Chapter 14 #2

On top of working, for the past few days, Symphony had been running around preparing for the trip.

She got some clip in’s added to her real hair.

She also had to get her nails and feet done along with a facial and Brazilian wax.

Her eyebrows needed to be threaded and tinted, and she got her lashes done.

Needless to say, she was exhausted. The plane had barely taken off before she was asleep.

Symphony slept the whole flight, and she got off the plane feeling refreshed.

Chocolate covered strawberries and champagne were waiting for them when they arrived in the hotel room. Or the suite rather. Symphony bit into a strawberry, closed her eyes, and moaned. “Oh my God, this is so sweet and juicy.” It was literally the best strawberry she’d ever eaten.

Her breath hitched when Block leaned in and suckled juice from the strawberry off her bottom lip.

“You about to start something we don’t have time to finish.”

He hit her with a cocky grin and grabbed the bottle of champagne. Block poured two glasses of bubbly, and they took sips while standing on the balcony looking at the amazing view of the city.

“I might holla at my homeboy while I’m out here,” Block revealed as he stared at the cars below them. “He’s a dope ass tattoo artist. He’s done like three of my tattoos. I usually hit him up whenever I’m in town.”

“That sounds like a good idea. I need some new ink.”

Block looked over at Symphony. After seeing her naked, he peeped that she had more tattoos than he originally thought. If he had to guess, he’d say she had at least twelve. “Oh yeah. Where you want to get it at?”

“My back. I have my arms done, finger, ankle, foot, thigh, and the back of my shoulder. I want a large back piece.”

He didn’t even know what she wanted on her back, but he knew whatever she got it was going to be sexy as hell.

“Say less. I’ll call him right now and see if he can get us in tomorrow.”

With a broad simper, Symphony lifted the champagne flute and took a sip of her drink. She was excited and could already tell that Chicago was going to be the getaway that she needed.

“And we’re in there,” he reported after a few minutes of texting.

The champagne, the atmosphere, and everything about Block had Symphony in the best mood. She was riding a high that she didn’t want to come down from. “I guess I should call you Mr. Make It Happen.”

“I told you, you can call me whatever you want to call me as long as it’s not disrespectful. Feed me one of those strawberries.”

The lust in his orbs had Symphony’s yoni contracting with desire.

If the massages were scheduled just a little later, she would have taken him down right on that balcony.

In response to his request, she slid the glass door back and went back inside the room.

Her mouth watered for one of the succulent strawberries, but he was first. After plucking one off the tray, she pivoted.

Block was in her personal space, so she didn’t have to move an inch.

He peered into her eyes as the strawberry rested on his lips.

Slowly, he took a hefty bite while never taking his gaze off her.

Never in life had she ever been weak but when it came to Block, Symphony was terrified that she would become wrapped around his finger.

She tried to tell herself if that did occur, he deserved to have his way when it came to her because he went above and beyond for her.

Taking a page from his book, Symphony stood on her tip toes and licked juice from his lips.

“Oh hell nah,” he backed up. “You not about to have my dick hard then whoever does my massage is going to think I’m a perv.”

Symphony erupted into a fit of giggles before refilling her glass.

She wanted to let all of her inhibitions go.

Block was someone that she felt comfortable getting drunk around.

For one night or a few, she wanted to let her hair down.

Symphony wanted to just be carefree and have fun.

Eat amazing food, have nasty sex that made her cum over and over again, and to just be at peace.

If Block could assist her with that, she would be greatly indebted to him.

Taking a sip of her champagne, Symphony peeped that Block was staring at her.

“I needed this trip. I need the peace. My main phone is o DND, and it’s not coming off. I don’t care who needs what.”

It dawned on her that he needed the exact same thing she did. To not be needed if only for a day. Knowing they were on the same page made her feel even better. She had no plans of disturbing his peace or ruining the trip in any kind of way.

“I would give you a kiss, but I’ve been ordered to stay away. Just know that I feel the same way, so we’re on the exact same page.”

Block excused himself to use the restroom. When he was done, Symphony was out on the balcony. He used that moment to go inside his luggage and remove a Perc from a medicine bottle. He tossed the pill into his mouth and chased it down with champagne. Let the peace begin.
