56. Not my family!
Abhinav, Abhishek, Adithya, and a few of his officers entered the party ready to strike the minister. As soon as the minister received a call his face went blank and he started sweating. All his security officers left as he was dismissed from his post and that made him go mad making Abhinav smirk. It was his order to remove the minister from his post and no one dared to talk otherwise and followed his order without any further questions as he was very influential and going against him was like losing the power in a snap.
"What's next?" Abhinav asked Adithya who was having the same smirk as him. Adhithya gestured for him to look ahead and one of the minister's trusted men, or we can say his trusted goon ran to him panicked to inform him about the police raids happening on his different hideouts and warehouses.
"He thought he would loot people, kill them and we will sit silent. Now is the time for him to pay for every sin of his." Abhinav gritted while the minister ran out as if his body was set on fire.
Abhinav gestured for Abhishek to move ahead with his next plan and Abhishek nodded at his brother acknowledging his command. Abhishek gestured for one of his security to go ahead with their plan and he left swiftly nodding at his boss. Abhinav's guards started vacating the people and guided them out to their cars.
"Capture all his men, in and out of the palace immediately before he plans something," Adithhya ordered his officers who left immediately after saluting him. Abhishek's man recorded the minister barking orders at his men about destroying the evidence that could help them in proving the minister guilty in court.
Once the hall was empty, a gunshot was heard and Abhishek was lying on the ground, Abhinav pushed his brother as soon as he saw the gun being pointed at him. Abhinav helped his brother up and checked for any injuries making Abhishek chuckle at his elder brother who treats them like children.
"Looks like those bastards want it the hard way." Abhinav seethed in anger that made the other two a little scared of his anger. Before Abhishek or Adithya could react, Abhinav took long strides towards the man and he fell to the ground as Abhinav's fist came in contact with his cheek, dislocating his jaw.
"How dare you?" Abhinav roared holding the man by his collar. His bloodshot red eyes made the man skim in fear as sweat beads formed on his forehead while he gulped multiple times seeing the death standing in front of him.
"Sorry, sorry Maharaj, please spare me." The man begged holding Abhinav's legs but his posture remained the same without any hint of forgiveness.
"You should have thought about it before pointing the gun at my brother." Abhinav seethed and another painful punch landed on the man's face making him scream in pain.
Soon a few more goons were seen jumping the walls trying to enter while the three men stood there with a hard expression on their faces and no hint of fear in their eyes. Abhinav looked around and tsked before sitting on the nearby chair with a cold drink in his hand as his wife threatened him about not kissing him if he smelled like alcohol.
"Can you guys handle this? I am a little tired after all the hectic work in the past few days," Abhinav asked his guards who nodded at him making him smirk and lean back on the chair with one leg folded over the other with a stoic face.
"Finish it sooner boys, we are yet to celebrate my coronation," He instructed his men who nodded at him before taking steps towards the goons who were all set to attack them.
As the fight broke out, Abhinav's men along with Adithya started trashing the goons while Abhishek stood beside his brother with a bored expression on his face sulking about how he was struck with these idiotic goons instead of sneaking kisses from his fiancee.
A goon was about to fall on Abhinav as Adithya punched him hard but Abhishek threw him away before he could reach his brother making Abhinav raise his brow in amusement.
"I don't want the suit my bhabi selected after spending hours getting wasted by that shit," he replied nonchalantly making Abhinav mutter under his breath.
"Waah, he's more concerned about the suit his bhabi selected than his brother," Abhinav chided but soon their focus shifted back to the interesting fight happening around them as the goons fell to the ground one by one with broken bones and bleeding noses.
"Sir, a few people entered the palace and are about to attack the Royals in the arms room," As soon as the guard informed them, all the playfulness and the smugness of the brothers got replaced with anger as they both started walking towards the arms room with faster steps.
On the other hand, the people in the arms room were in dilemma whether to open the door or not. They didn't want to risk their safety and at the same time, they couldn't sit silent while the children were killed without any mistake of theirs.
"I will call, Nav" Isha said taking out her phone but there was no network to her utter dismay.
"We don't get signals here, Bhabi maa. They might have turned on the jammers." Abir spoke after checking his own mobile. Soon the silent atmosphere filled with a gunshot followed by the loud cries of the children.
"I just shot her shoulder for now, but the next bullet will go into her head if you don't open the door." The same voice threatened.
"Please save us, Hukum. We are scared, please save us, Hukum." the kids cried out, and before any of the youngsters think about something Dadu sa opened the door and stepped out making them panic. It happened so fast that no one could react. One relief was that only two of the attackers had guns in their arms while the others had swords. The security succeded to an extent in stopping them from sneaking in with weapons but they still need to check for the culprits who let the two guns in.
As he stepped out, Abir and Ishaan along with their fathers followed him taking the three random guns placed there. Isha and Prisha rushed to the kid lying on the ground clutching her shoulder at the edge of passing out.
Prisha picked up the kid in her arms and started walking in while a goon came in their way making both the girls groan in frustration.
"I will handle him," Isha whispered to Prisha, and before the goon could react, she held the hand in which he had a gun and kicked him between the legs making him shriek in pain and his grip around the gun loosened. She immediately punched him in the face with the elbow and took the gun from his hands.
"Move," she yelled at him pointing the gun to his forehead and shot his leg when he didn't bulge making him fall to the ground.
They took the girl in and Prisha treated her as Abhigya fetched the first-aid box in the room kept for emergency purposes. Isha and Priya brought the remaining kids into the room as the boys distracted the goons. The girls and Dadi sa stayed in along with the kids while the men were fighting with the goons.
A goon held Abhigya by her hair and pulled her away from others pointing the gun at them while she cried out in pain. It gained the attention of the men and they rushed to her aid. But to their bad, their guns were out of bullets and they had to get into a hand-to-hand fight now which didn't seem easy with Abhigya at gunpoint.
"Leave her this instant if you want a pain-free death," Ishaan yelled with bloodshot red eyes that made the man shiver but he made no effort to move away from her.
"Abir, no!" Isha yelled looking at the back of the attacker that distracted him and gave Ishaan a chance to pull Abhigya away and kick the attacker on his chest.
"I warned you, bastard," Ishaan roared and more painful punches landed on the man till he got unconscious while Isha and Mithali engulfed Abhigya in a warm hug whispering soothing words to her.
Ishaan thrashed the man till he got unconscious and moved to other people with anger radiating from his body and his veins popped. He looked the same way he did when he reached out to save Isha from Raman.
"Abir,"
Isha shouted in horror running as they saw a man running towards him with a sword in his hand ready to kill him. Everyone closed their eyes in horror, not wanting to see the dreadful event but heaved a sigh of relief as they heard the voice of Abhinav.
"Not my family, you bastards!" Abhinav roared twisting the hand which he held the last moment before it hurt his brother and pulled the man back and pushed him to the wall. His hand held the knife in the tight grip and it pierced through the same hand that was trying to harm his brother seconds ago pinning him to the wall.
"Abhinav,"
"Bhayya,"
"Beta,"
Everyone shrieked as they saw the blood dripping from the sword, Abhinav turned as his breath stopped and his heart pained as he saw the blood droplets falling to the white marbles.
