Chapter Thirty-One
THIRTY-ONE
Aidan
When I finish reading Micah’s latest post on Scribble Share in my office, I have to undo the top button on my shirt and loosen my tie.
Damn. That was crazy hot.
I message her back on the app.
Holy FUCK. My phone caught on fire. So hot and so good. Well done :)
Then I spot the comment she tagged me in at the end of her post.
What do you think, @ShakespeareInLust? Should we write something together?
I grin and type my response.
Hell yeah. Let’s do it.
I check the clock and see that I have some time before my next class starts, so I reread my favorite lines from her story. She based it on our night together when we were stuck in my office a few days ago during that freak snowstorm. It’s not an exact retelling, since she used fake character names and changed a lot of the details. But the passion is spot on.
His fingers pump in and out of me. The pleasure and pressure builds so intensely, I can barely take it.
My eyes roll back. God, he feels so big and so thick. I wonder if his dick would feel this good.
Who am I kidding? I know it would.
His gaze locks with mine. A storm brews in those crystal-blue eyes. “You’re soaked.”
“I can’t help it,” I whine. “You turn me on so much.”
He pumps harder and faster, until it’s almost too much. And then he lowers his mouth to my nipple, capturing it in between his lips. He drags his tongue over the sensitive bud, sending electricity through my body.
“That’s my good girl,” he growls. “You’re gonna come so fucking hard for me, aren’t you?”
With those growled words, I explode.
Jason walks into our office, and I smack my phone onto the desk. I shuffle through a random stack of papers, trying to look busy. I clear my throat, hoping he doesn’t notice how red my face is.
“Want some coffee?” he asks as he stands at my desk.
“Uh, sure. Thanks.”
He sets the cup on my desk before sitting down at his chair.
We work in silence for a few minutes. Then Jason gathers his things and stands up to head to his class.
“Wanna check out that new distillery in Franklin this weekend?” he asks.
“Yeah. Sounds good.”
“Hey, have you noticed that Micah’s been a lot more pleasant these past couple days?”
I look up at him shoving pens into his laptop bag. “Oh. Really?”
“Yeah.” He loops the strap over his shoulder and smiles. “She was observing my class this morning, and I caught her smiling while she was reading something in her notebook. I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen her smile.”
I hold back a grin. I wonder if she read that funny poem I scribbled in her notebook earlier this morning when I walked by her workspace. She was in the break room getting coffee, so I wrote a dirty poem to hopefully make her laugh.
“I’m just thrilled she’s not staring daggers at me anymore,” Jason says before chuckling, and I laugh along with him.
My gaze falls to my desk, and my brain instantly brings up the image of Micah naked on it, writhing and shouting as I finger fucked her and sucked on her tits. My dick stirs in my pants.
I glance at the floor and remember how we fell asleep on that makeshift bed, her cuddled in my arms, sleeping soundly. How when she woke up, she flashed the sweetest sleepy smile. How she snuggled closer to me and let out the softest moan, like she’s never been so cozy and content.
I think about how happy and comfortable I felt just lying with her as we slowly woke up. I don’t really like to fall asleep cuddling. But with Micah, it felt so good, so natural.
Warmth flashes through me. It’s never been like this with anyone before. I’ve never felt so much passion and comfort at the same time.
As I think about Micah, I feel a pull in my chest. This thing with her is supposed to be casual. We haven’t even had full-on sex yet, but my heart does funny things when I think about her…
I refocus on the moment and look at Jason. “You’re right. It’s definitely a nice change,” I say.
Jason heads out, and I start to load up my bag to head to my class. There’s a soft knock at my half-open door. I look up and see Micah standing there, a playful smile teasing at her lips.
I grin and motion for her to come in. She shuts the door as I stand up and walk over to her. I grab her by the waist, pull her to me, then crash my lips against hers.
She moans softly into my mouth. Fuck, I love it when she does that.
She drags her fingers through my hair. I tilt her head back, deepening our kiss.
After what feels like a solid minute, we finally break apart. Both of us are gasping and chucking softly.
That playful smile is back. “Hi.”
“Hi.”
Micah straightens my tie and gazes up at me. “We already broke the rules.”
“We did?”
She nods. “We said we’d keep things professional while we’re at work. That kiss wasn’t very professional.”
I grin and shrug. “Can’t help it. I was dying to kiss you.”
She sinks her teeth into her lush bottom lip as she grins.
I swallow back a groan. “You can’t do that. Not when I’m on my way to teach class. Now all I’ll be able to think about is that hot little mouth of yours.”
She giggles. “Thanks for the poem, by the way.”
“You liked it?”
“Oh yeah. Very romantic. I was swooning hard. ‘Roses are red, violets are blue, your tits are amazing, I want to wine and dine you.’”
She chuckles and shakes her head. I laugh and shrug. “What can I say? I’m an incredible poet.”
She playfully smacks my shoulder. “Oh, yeah. Your poem was right up there with Orlando’s love letter to Rosalind in As You Like It .”
I grin. “That’s exactly what I was going for.”
She laughs even harder.
“I was serious about the wining and dining part though. Let’s go grab dinner tonight after work.”
One corner of her mouth lifts higher than the other when she smiles this time. I notice she does that when she gets excited about something. That means she’s excited to get dinner with me.
I feel that pull in my chest again, wondering what that means…if maybe she’s feeling the same about me.
I tell myself not to get carried away. This thing between us is supposed to be casual and fun.
“Then afterward maybe we can head back to your place or mine and brainstorm an idea that we can write for Scribble Share,” I say.
She kisses me. “That sounds perfect.”
