Chapter 52
Liam's pov
I saw as Destiny walk upstairs. This is a mess.
I didn't want this to happen. I wanted to introduce her to the world as my princess.
I know she is sad about this. But she is covering it up with a neutral face.
Atleast she was happy on the way, when we came here in helicopter.
I have to think about this. I can't tell media anything without Destiny's opinion.
She is still not ready for this world. I have to look for a alternate ways.
My mom came and sat beside me.
"Everything will be alright son" she said. I nodded my head.
"Mellisa can I get a coffee. And something for Destiny" I said leaning my head back. Mellisa said okay and went towards the kitchen.
"Son is there anything I need to know before I go to work" my dad asked. I explained him my meetings which I wanted to attend, only important ones. My mother got up and left.
"I will ask Destiny to mail the schedule to Alexis. She will help you" l said getting up. I went to kitchen and saw Mellisa cutting some fruits. She saw me and gave my coffee. I took a sip and signed.
"How did Destiny take it" she asked continuing her work.
"She said, she was sad and angry. But she is keeping it low. I know she is sad" I said drinking my coffee.
"She is a strong girl. She is just shocked to hear them. She will get use to it like you did. I know it's not easy for you too. I have seen you" she came towards me saying that and hugged me. I hugged back. She knows me so well. She pulled away and went to blender.
"I made a smoothie for her. Here" Mellisa said as I placed my empty cup down. I took it from her and went upstairs to my room.
I went inside and saw Destiny typing something in her laptop sitting cross legged on the couch. She had changed into a loose T-shirt which has fallen down on one shoulder with sweatpants. I sat beside me and gave her the drink. She looked up and looked at the drink.
"I asked Mellisa to make something. She made a smoothie for you" I said. She placed the laptop on the table and took the glass from me.
"I want you to send my schedule to Alexis" I said leaning back on the couch. I looked at ceiling placing my head back.
"I already sent it, she just called me. I don't have much work to do, just few documents. Everything will have to look after Alexis" she said.
"Good. But again Alexis have to stress about it" I said closing my eyes.
"Is it okay for you to not go to the office. I mean I know how busy your schedule is" she asked.
"It is okay, my father will handle the meetings. I am going to take online if it's important" I said.
"Okay" she said. I opened my eyes and looked at Destiny, she was drinking the smoothie. She completed it and pulled the glass away from her lips. She has got a mustache from the smoothie, she looked cute. She placed the glass on the table and looked at me.
She doesn't know she has something on her upper lips. I smiled, she looked at me confused. I chuckled and leaned down to her and kissed her lips. I licked her mustache smoothie and pulled away slightly.
"Mhmmm the smoothie is good. I have to try it sometime" I mumbled against her lips and kissed her deeply. I put my tongue into her mouth, she tasted like smoothie. She pulled away.
"You taste like coffee" she said taking her laptop.
"Go and work. Don't let your father suffer alone" she said narrowing her eyes at me playfully.
"Yes madam" I said getting up. I started removing my coat as I walked to my closet. I removed my shirt and I can feel stare at my back. I smiled and took out a vest and sweatpant. I turned towards Destiny and caught her staring at me.
"You like this so much don't you" I asked referring to my body. She blushed and looked down at her laptop. I chuckled and changed it quickly.
"I will be in my office, if you need anything let me know or Mellisa" I said.
"Okay" she replied. I went out towards my office room. I sat on the chair and called my personal investigator Robert Smith. I call him only in these situation. He is also one of my trusted men.
"Hello Mr. Collins" he picked up in three rings.
"I think you have already seen the news" I asked opening my laptop
"Yes sir. What should I do about it" he asked quickly. He is always ready for his duty.
"I want you to find out who did this. And what is the reason. Don't ever leave him if you get him" I said starting working.
"Yes sir" he said hanging up.
I called my security back up and asked them to clear out the crowds in Destiny's apartment and in my building. Alexis informed the situation there when I picked her call from Destiny's mobile.
I continued working and attended a meeting online.
It was lunch time and I was still working.
Someone knocked at the door, I said 'come in'.
Destiny came in closing the door. I stopped the work and looked her.
She came towards me and straddled me on the chair.
She hugged my waist and placed her face in my neck. I hugged her rubbing her back.
"Are you okay princess" I asked softly. She shook her head. I know she is sad and wanted some time to herself. So I left her in my room in the morning. I let her be comfortable in my arms and continued my work. After few minutes she pulled away. I left my work and placed my hands on her hips.
"Better" I asked pushing her hair behind her ear. She nodded her head.
"I wanted to talk to you. I don't know whether the decision I made is good" she pushed her hair behind her ear "I think we can say to the media about our relationship" she said. And I can see she wanted to say something.
"But... " I said let her continue what she wanted to say. Shegrabbed my vest at the end and started to fiddle with it.
"I know we decided to keep this from media until we are ready.
And it didn't turn out like that. But it will be risky if we say it.
I mean what if we break....." I didn't let her continue because I grabbed her chin and pulled her lips on me and kissed her roughly.
I want to remove that thought off her head, for whatever she is thinking.
I put my hand at the back of her head and tilted it so I can kiss her more deeply.
She moaned into my mouth and grabbed my shoulders.
I pulled away after few minutes breathing heavily.
She was also trying to catch her breath.
"Don't ever say that word again because I won't leave you even if this world ends. Even if you run away from me and hide, I will hunt you down wherever you would be because you are mine. You belong to me" I said seriously looking dead in her eyes. She was surprised looking at me with wide eyes.
I pulled her by her neck and kissed her again.
She didn't respond for a few seconds and when she came to her senses, she kissed me back.
She slide her hands up in my hair and grabbed in slightly.
I trailed my hands down to her butt and squeezed it pulling her towards me.
She slightly stood on her knees and cupped my face kissing deeply.
I had to lift up my head because she was literally above me.
I slide my hand inside her shirt and grabbed her waist. I lifted her and got up from my chair and placed her on my desk.
She circled her arms around my neck and pulled me. I stood in between her legs and roamed my hands inside her shirt as I was kissing her. I gripped her end of the shirt and was about to pull it up when we heard a scream.
"Holy shit"
We both pulled away immediately and looked at the door.
Sophia was standing there with wide eyes looking at us. Her hand was still on the knob as she entered. Suddenly she closed the door with thud. I signed leaning my head on Destiny shoulder.
"I think we have to be more careful. I don't like it when someone interrupts us" I said. She pulled me away and smoothen my hair in her hand talking.
"It wasn't her fault, it's your office. She didn't knew I was hear" she said. My mobile started ringing, I saw it was the investigator.
"Come on its already lunch time" she said getting down from the desk as I stepped back.
"You go, I will come. I have to take this call it's important" I said. She said okay and went out. I picked up.
"Yes any update" I said sitting back on the chair.
"Yes sir. I found the guy" he said. I was surprised, he caught him quick.
"So what did he say" I asked.
"He is just a local reporter. He said he got a mail from anonymous saying that "The billionaire Liam Collins is in this apartment with a girl.
I want you take a picture of them and post it on the internet in some other account.
And you will get the money five times you earn".
This was the mail sir with the picture of the apartment" he said. Who could it be? Mr. Smith continued.
"The reporter didn't believe at the first but he choose to find out was it true.
So when he got there he asked someone there he didn't get anything.
He saw the food delivery guy entering, and followed him with unsure.
When you came out sir, his suspicion was right and took the picture and uploaded it on internet.
On doing that, the reporter did get the amount" he explained. He is good in his job and fast.
"Did he say anything about the anonymous mail, who sent it" I asked.
"No sir, looks like he doesn't know"
"Okay, I want him behind the jail legally for ruining my privacy. And find this anonymous sender who sent the mail" I said. He replied with a 'yes sir' and hung up.
Who wanted to ruin me with bringing my beloved ones in it. Who ever it is, I won't leave them. They messed with the wrong person.
This is not the first time I am facing the media. When I started building this company, there were few of them wanted me down. They made a fake pictures of me taking drugs and other stuff. I had a rough time facing them and solving it.
I went out of the office towards the dining room. Sophia and Mellisa were talking, Destiny was no where to be seen.
"Don't know you how to knock before entering" I asked sitting beside Sophia.
"Well you should know how to lock. And I didn't expect to see the guy who wouldn't talk to any woman standing there eating up Destiny's face like its his last treat" she said leaning on the table with her hand and placing her head on it. Mellisa gave a slap on her head.
"Don't talk to him like that. He is a man in love, let him be" Mellisa scolded her. Sophia rubbed her head and glared at me. I laughed smirking at Sophia.
They knew I love her.
I looked around for Destiny.
"Where is Destiny" I asked.
"She went out to talk with..... " Sophia's was interrupted with Destiny voice.
"Liam look who have I met". Suddenly my nose started twitching slightly.
Sophia's eyes widened seeing behind me and said "Shit". I turned around to see Destiny standing in the dining room with my nightmare.
