59. Our time together
I woke up from a nap nearly in the evening. We have to go shopping. With that in mind, I got freshened up and changed into a red suit as Prisha bhabi asked us to wear red so that we could continue with our original plan of wearing the same color dresses. I glanced at my husband who was sleeping peacefully.
I walked to him, ran my fingers in his hair, and felt his smooth and silky hair getting messy under my touch. I kissed his forehead followed by his eyes and nose. Then I kissed his cheeks and I very well know he is wide awake and enjoying it. I bit his cheek a little which caused him to open his eyes with a frown.
"That's not how you wake someone up, Princess," He deadpanned, trying to fight a smile forming on his lips, seeing me giggle.
"Why don't you teach me then?" I raised a brow suggestively and the next thing I knew I was under him on the bed and he was hovering above me with our bodies tangled.
"Gladly," he husked and took my lips in his for an earth-shattering kiss. His lips, mastered the art of assaulting mine in every possible way leaving me craving for more of him, heck, all of him.
When he was satisfied with my lips, he moved down to my neck peppering kisses all the way down, and nuzzled into my neck leaving open-mouth kisses there. He bit my sweet spot earning a moan from me and started licking it to soothe the pain.
"Try this from next time," He smiled on my neck and laid down pulling me onto himself, with my head resting on his chest as his hands found their way into my hair caressing them.
"Achha ji, that looks more like making out than waking up," I pointed out the obvious. He kissed my cheeks then bit it making me hiss.
"We have no problem with it, do we?" He questioned back and I blushed in reply. His chuckles filled the otherwise empty room.
"Go get ready, we need to leave," I ushered him to get up and he woke up reluctantly. Once he was done bathing, I helped him get dressed.
"Can we go to the temple before going to the mall?" I queried once we were both completely ready.
"As my Queen commands," His reply was immediate. He texted someone, intervened our fingers, and led me out of our chamber to the garage where our cars were parked.
"Which one today?" He asked as we stood in the middle of some 10 cars of different models and makes. I pointed our BMW M4 and he smiled at me leading us to it. Nav and Abir are mad about cars just like me and we have a floor filled with cars back home but only have a few here.
"Do you wanna drive?" He asked once we approached and I nodded enthusiastically making him chuckle at my enthusiasm. He passed me the key and got into the passenger seat after opening the driver seat door for me. Once we were out of the garage, guards started getting into their cars and the family got into their own cars while Adi bhayya and Prisha bhabi got into mine as he flew here.
Once we reached the temple, I took the platter of offerings from the back seat and Nav covered my head with my dupatta and we walked in together while the others followed. The priests received us warmly and did the special puja they always do when royals visit.
In the end, I and Abhinav did the aarthi together and then everyone did the aarthi taking turns. We took Prashad and Pandit ji asked Nav to fill my hair partition with sindoor which he gladly obliged. A pinch of sindoor fell on my nose like every other time and he pinched my nose with a mischievous grin like always.
We sat there for a while basking in the setting sun and the peaceful temple environment. After that, we went to the mall which I have always wanted to go to but never got time to visit. By the time we reached, there were guards already spreading in different directions taking care of security.
"Nav," I called him to point to a shop I wanted to and was shocked to find it here. But looks like my husband misunderstood my shock about the shop for something else.
"I am not going to compromise on your safety, Princess. They are going to stay and you can shop as much as you want," He replied in his final tone, leaving no space for arguments. But when did I speak something about security?
"But when did I say something about security? I am talking about the mall you chose," I replied making him look at me shocked. From the start, security is something I never liked. But, over time I realized it was important to keep me safe and I didn't want to see the look on my family's faces when I was attacked a few days ago. If having security around me makes them feel safe, then I can bear a whole battalion of security without any tantrums.
I held his hand and rushed to the shop while others followed behind. Everyone looked equally surprised as Nav but didn't speak anything.
I chose a few outfits for Nav and Abir while Priya chose for Abhishek, Abhigya took the responsibility to buy for Bhai while Prisha bhabi and Aadi bhayya were nowhere to be found. I decided to buy something for everyone and started searching for gifts while Nav followed behind.
I picked a watch from the couple set and took Nav's hand in mine. I took off his previous watch and slid it on to see how it looked. Once I was satisfied with it, I asked the shopkeeper to pack them for us.
"You don't have any problem having security around?" Nav finally asked while I smiled at him shaking my head in no. His brows furrowed in confusion as he waited for me to elaborate.
"I understood why you all insisted on keeping me guarded, Nav. I don't want to scare you again in my stupidity. I don't want any of you, mainly you to feel helpless again," I confessed and he hugged me kissing my forehead.
Being the only daughter of Raizadhas and the Queen of a kingdom comes with some limitations. I understand that and am ready to follow every damn measure if it is what I have to do in return for the love I get from my family. They are not asking me to be locked in a room or trying to restrict me from doing something, they just want to ensure that I am safe while I do what I want to and I don't think they are anywhere wrong in protecting their loved ones.
We shopped for a while and had our dinner together after which we returned to the palace.
"We will go on an ice cream date tomorrow," Abhinav whispered once we were done eating. I gave him a confused look. I mean why an ice cream date specifically?
"Well, we had an ice cream date when we decided to start again and now I want to have one every time I want to celebrate something," he answered the unasked. I quickly took a peek at the surroundings and pecked his lips when I found us alone. That peck was converted into a kiss by Abhinav and he left to meet Dad about something after that.
Tomorrow morning we will leave for our home but I know we are going to visit this place more often, now that we have responsibilities to fulfill.
"What are you thinking, my Queen?" Nav whispered in my ear, hugging me from the back as he rested his chin on my shoulder. His stubble pricked my skin making me feel ticklish. I rested my hands on his around my waist as I leaned back snuggling into his warmth.
"About the preparations we need to make once we go back," I replied as he kissed my cheek and bit there as if it were some fruit.
"What preparations, Princess? " He asked, confusion written all over his face. I turned around and threw my hands around his neck and grabbed him closer to my lips.
"We have two weddings and a baby to plan, My King," I replied looking into his eyes and his hold around me tightened while his eyes darkened in desire.
"We can plan the weddings later, let's make a baby first, maybe two babies," He hoisted me up in his arms effortlessly and carried me to the bed while I hugged his neck giggling.
I am really blessed to have these two families in my life. I had faced my share of problems and traumas but my family always stood by me, supporting me and making me stronger to face the challenges life threw at me. I may not be the most perfect human being but what I have is beautiful and I will go to any extent to preserve it forever.
