Chapter 31
Destiny's pov
Wow my pillow is so warm and it smells good. I tightened my arms around it to feel the warmth but my pillow started to shift and it was going away from me.
No don't go, you are warm.
I slightly groaned because of the warmness I was missing. I hugged my pillow tightly and shifted closer to it. I released a breath in sign.
This pillow is very hard but very warm. I would like to keep it with me.
"Oh my God" I heard a loud male voice. I shifted due to the noise.
Damn it's Sunday, why can't they let me sleep in peace. Today is extra warm than before and I don't want to leave this.
I heard someone shushing and whispering something.
"Shush, keep it low otherwise you will wake them" it was a female voice.
"OK" it was quite for a while.
"I think we should wake them up and see the reaction of them"
"Wait. I will take a picture of them. This is precious, we won't get this opportunity again"
Then I heard few clicking sound and heard footsteps nearing me.
"Liamy wakey wakey" I heard a male voice near me.
My pillow groaned and hugged me tightly.
Why is my pillow hugging me but never mind. This is so good.
"What are you guys doing" I heard a female voice. Then I heard a gasp while saying "Oh God".
"What happened Lily" I heard a male voice. I heard him gasp after few seconds.
"Looks like you don't know they would be here"
"No"
"Liam wake up" I heard someone whisper shout.
"Go away let me sleep" I heard my pillow talking against my neck.
"Liam just open your eyes and see where you are" I heard the same voice speaking.
My pillow slightly moved and few seconds later it went stiff.
I didn't like that.
I frowned my eyebrows and pulled my pillow towards me and rest my cheek on something soft. I released a breath in relief.
Sure I am going to keep it with me from now.
I heard the sound of chuckling through the room.
"She is quite a heavy sleeper. She doesn't know anything happening around her when she is asleep" a female voice said chuckling.
"Sky, wake up" I felt someone shaking my shoulder slightly. I know that voice, it's Ava's. What is she doing here.
I groaned and snuggled into my pillow rubbing my nose along with it. My pillow groaned at that.
What happened to my pillow.
"Go away Ava I want to sleep. It's soo comfy today" I mumbled into my pillow without opening my eyes.
Why do I feel like my face is against a skin than soft pillow.
My pillow hugged me more tightly as I mumbled.
"Is it really that comfy" she asked.
"Yeah. I think I will take this comfy pillow with me whether Liam gives it to me or not" I said sleepily.
My pillow laughed at that and I felt the vibration of that. I heard a laughter goes throughout the room.
Why is my pillow laughing? Pillows don't laugh right? Am I missing something? What is Ava doing in Liam house? Where am I sleeping? Last night I was watching movie with Liam.
OH NO.
I opened my eyes sharply to see skin of a human rather than pillow. I lifted my head up to see Liam smirking at me.
I looked down to see that, I am literally sitting on Liam's lap with my arms around his neck tightly. I can feel his arms around me on my waist under the blankets which was laying upon us. Our face were only a inch away.
I turned my head to see around the room.
Ava was standing two feet away from us. Alex and Liam's parents are standing behind her at a notable distance. My eyes are wide in shock.
They all are seeing me sitting on Liam's lap while I cuddle him like my pillow.
'What was I thinking? ' I asked myself.
'You were not thinking, you were sleeping that's why' my mind answered.
In shock I tried to get up, but it was a great mistake. I land on the floor on my back. I groaned in pain. I here everyone laughing hard. I blushed in embarrassment.
Stupid blanket. It got tangled in my legs and got me to this situation.
"Princess you should be more careful" Liam said to me still laughing. He helped me in standing up.
"I will jus..... just be back" saying that I dashed out of the living room. I heard laughter behind me as I made my way towards the guest room.
I went inside the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror. My face was red.
How did I get into this situation? Last night he was sitting on the other couch? How did he end up next to me? And how did I end up on his lap?.
I shook my head and went to the shower. I took a very long relaxing shower. After finishing I came to know I didn't bring any clothes. I smacked my head with the hand and wrapped the towel around me.
I came out of the bathroom to see Ava sitting on the bed with her mobile. Hearing the bathroom door open she looked up. She smiled at me.
"How did you know I was here" I asked her making sure the towel was wrapped tight.
"Liam said. And here" she picked up a bag from the ground and gave it to me. I looked inside to find my clothes.
"How did you get my clothes and how did you know I was in Liam's home" I asked her looking confused.
"I planned to meet you today at your place, but Alex said you are here when I called him yesterday. Liam said to him. I came here with Alex. So I bought some extra clothes, thought you might need it" she said shrugging her shoulders at last.
"Now go, hurry up. I have lots of question to ask" she said excitedly assuring me to go inside the bathroom. I went inside and got changed. I came out of the bathroom and Ava was not there. I went out of the room towards living room in search of others.
They were not there. I went inside kitchen to see Liam, Alex and Ava eating their breakfast.
"Destiny dear, come and have your food" Melissa said happily as soon as she saw me entering. She was serving the food. I went and sat beside Ava. Melissa quickly plated my plate. I started eating.
I didn't see Liam parents.
"Where is James and Lily?" I asked to Liam turning my head to him. He looked up from his plate and replied.
"They went to get their things from their house. They will be here by night".
"I am very happy for you Liam" Melissa said caressing his head. Liam smiled at her.
His smile is very beautiful.
What am I thinking.
No one asked about the position I and Liam was in the morning. I was glad about it.
We all ate the breakfast and after finishing we went to the gaming room. We played all types of games. I must say Liam have a good set of game collection. I don't know what time is now. I wanted some air, so I left the room and went to the balcony which was beside the guest room up.
The sun was setting down when I came. It was beautiful to watch. The breeze was cool with peaceful surroundings.
I love this place.
I am slightly feeling sad that I am leaving this place tonight. I don't know when I will return to this place again.
"You look sad" I heard Liam voice behind me.
I turned and looked at him, gave him a small smile and looked back at the sunset. He came and stood beside me.
"This place is beautiful. I am going to miss this place" I said.
"Well if you like it you can come here anytime. The door is always open for you here" hearing this I turned to him fully happily.
"Really!"
"Yeah, since you are my friend. You can come here" he said smiling at me. I was mentally dancing inside.
"Thank you". He just smiled heartily.
We stood there seeing the sunset. Soon we ate dinner and left the Liam house. Alex dropped Ava and me to my apartment. Liam insisted to drop, but we refused since Alex was already there to drop us.
We said thanks to Alex and entered my apartment. We were exhausted so we plopped down on the couch.
"So we need to talk" Ava was the one started it. I looked at her confused.
"What should we talk about". She raised her eyebrows at me questioning.
"Did you really forget this quick because just this morning I asked you" she said. My mind blinked at question she asked in Liam house. I released a breath said.
"What do you want to know"
"Tell me from your trip to London. I haven't spoken to you properly since then".
I told her everything since she is my best friend. I started explaining to her everything. I said about Luke to her and how Liam behaved in London. About the amusement park and the talk between Liam and I.
I missed out the incident happened in office.
I don't know what Alex said to her anything about the situation he caught us.
But I won't tell her until she ask about it.
I left out his parents story, since it's his story to tell not mine.
I just said I helped him since he asked.
She listened not uttering a word. When I completed she was processing everything.
"So I think he is getting you back" I was horrified hearing her.
"Why would you think that? It's not like that" I said in shock.
"Why did he ask for your help when he would have done it alone. And not to say, he took you out in London. What proof you need" she said crossing her arms. I copied her and replied.
"Well he was nervous about something so he asked me about it. And in London, it was a free day. He just took me out and apologized". She nodded her head not satisfied with me.
"Okay whatever you say. But what about today morning. You were literally clinging on to him like your life dependent on it" saying that she smirked at me. I started blushing at that.
"Tha.... that I don't know. I thought I was hugging a pillow" I said to her in low voice. I can feel my cheeks turned completely red now. She laughed at me.
"I know you like him" I glared at her but she continued regardless of my stare "Don't give me that look. I have known you very well now. I can also see you are avoiding this feeling because what happened in highschool" she gave me sad smile and knowing look.
"Remember I am always here for you" that she is. I went to her and hugged her. She hugged me back. I released from her and went to my room. On the way I heard her singing.
"Destiny and Liam were sitting on a tree kissing..... " she stopped singing as I shouted at her.
"AVA" she started laughing. I blushed again and went to bathroom.
