Esme
I gave Amelia’s arm a squeeze as we left our final class of the day. “You good?”
She smiled, but I didn’t call her out on how it didn’t reach her eyes. Obviously, she was tired. It was only Tuesday, but it felt like a decade had passed since our weekend adventure to Inferno, rather than a few days. “Just a headache. What about you? I’m curious why you were so quiet at lunch, Es.”
“Just thinking about my daddies,” I told her honestly. “I spent last night with Malcolm.”
“All night?”
I nodded, already grinning as memories of falling asleep in bed with him flashed through my mind. I woke up to his hungry kisses and hot shower sex. Afterward, he flew me back to school in his helicopter and even invited Astro and Otto to go with us.
It was perfect…
Almost perfect.
I’d missed seeing Parker and Benson.
There was no sign of either of them the night before or that morning, and I’d refused to acknowledge the slice of disappointment that had tried to ruin my time with Malcolm.
Amelia fell into step with me as we slowly walked toward the exit. Her grandmother’s driver would be waiting at the front of the pickup line for her, so we wouldn’t have much time to chat once we got outside. While other students scrambled to get out of school as quickly as possible at the end of the day, Amelia tended to procrastinate as much as she could get away with before she had to go home and be locked inside her cold, lonely manor with Clarissa.
Soon, she wouldn’t be alone, though. She would be off to Harvard. As soon as she was out from under the Durst stranglehold, she could be free to love and be loved as she deserved.
“Did you decide if you want to call Trevor or not?” I asked her quietly as we turned a corner.
She ducked her head. “I keep changing my mind. We had something special—at least, I think we did. But maybe it was all one-sided. And what if he finds out who I am and freaks out? Elsa and I have the exact same birthday, . His daughter and I are literally the same age, give or take a few hours. That’s weird, right?”
“It’s only weird if you make it weird. Like I’ve said before, it’s total karma. Elsa calls your father ‘Daddy.’ It’s going to destroy her if you return the favor, but in all the fun, dirty ways.” I winked when she scrunched up her nose at me. “On a serious note, though, age doesn’t matter if your heart is engaged, Lia. My daddies are in their forties. Their age means maturity, experience, and confidence. That’s hot as fuck, girl.”
I swept my hand around at the guys walking down the halls. “Take a look at the guys around us and tell me if you honestly think these pencil-dick losers know what they’re doing? They get their feelings hurt if you even look at them the wrong way. And that sure as hell isn’t confidence. It’s arrogance. Narcissism.”
“True,” she agreed, grimacing as we passed a few of the more athletic kids. They normally would have been all over Elsa and her friends. “But I’m not concerned about the age difference. I’m just worried he won’t want me because of Elsa and… Well, Sarah’s his ex. That is the part I’m most hung up on. My first time was with my stepmother’s ex.”
“Obviously, his taste in women has improved over the years. Don’t hold his poor judgment from more than eighteen years ago over the man’s head, Lia.”
“You think so? Maybe he doesn’t care about her at all.” She nibbled on her bottom lip pensively.
I gently bumped her shoulder with mine. “If he’s a smart man, then yes, I think so. Give him a chance.” We reached the door, and we both knew our time was up. “See you tomorrow. Call if you need me.”
She gave me a quick wave before walking over to where the driver was already opening the back door of the Dursts’ car. I watched her go before turning toward where Astro was waiting for me, my heart sinking a little when I didn’t see Malcolm.
He was a busy man. I knew that. But he’d already spoiled me the day before by picking me up. I wanted more of that. More of his time and cuddles. More of his kisses. More of his I love yous.
My steps felt heavy as I got closer to Astro, my bag seeming to hold bricks rather than books. Pulling out my phone, I started to text Malcolm while my guard stepped forward, taking the bag from my hands and opening the door for me. Without looking up from the screen, I slid into the back seat.
“Tough day, little one?”
My head snapped up to find Parker beside me. That same joy I’d felt when I’d seen Malcolm the day before uncurled inside my chest. His stormy gray eyes raked over me like hungry hands, his breaths coming in deep, measured increments, as if he was trying to act normal but failing.
Without hesitation, I dropped my phone and climbed onto his lap. As soon as my hands touched him, he lost the control he was struggling to maintain. Otto barely had the partition up between us and the car in drive before Parker was gobbling me up.
“I missed you so much,” he groaned, burning his face in my hair. “It was agony being away from you for so long, . I don’t know how I survived it. Jesus Christ, sweetheart, I don’t think I can do that again.”
“I missed you too,” I confessed, scraping my nails over his scalp, holding him closer.
Sucking in a steadying breath, he lifted his head. “Would you like to go on a date with me?”
His question surprised me so much, I just sat there staring at him for a moment.
Parker’s shoulders dropped. “Is that a no?”
“What? No. Of course it’s not a no. I would love to go on a date with you, Parker. I was surprised you asked, that’s all.” I brushed my lips over his. “Does this mean I’m all yours today, Daddy?”
He wrapped his arms around me. “You’re mine every day, little one. But yes, today is definitely ours to enjoy together.”
“Sweet!” I settled into his arms more comfortably. When I saw he was still perfectly put together, I adjusted his tie, loosening it and undoing the top buttons of his shirt so he could relax. “There, that’s better. Now, tell me about your day. Did you fire anyone?”
His deep laugh made heat spread through my entire body. “I leave the hiring and firing up to my HR department, sweetheart. That’s what they are there for.”
“So, if I applied to your company, I wouldn’t get special treatment simply because the big boss took my virginity?” I teased, pouting out my bottom lip at him.
“Fuck, ,” Parker growled, his entire body turning to steel beneath me. Wrapping my hair around his hand, he tugged my head back, his mouth trailing open kisses along my throat. “I’m trying so fucking hard to keep my cock in my pants, little girl. I want us to have a real date because this is more than just sex. What I feel for you is stronger than a mere need for physical connection. I look at you, and I know that I’ve found the soul I’ve been longing for my entire life.”
With my hair tightly wrapped around his fist, locking me in place, I couldn’t escape him even if I’d wanted to. His other hand drifted up the inside of my thigh. My legs spread willingly for him, and he began to play with the edge of my soaked panties. “And there you go, reminding me that I was the first man ever to know what it felt like to be inside you. To see your cream and your blood on my shaft. To have this greedy pussy wrapped so tight around me, it was a miracle I didn’t nut the second I got inside you.”
Releasing a savage curse, he bit into the tender flesh of my shoulder at the same time he thrust two fingers into my core. I whimpered his name, coming undone on his lap.
Trailing soft kisses up and down my neck, he waited for me to catch my breath. “I know Malcolm fucked you in the back seat of his car last night, little one. And I know you like to get your way. But tonight, you’re going to let me spoil you. You got your orgasm, and I promise, by the end of the night, you will get my cock. Until then, sit back and let me take care of my little vixen.”
“Parker…” I wasn’t sure if I was whining or accepting his rules for the evening. He’d fried my brain from that quick, sweet orgasm and that hard bite that was still making my shoulder burn. I was going to be feeling that for days. He’d left a mark, and he knew it.
And I was absolutely okay with it.
“Shh. Don’t argue with me, little one. Right now, all I want to hear is ‘Yes, Daddy.’” He nuzzled my ear with his lips. “Are we clear?”
“Yes, Daddy.”
