Chapter 62
Liam's pov
I am happy that Desting said she loves me. I didn't think she would say it this early. I was rambling when I saw her awake and didn't know I said how much I really wanted to say I love her. She seems okay with her condition.
What she said about the someone ruining me, it might be true. They are after me. I am confused and irritated, why would they want to ruin me. I didn't do anything wrong to anyone.
Elizabeth went to work. David and Amanda would come to Destiny's room when they get time.
Ava and Alex would be bickering about something.
I don't know how they turned out like this.
Soon they went to her brother room. Good thing is that, Ava's brother is also getting discharged today.
And Alex is taking them to their home. David completed both the paper work.
I changed my clothes here because the bag was in my car.
Elizabeth helped Destiny in changing into a comfortable clothes before she went to work.
Now we are going back to Amanda house. Elizabeth had taken David car, so I am driving Amanda and David with us.
Alex has already went with Ava and her brother.
Destiny is sitting beside me in the passenger seat.
We decided to leave today to Philadelphia after dinner.
I stopped at Amanda's house. Everyone got out except Destiny. I walked to her door and opened it. I helped her to get out. We walked towards the door. Amanda took out the keys and opened the door.
"Mother we are here" I called out. She came out of the kitchen wiping her hand in a towel.
"You came, how are you Destiny" she asked hugging her softly and pulled away.
"I am fine" Destiny said smiling at her.
"Where is Nick" Amanda asked.
"He is with James in the living room, I was making dinner for you all" my mother said.
"You didn't have to, but thank you" Amanda smiling with pleasure. Everyone walked to the living room and saw a cute scene.
Nick was standing on the couch beside my father who is sleeping leaning his head back on the couch.
Nick was doing the same thing what he did with David yesterday.
Big hair pins were on my father head. We all laughed at that.
Nick turned around and looked at us. He smiled happily reaching his hand out.
"Mama" he called.
"What have you done sweetie, it is bad to do such thing" she scolded him picking him up. He giggled.
"Haha this is what you do to me, when I sleep. Do you" David said narrowing his eyes at the kid. Nick giggled and clapped his hands.
"Oh God, James wake up" my mother laughed calling father. My father opened his eyes and looked at us.
"Oh you all came, how are you Destiny" he said getting up and hugged Destiny. Destiny was controlling her laugh.
"I am good" she said pulling away.
"Father don't you look handsome today" I commented chuckling.
"Really, but I didn't do....." he stopped talking when he ran his fingers in his hair but got stuck by the pins. Everyone laughed out. He was shocked to see that.
"Oh James, you look really funny right now" my mother said.
"What happened to my hair" he said pulling out his hand.
"Jesus" he said. Nick giggled putting his hand in his mouth.
"Here let me help you" mother helped father removing the pins. I pulled Destiny softly to sit on the couch.
"See the little monster doing prank on us at young age" David said tickling his grandson and taking him from Amanda.
"Sure he is a little monster" father said chuckling. Amanda and mother went into the kitchen. David and James sat on the couch talking.
"Do you need anything" I asked Destiny.
"I want a glass of water" she asked. I made her comfortable on the couch and went to bring her water.
After few minutes, Elizabeth came home. Chris was not there. He had some work in the next town, so he went in the morning and won't be coming back. He video called Destiny in the afternoon asking about her health.
We all had dinner, I fed Destiny because of her hand and after that we were all set to go.
"Cupcake be careful, if something happens call me immediately. I will come to you" David said.
"Don't worry David, I will look after her" I said. He smiled at me.
"We had a really good time. Thanks for calling us. Destiny is a sweetheart living with us. We will look after her" mother said grabbing Elizabeth hand.
"Thank you, we too had a good time. Hope we all can meet soon" Elizabeth said. David and father bid their goodbyes. Destiny said goodbye to everyone and kissed Nick's cheek. I also bid goodbye to everyone. I put the bags in the trunk.
Soon we were on road, I was driving. Mother and Destiny sat at the back and father beside me. Destiny is already sleeping leaning her head my mother shoulder.
"Mother are you okay holding her" I asked looking at the rear mirror.
"I am fine son. I think her medicine has knocked her off" she said holding Destiny's shoulder around her arms.
"I have to say son, you have got a really good girl. Her family is also same like her. I don't know when was the last time I had spent time like this. I felt happy" my dad said smiling at me as I glanced at him.
"Really son, it was good spending time with them. And this girl here is an angel coming in our lifes" mother said. I looked at them in the mirror, my mother was caressing Destiny's head with her hand. I smiled and looked back at the road.
"Yeah she is an angel" I said.
We reached our home. I parked the car at the front and Mellisa came out of the house. We got out except Destiny.
"I thought you would be gone home" I asked Mellisa.
"I wanted to see Destiny before I go. I was worried about her when I heard what happened" she said. I opened the back door and took out the seatbelt of Destiny. I placed my left hand under her legs and other on her back, I picked her up softly not disturbing her much. I carried her in bridal style.
"I hope she will get better soon" Mellisa said looking at her. I started walking into the home.
"Good night son" both my parents said going into their room.
"I will help you with her, come on" Mellisa said carrying our bags.
I walked to my room. Mellisa opened the door for me and went inside.
I walked in following her. She pulled the blanket away.
I placed Destiny carefully on the bed, supported her right arm with a pillow and covered her with the blanket.
"I will ask my driver to drop you off, it's late" I said.
"Thank you Liam" she said. I called the driver and went with her till the car. I came back to my room after she went and unpacked our bags. I arranged everything and went to sleep with a pillow and extra blanket on the couch. I don't want to hurt her. I slept off.
My alarm started ringing at my nightstand. I rubbed my eyes yawning, I opened my eyes and turned, but I was startled seeing Destiny sitting on the table with angry expression.
"What the..... What happened" I asked sitting up.
"You didn't sleep with me" she said.
"Yeah, I didn't sleep with because as I said I am waiting....." she cut me off. I know what she is talking about, but I wanted to tease her..
"I didn't say that" she shouted blushing "I mean to say you didn't sleep beside me. Why" she asked again. The alarm turned off automatically.
"I didn't want to hurt you, so I slept here" I said yawning again.
"Why are you sitting here. And how come you are awake so early today" I asked.
"I don't know, I woke up half an hour back and sat here looking at you" she said "And don't you ever sleep away from me, orlese I will kill you" she continued glaring at me. I chuckled.
"So you want to go back to sleep or want to join me in the gym" I said standing up and folding the blanket. I placed them in their place.
"I will come with you. I tried to sleep again but I couldn't" she said standing up.
We went to the bathroom and I helped her what she wanted from me.
Then she pushed me out. I went in after she called.
I took my brush and hers and applied toothpaste on it.
We brushed together. I finished quickly. I looked at her, she was struggling.
I took the brush from her and helped her. Then I helped her rinse her mouth. I said her to wait outside. After few minutes I came out. We went to the gym together. She sat on a chair with her mobile. I started with my thread mill.
After that, I started with my push-ups.
"Did I miss this all the day" I looked at her. She was looking at me in amusement "Well now I can say, what a sight to see" I chuckled shaking my head. She copied my words.
I sat on the bench and leaned back on the supporter, and started my lifting weights. From my corner of the eyes, I see Destiny looking at me in excitement. After few countings I relaxed placing the weights back. Destiny came towards me and sat on my lap sides ways.
"Why didn't you say, seeing you in gym is sexy" she asked. I chuckled at her statement.
"Well you should wake up early to see this. And it's not easy as it's looks like" I said putting my hand behind my head. She looked at my biceps and touched it.
"Then I am coming here whenever you come. I like these" she said touching my biceps.
"This belongs to you darling, you can do whatever you what" I said pointing to my body. She smiled and leaned her head on my chest being careful with her hand.
"I love you" my heart skipped a beat and started beating fast hearing her.
"I love you too" I said kissing her head. She got up and sat on the same chair. I continued working out. After half an hour, I finished. Destiny was sitting on the chair still watching me.
"Come on princess, let's go" I said. She nod her head and got up. We went to my room.
"Should I help you with the shower or should I call Mellisa or my mother" I asked removing the T-shirt.
"You can help" she said. First I helped her in washing her hair in the bathtub.
Then she took bath herself slowly not moving much of her hand.
Meanwhile I took a shower. I finished and wrapped my towel.
Then I helped her with her towel. We went out to our closet.
I picked one of my T-shirt for her, it would be easy for her.
I helped her with the panties, bra and sweatpants.
She went to the dresser and took the dryer to dry her hair.
I put on my clothes and went to her. I took dryer from her and dried her hairs.
"What do you want it, tie it up or free" I asked finishing drying her hair.
"You can tie it up?" she asked
"I can try" I said taking her hair. I tried, but I wouldn't make it. Destiny guided me and I did it.
"Thank you" she said. I helped her putting my shirt. It was difficult because of her cast but I did it carefully.
"Now all set to go" I said.
"You won't be going to the office" she asked moving out.
"Not today but I will work from here. And you will not be working for a month. I want you to take rest completely" I said.
"But Liam how can...." I interrupted her.
"No talking" I said making her sit on the bed.
