CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

MY WEDDING DAY: CATCH EDITION PART 2

CATCH

I forcefully separated the women from each other. Despite the chaotic situation, my soon-to-be wife, Bianca, only seemed to have a few strands of hair out of place. I wasn’t surprised when Tori, Simone and Asia suddenly appeared, surrounding Bianca and yelling at Melina.

Grabbing onto Melina's arm, I demanded, "Where's your brother?"

She responded by spitting blood on my white shoes and sneering, "He's around here somewhere. He'll skin black Barbie and her friends alive, Catch. But you already know that."

“He won’t make it past me and my friends,” I snarled.

After Melina visited my parents for the first time I did a deep dive into her family. Her brothers were savages. They’d indeed kill the girls and wouldn’t blink. I knew out of all of her brothers her twin Mavin was here somewhere. He wouldn’t let her travel to Las Vegas alone to see me.

“You shouldn’t have come here, Melina. I’d told you we wouldn’t ever be more. I wanted to have a good time. That was it. Why couldn’t you leave well enough alone?”

“Because I knew me being the daughter of a Baltimore Don and you Pitucco mafia royalty, we could take the crime world by storm,” she bit out trying to rip her arm from my grip.

Melina and her mob ties were getting under my skin.

Her blue eyes softened. “You were supposed to see me.” She swiped the blood from under her nose.

“Be with me.” She pressed her breasts into my chest.

I jerked her arm pushing her back. “Melina, I don’t want you,” I growled.

A blow to Melina’s face came from my right. Bianca got in Melina’s face. “Screw you and your mafia royalty. He just told you he wants nothing to do with you. Here you are making a spectacle of yourself.”

“Melina, you should’ve moved on like I told you too.”

Her gaze shot to mine. “Well, it seems my father doesn’t want me to. He insisted I break up your wedding. He has plans for us.”

“Rémy, Ezra, and Romeo, guard the entrances. “My bride and I are getting married no matter what.”

“On it,” Ezra replied without hesitation.

“No!” Melina screamed, her voice echoing through the chapel.

Tori discreetly slipped something into Bianca’s hand.

Before Melina could react further, Simone and Asia grabbed her arms, holding her in place. Bianca moved with lightning speed, clutching the tie.

Melina flailed, waving her hand wildly, but Bianca struck fast, landing a sharp punch to Melina’s throat.

“Ah! That hurt!” Melina yelped, her voice rasping.

Bianca didn’t hesitate. She shoved the tie into Melina’s mouth, her eyes gleaming with triumph. “You’ll sit there and watch me marry the man you’re obsessed with,” Bianca sneered, a wicked grin curling her lips.

Ritchie stepped forward placing zip ties in Tori’s hand. I glanced at his suit, noticing his tie was missing.

I removed a handkerchief from my back pocket and wiped the blood off my shoe. My family and friends were on top of the situation. I didn’t hit women. So I didn’t feel helpless while the ladies handled Melina. I felt pride swell in my chest. All I wanted to do at that moment was marry Bianca.

Tori met Ritchie’s gaze. “Thanks, baby.” She gave a zip tie to Asia, then kneeled in front of Melina. Tori caught Melina’s leg as she tried to kick her. Tori slammed something into her foot.

Melina mumbled around the gag.

It was a knife.

“We don’t like women who come after our men. Like my bestie said, you will watch her get married.” Tori zip tied Melina’s ankles.

Asia and Simone led Melina to the second row of chairs on the right side of the chapel across from the rest of the wedding guests.

I had totally forgotten about Bianca’s family watching everything unfold. Her younger brothers probably watched on in horror. I knew her father definitely wanted to stop the wedding now.

I smiled as I took Bianca’s hand leading her to the altar.

“Bombshell, we can’t kill her. But you girls can have fun with her at the reception.”

Bianca smiled. “I know she’s untouchable right now. In this setting. I’m a patient woman. I’ll wait to take care of her.”

Blowing out a breath, I squeezed her hand. “Thank you for understanding.”

She grinned from ear to ear. “I’m marrying mafia royalty.” Her eyes met Melina.

Melina thrashed against her restraints basically foaming at the mouth.

Holding Bianca’s hands, we stared into each other’s eyes as the officiant asked us the most important question?

“Callum Rizzo, do you take Bianca Landry to be your wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?”

“Especially forsaking all others.” I winked.

Bianca beamed.

“I do.” A cocky smile lifted the corners of my lips.

The officiant repeated the question. This time directed at Bianca.

Bianca caressed my clean-shaven jaw. “I do.”

After we exchanged rings my heart raced. I waited for this moment on pins and needles for the past week.

“By virtue of the authority vested in me under the laws of the State of Nevada, I now pronounce you husband and wife,” the officiant stated.

“You may now kiss the bride.”

Without hesitation, I placed my hand on the small of her back and gently cupped her cheek with the other. Our eyes met and I poured all of my love into that one look. "I love you," I declared before capturing her lips with mine in a passionate kiss. My tongue eagerly explored her mouth, claiming it as my own.

Lost in the moment, I almost forgot about the audience of our family and friends. It wasn't until my cousin's voice broke through the haze. "Congratulations, you two!"

Breaking our embrace, I gazed down at Bianca with adoration. "You're officially Mrs. Rizzo now."
