Chapter 22
I flutter my eyes open when feather-like kisses are placed on the side of my neck. A soft hand is caressing my stomach, while a heavy leg is thrown over my own.
The intoxicating scent fills my nostrils. Armani Code. His scent. The only perfume bottle he uses, even though there's a bunch of different ones in his bathroom cabinet.
I flutter my eyes open, the golden light of the sunrise blinding me. I turn around, and am sure enough met with a naked, tattooed chest. His chest.
"Morning sleeping beauty." His husky voice whispers making me look up.
"Hi," I blush. Before I can hide my burning face in his chest, he lifts my chin placing a soft kiss to my lips.
I wrap my arms around Aiden, and place my chin on his shoulder, closing my eyes as we hug laying down.
"What time is it?" I murmur, my voice raspy.
"Six, something." He replies casually.
I pull away and look at him, my eyes narrowed.
"Aiden why did you wake me up and hour before I have to actually wake up?"
"Because," He kisses my forehead. "I wanted," my nose, "to spend time with you before you need to get ready for school." My lips.
I nod against him, bitting his bottom lip for entrance which he gives. His hand finds its way to my neck, where he holds me firmly, trapping my head between his hand and his face. Not that I'm complaining.
And that's how I spent an hour and forty-five minutes;lip locked with Aiden. Which leads me to now; running around in my room, trying ti get ready in time all the while Aiden is downstairs, probably eating breakfast and chatting with the guys.
.....
Danny took me to school today, along with another bodyguard, named Chris, in the front seat because my brothers weren't willing to take me to school, and by brothers I mean Zach-who left the second I mentioned the word ride- and Parker-who just let Ashton get into his car.
My older brothers and boyfriend left the second I walked downstairs, so one of them taking me to school was kind of, impossible. Not that I would want them to.
"Cutie is waving us over," Ethan nudges me out if my thoughts.
I look towards where he is looking at and see its my brother.
Zach. "You have a boyfriend and that's my brother.
" I nudge him back and follow him and Summer towards the long table-most likely the biggest table in this lunch hall-that's always occupied by the populars- football players and head cheerleaders.
Looking around at all the faces, I'm surprised Jason isn't by the table, considering he's the quarterback.
I sigh in relief.
"Hi,"I wave awkwardly at everyone who greets me back happily, and take a seat between Summer and Vanessa, the Cheerleading captain, who's nothing like the stereotype.
We all have small talk while eating until I hear my name being called from across the table.
"Yeah?" I ask Josh, a senior with curly, brown hair and bright blue eyes. A player, quite handsome, but player nonetheless.
"So do you have a boyfriend?" At that, everyone sitting around the table stops talking and pays attention to the two if us.
"Uh, n-no?" I state, but it sounds more like a question.
I exhange a confused look with Zach, but turn my attention back to Josh.
"That's good, how about a date? Me and you tomorrow?"
My eyebrows shot up. "Tomorrow? As in tomorrow?" A few chuckles are heard but I ignore them.
"Yeah, what do you say, I'll pick you up."
"Actually, my grandma is coming from Italy and my older brother wants me to go to the airport with him and then we're all having a family dinner so yeah, maybe another day?
" I give him a weak smile, praying to the god above, that he'll buy my cheap excuse and that he doesn't ask for another day.
I have Aiden and the last thing I want is going out with some high-school player and destroy what me and Aiden have.
"Yeah, sure, just give me your number so I can text you." He smiles.
I look at Summer who's biting her lip, looking anxious as ever and at Ethan who's having his worry-lines on show.
What do I do now?!
I don't want to give him my number.
"No, that's my sister. Find someone else." Zach chimes in, hopefully saving me.
"Come on dude it's just a date. Please Avery." He gives me his puppy eyes. They're nowhere near as cute as Aiden's. I internally cringe.
Before I can say something the bell rings and everyone stands up.
"Saved by the bell," Summer whispers in my ear, standing up herself. I follow suit.
"Imagine if you gave him your number. Mr. Hottie would punch his face and pretty boy would for sure not be so pretty anymore." Ethan whispers from my other side.
"True." I shrug and follow them to class.
.....
I shoot another ball and motion for Zach to do the same. His tall frame towers over the table as he pushes his pile forward, making all the balls clank together, before the black one falls down.
I smile in triumph and set my pole down before slumping down on the leather couch with a sigh.
He follows suit, on the opposite end, facing me with his feet spread in front of him. I take the same position, sipping on my gatorade.
He smirks.
"So our grandma is coming tomorrow, huh?" He asks.
Sighing, I set the gatorade down and answer him. "I couldn't reject him in front of the while football team."
"So you would reject him if it wasn't fir the whole team present?" He raises an accusing eyebrow.
"Well, I wouldn't say yes."
"Why, you would make a cute couple." He shurga innocently.
"Me and Josh? Would we make a good couple?" I repeat his question, just as the black door to the game room opens, revealing our older brothers and unfortunely, Aiden.
Please tell me he didn't hear what I just said.
Please, please, plea-
"Who the fuck is Josh?" Xavier's voice booms throughout the room. Both me and Zach flinch.
"N-no one." We both say at the same time.
"Avery. Who. The fuck. Is Josh?" He repeats.
My eyes meet Aiden's. If he tensed his jaw a little more I'm sure it would break. I scan his body. Black suit, silver chain dissapearing underneath and a deadly look on his face.
"No on-"
"Avery." Aiden grits out. Great.
"Just a guy who asked Avery out today at lunch.
He's on the football team." Zach shrugs.
I look at him with wide eyes but he continues.
"He's actually a really good player.
You know with brown hair. Curly. Yeah, that type.
" He shrugs, looking at all of the guys before turning to me with an innocent smile on his face, while I look at him with my mouth agape.
"Oh. What did you say?" Hunter asks calmly. Always the piece maker. That's why he's my favourite when it comes to situations like this. He talks things out with me. Without assuming things and going all caveman on me.
"I said that our grandma is coming over tomorrow." I reply quietly.
The guys let out chuckles, even Aiden, but his laugh is bitter. Ironic even.
"He asked you about tomorrow?" Tristan smirks.
"Yeah," I shrug.
He nods in approval.
"Stay away from him." He shrugs, walking over to the mini bar.
"Well, I'm going upstairs, it's getting kind of late." I trail off and stand up from the couch.
"Alright principessa. Goodnight." Xavier kisses my forehead as I pass him and I close the door behind me.
I pass my younger siblings sitting in the kitchen eating on my way up, mumbling a hey, which they ignore.
.....
I strip off my uncomfortable clothes and put Aiden's black t-shirt on. He gave it to me today morning, before he left my room, so his scent is still on the smooth fabric he probably wore not long ago.
I am about to make my way to bed when my door opens revealing him. I smile, but it quickly turns into a frown when I see the angered look on his face.
"Who the fuck is Josh?" He almost growls, taking fast steps towards me, until we're standing chest to chest. My back against the wall and my front against his muscular one.
"No one important."
"He is fucking important if he thinks he can take you out on fucking dates." He growls, his hands balling into fists.
"Aiden, he isn't. He won't take me out on a date." I try to resure him, placing both my hands on his face.
"Did he do anything else?" He asks angrily.
"No," I stammer out, my eyes shifting between Aiden's eyes and lips.
"Good. You're mine." He wraps his hand around my throat, making me gasp. His grip is tight, but not enough to hurt me. Just enough to make my most private area tingle.
He starts sucking and nipping my neck in a possessive way, one of his hands holding up my cheek while the other is palming my butt.
Pulling away, he squeezes and slams his mouth on mine, pulling me impossibly closer to him.
My hands brush up his chest, agisnt the fabric of his button up, around the hot skin of his neck, up to his soft, gel-free hair. A satisfied groan escapes from deep within his throat when I tug lightly.
Aiden let's his hand fall of my cheek. He slides it down my arm and the side of my breast, I almost moan at the feeling of his fingertips in such an area. It goes behind me, down my waist and onto my butt where it joins his other hand, queezing and rubbing softly.
If it's possible, our bodies come closer one another. I can feel his ripping muscles against me.
His hands slide further down my body, his slender fingertips leaving a trail of fire, wherever they touch. He ushers me up, by the back of my tighs.
I wrap my legs around his waist as he walks backwards towards my bed. His big palms massaging my backside roughly this time.
"You're mine." He whispers against my lips. His fanning breath making me shiver as he sits down on my bed with me on his lap. I nod into the kiss. But that doesn't seem to satisfy him. "Words, baby." He sounds almost in pain. "I'm yours." I breath and that's when he slams me down.
I can feel him poking me through his pants.
Moans and groans are heard through the room, along with our heavy breathing as I roll my hips against him, trying to relive some of the pulsing pain between my legs.
"Avery," He breaths out when I tug at the roots if his hair.
"Baby stop." I don't.
His hands find my hips, stopping my movements.
"You're not ready to finish what you've started." He says husklily against me. I nod giving him a final peck. I know he's right. I'm not ready to give that to him. Not now at least.
Aiden falls back with me on his chest.
We both fall silent, listening to our slowing breathing in a comfortable silence. His arms are wrapped around my waist and I'm sure that my shirt has riden up a bit, probably showing my panties.
Our silent moment is disturbed when my phone starts ringing. Growing in annoyance, I slide off Aiden and pick it up, not looking at the caller ID.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Avery." My eyes widen at the voice. I smile unsurely at Aiden.
"Hi, Josh." In seconds, the phone i snatched away from me, by Aiden.
"Call her again and I'll put a bullet between your eyes." I gasp and make a move to pull the phone away from him but he grabs my arms, trapping me in a tight hug.
"She has a fucking boyfriend now fuck off and delete her number." He hangs up and gives me my phone back before falling back down on my bed, taking me with him.
"You didn't have to threaten the poor guy!" I slap his chest.
"Watch your tone princess." He warns, making the tingling feeling come back.
