Terri: You see it?

Naomi: It looks like … Have you seen The Blair Witch Project? This is Blair Witch shit.

Terri: That’s what I thought too! For the listeners: if you zoom in on the trees on the right side behind Jamie, it looks like three brownish circles hanging from the branches.

You can zoom in on some of the other trees and find similar circles, but the ones behind Jamie are the clearest. Okay, next picture.

This one really got me. So, the camera is focused on a green tree frog on the side of a tree.

The background is partially out of focus.

If you look to the left … you see behind that tree?

Naomi: No. No. Oh, I really don’t like this.

Terri: It is out of focus so you can’t 100 percent make it out, but it looks like there’s someone crouched close to the ground. It’s kind of blurry like they were trying to hide, but weren’t quick enough. A few redditors say it’s just a light flare or dust in the camera lens—

Naomi: Dust? Girl. That’s a fucking person. Is this real? Like it’s not photoshopped or anything.

Terri: I think it’s real. The last eight pictures are taken at night.

It’s a mix of blurry trees and bushes, and then these ones [pause] which are pointed straight up at the sky through the canopy.

The last one is from the forest floor, like Jamie fell or the camera did. This one is the blurriest. You okay?

Naomi [voice thick]: I just … Imagine being lost in the middle of the woods, it’s dark, and you can’t see where you’re going so you use the flash on your camera. How is this not more well-known?

Terri: I keep asking myself that exact question. We’ve covered a few cases that aren’t widely talked about that really deserve to be. This one is just … It’s that last picture for me.

Naomi: Like, what happened to Jamie that it ended up on the ground?

Terri: Exactly. I can’t stop thinking about it. About how scared he must have been, you know?
