Chapter 3 The Best Friend Became Distant

My Best Friend had become a bit distant recently.

She ignored me.

When I sent ten messages, she replied with one.

I suspected she had a new Best Friend.

"Baby, why don't you call me Baby? Are you having a new Baby outside?"

"Indeed, forgetting the old love when having a new one."

The other side replied instantly: "No."

"I only have you."

"Baby."

I was satisfied.

I also shared the Cheesy Pickup Lines I saw today with her.

"Baby, I have been feeling a bit dizzy lately, because you make me a little overwhelmed."

My Best Friend: "Really?"

She paused: "Actually... I have been feeling overwhelmed too."

I: "Baby, you and I are like soy milk and deep-fried dough sticks. Without you, I would be dry and tasteless."

My Best Friend: "I am too."

"I do not want to be apart from you."

I: "Baby, are you carbonated soda? Why do I get excited and bubbly every time I see you~"

My Best Friend: "I am happy too..."

I: "Baby, you must be a book, otherwise how could I fall asleep thinking about you more and more..."

This time she did not read the message.

Only the typing indicator was there.

She kept typing.

I did not pay attention.

Until the next day when I woke up.

I saw my Best Friend's message.

"If we sleep together, would it be too early now?"

It was sent at 6 AM.

I had just woken up, sleeping at 6 AM was a bit early.

I replied: "It is a bit early."

"Let's sleep together at night next time."

My Best Friend replied instantly: "Next time?"

"You are sure?"

"You have thought it through?"

"You will not regret it?"

"Such things... why do not we wait until we talk to our parents..."

Just sleeping together.

We have slept together before.

Why was my Best Friend so hesitant?

If we did not go out to sleep over, we did need to inform our parents.

I nodded: "Then wait until I talk to my parents, and we sleep together."

My Best Friend slowly sent a word: "Okay."
