Chapter 65
Destiny's pov
It's been three months now. Today is the day I am taking my cast off. I am so happy, I will be free. I have been waiting for this day.
After that pool day, everything was normal. As Liam said, he took me back to the work after one month. Some or the other way he found out I was helping Alexis in the work. I got a good scolding that day. But I reduced it short by a kiss.
I said to him that, I like to go back to my apartment, but the next day he bought all my things from there and set it right here. He said his room is now ours. I was happy listening to that. He took me on many dates in these months. He was so loving and I keep falling for him more and more.
Even we are happy, somewhere Liam is disturbed. I know it's about the anonymous guy who is on his back. He said one day that, they are not getting anything about this man. Liam didn't stop there, he is deep into it.
Everyone one in the family is happy. There is something going on between Ava and Alex, and they are being secretive about it. Chris is gone to Africa for his new project. Dad, mom, Amanda and Nick are happy. Nick had started talking now. He is very adorable.
Lily and James are busy with their business.
Even though they spend the time with us as much they can.
Lily released the photos of Liam two months back.
Due to that, many girls started a separate fan page following.
They swoon over him when ever they see him.
And as usual he ignores them. Lily even released the photos we have been together, as she said my face is covered in everything.
I even went to Luke and Gabriel marriage. It was beautiful. When Luke called and told about it, I was happy to visit them.
It has been good even though my hand is being cast. Today we are going to the hospital in Philadelphia. My dad suggested a good doctor here, so we are on the way. I was smiling the whole day. Liam stopped the car at the parking lot. I got out with excitement.
"Cool down princess" Liam chuckled getting out.
"I can't wait to be free from this" I said smiling at him.
He took my hand and went inside. Liam asked for the doctor's appointment.
They told us to go to second floor. We went to the elevator and Liam pressed second floor.
While closing the door, I saw a man wearing mask and hat in black passing by.
For a second he looked at me as door closed.
I tried to think where I had heard that description of the man like that.
"Princess" I can out of the thought hearing Liam's voice. I looked at him.
"The door has opened come on" he said looking at me. I smiled slightly and went with him. We sat and waited for our name. We went in and talked to the doctor. He removed the cast and told want to do and not for few days. He said some exercises for hand for recovery.
Soon we came out of the hospital. And I was thinking about the man I saw.
"Princess, are you okay" Liam asked.
"Yeah, why" I said looking at him.
"I opened the door for you but you were in your own world. Are you alright" he asked looking into my eyes. I smiled and pecked his lips.
"I am fine. I love you" I said getting into the car. I heard him say 'I love you too'. He came around and sat on the driver and started driving.
"You want to go somewhere for your celebration" Liam asked. I thought for a minute.
"I hadn't been to mall for months now. Can we go there" I asked turning towards him.
"Sure" he said.
We came to the mall and went around everywhere. We shopped together. He bought more clothes than me. He gave all the bags to the security team who was around us. They are all here within some distance following us. We went to the ice-cream parlor and took our favorite ice-cream.
We sat on the bench and started eating. We were happy talking and enjoying our day.
I looked around and outside the parlor through the glass windows. I saw the same man I saw in the hospital. He was walking on the other side with head down. He went into a shop. Again he came out walked around. When he would look our side, I would look away.
"Princess, what happened to you. Morning you were so happy. Now you are not even listening to me" Liam asked. Suddenly I remember Ava describing a man in the hospital.
"Liam do you remember Ava describing a man when she had been following the other day" I asked curiously.
"Yeah. Why did you ask now" he said. I asked his appearance, he told me. I came to know he is the same guy.
"Liam listen, don't freak out. That man is right here" I asked slowly. Hearing that he went to stand up. I grabbed his hand and pulled him down. He looked around. I pulled his face to mine and kissed him. I pulled away and whispered.
"Don't look around like that, he would see us. He has been following us from the hospital today. He is walking around like a normal person but he is keeping a eye on us. We have to be careful" I said. He looked into my eyes and nodded.
"Good. Now what should we do" I asked.
"I will inform my security team, let's hope we can catch him today" he said typing in his mobile.
I acted like I was feeding him ice cream.
I looked out again, but this time the man was seeing me.
He lifted his hand up to his throat and slide his thumb across it.
My heart raised seeing that. Does that means, he is going to kill someone.
He dashed out in a minute. I grabbed Liam's hand for the support.
"Everything is going to be okay" he said hugging me. I looked up at him. He was looking at the place where the man was standing. I think he saw what I had seen. I bought my hand to the necklace Liam had gotten me.
We left the mall and drove to his house. As soon as we reached, he tightened the security around us. Us means everyone in our family.
We have to make sure everyone is safe.
Time went fast. It's been one month now, after the incident we all have been careful.
Liam received a bunch of photos of us. It was taken outside the house.
Like entering and leaving his office, hospital, mall and everywhere we have visited.
Liam is pretty bothered about it. He had put a tracker in my necklace, just in case.
I also made him put it in his ring I had bought especially for that.
We are sitting in the living room watching TV. Liam's parents are gone to other country for a business purposes. We sent Mellisa back to her home soon. So we both are alone in the house. My hand is healed now. I can do anything on my own now.
I have a very bad feeling from this morning. I tried to push it back, but didn't. It's already dark now.
"You want anything to eat" Liam asked. I flinched slightly.
"No I am fine" I said looking at the TV.
"Princess" he said making me turn towards him.
"You have not been yourself today. You would flinch slightly when were I call you. Is something bothering you" he asked. I signed.
"I don't know, I am having this bad feeling from this morning, like something is going to happen" I said rubbing my hands looking down. He hugged me and caressed my hair.
"Nothing is going to happen. We have security everywhere" he said. I nod my head.
Suddenly every lights went off. I gasped in fear. I pulled away from him.
"What happened, why did the lights go" I asked.
"There must be some problem, but it's unusual. This hasn't happened before" he said getting up. I took his hand and followed him. He turned on the torch light on the mobile and went to the kitchen. He took out the candle and lit it with a match box.
He called someone, but they didn't pick it.
"Why they are not picking up" he said frustratedly.
"Come on we will go in the living room" he said moving to the living room.
He placed the candle on the table and left my hand. He tried calling again and again pacing in the room.
I saw a shadow moving behind Liam. I was about to call his name when someone grabbed me from behind and closed my mouth. My scream was muffled around his hand. Liam saw us and tried to come to me.
"Princess" he said. But someone swinged a bat on Liam's head from behind. Liam stopped and held his head. I screamed crying out his name but it was not heard.
The man who was behind Liam came front. He was the same man we saw. Even now he had a hat and mask. Again he lifted the bat up and striked against Liam's head again. Liam fell down with thud. I cried trying to escape from the hold.
"He is down, we can take him now and finish him later" the man said.
"What about this girl" the man behind me asked. I was trying to get free.
"We will tie her after we make her unconscious.
Even when she would be up, no one will be here.
By tomorrow when they will know, this fucking man will be dead" the mask man said pushing Liam body in his feet.
I cried harder. I have to think fast. I started to slow down the wriggling in his arm and tried to breath heavily.
I made my eyes roll back and fell in his arms.
"Hey" the guy behind me slapped my cheek.
"Looks like she fell unconscious by herself.
That's good, another job is easy. Now tie her up" I heard the man say.
When he placed me on the chair. I peek open my eyes and grabbed my mobile without their notice which was beside the chair and kept it under my leg.
The guy tied me up tightly on the chair.
I kept on eyes closed. I heard some shuffling around me.
Soon I heard the front door close. Immediately I opened my eyes and tried to remove the ropes.
I heard a car sound driving away. I tired again but I can't remove it. I cried.
"Liam" I called out his name. I tried to reach my mobile which was under me. But I couldn't. I made it fall on the floor. I started typing my password with my toes. I called Alex.
"Hello, what is it Destiny. Did Liam do anything" he whined.
"Alex" I cried saying his name.
"Destiny, are you crying. What happened, is everything okay" he asked worriedly.
"No, someone had kidnapped Liam. Come here fast. They will kill him. Call the cops" I cried.
"Okay I am on my way now. Don't worry" I cut the call and called the investigator. For emergency I had saved his number.
"Hello" he said.
"I know you are Liam's investigator. I am Liam's girlfriend. Someone had kidnapped him. I had placed a tracker on Liam's ring. I want you to help me to find him" I asked.
"Sure ma'am, I am on my way. We will track him. I will call for the backup security mens" he cut the call. I tried again to remove the ropes but I couldn't. So I waited. After ten minutes I heard Alex voice opening the front door.
"Destiny"
"I am here" I shouted. Alex and Ava both came in.
"What happened" Alex asked removing the ropes. I explained everything what happened.
"They are tracking him down" I said. Ava hugged me. We went outside as we heard sirens. Our guards were lying on the ground unconscious. Cops took care of the guards and we explained to them what happened. A car came in and a man got out and came towards us.
"I am the investigator. Ma'am we found out where sir is. He is in a abandoned house, which is 15 minutes away from here" he said.
We all planned out what to do and left to the place where Liam is.
