night, and as usual, I’m lost in his arms, in his touch, in everything that is Kaan. It’s like coming home, and for a moment, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.
Ginny coughs discreetly and we pull away. “Sorry, forgot where we were.”
“Hmm. I completely understand.”
The foyer door open and a young man is standing there, with a huge smile on his face and I turn to Ginny. “Do you have a brother we don’t know about as well?”
