Footsteps approached from a distance. A tall figure strode in quickly.

The man wore a well-tailored black suit, radiating an intimidating aura of cold arrogance as he drew near.

However, I recognized him immediately as Gabriel.

Gabriel didn't even glance at me, walking straight to Zoey's side.

He frowned and asked, "What happened? Mr. Brooks said you had a conflict with someone. I happened to be in a neighboring city, so I took the helicopter over to check."

Upon seeing Gabriel, Zoey's arrogant demeanor instantly softened somewhat.

She even deliberately put on an aggrieved expression.

Then she said, "Mr. Johnson, it's nothing serious. I just got bumped into by some country bumpkin."

Zoey paused, glanced at me, and added, "Oh, and she claims to be your fiance."

"Fiance?" Gabriel looked confused, turning to look at me.

His gaze was like a cold, precise scanner, looking me up and down before his eyes clearly showed disgust.

Gabriel said, "You're Elizabeth?" Elizabeth Evans is my name.

Before I could answer, he turned his head away.

Then he continued, "Alright, I've seen you now. You can go straight back and tell your family we're not compatible, and the engagement is off."

Hearing this, Zoey looked surprised.

She asked, "Mr. Johnson, is she really your fiance?"

Gabriel nodded, seeming very reluctant to acknowledge this fact.

He leaned close to Zoey's ear and whispered, "But that's just an engagement our families arranged when we were kids, it doesn't mean anything. The woman who can be my wife must be the most outstanding among people. Look at her shabby appearancewhat part of her is worthy of me?"

After speaking, Gabriel gave me a meaningful glance, as if afraid I wouldn't know he was looking down on me.

He said coldly, "With just an engagement, a woman who's covered in sweat every day thinks she can connect herself to the Johnson family? What a pipe dream!"

Looking at his arrogant attitude, I thought to myself, "Like master, like servant."

I looked at Gabriel with interest.

I suddenly became very curious about what his reaction would be if he knew my true identity.

I said, "Mr. Johnson, before they asked you to meet me, didn't your family tell you about my family's basic situation?"

Hearing my words, the contempt in Gabriel's eyes became even more obvious.

He said, "I don't need to know anything about your family's situation. Anyway, your family definitely can't compare to the Johnson family's wealth and power. I'm warning you, I've made myself very clear. Don't keep pestering me. If you're smart, you'll go back and tell your family to cancel the engagement right away."

I raised an eyebrow slightly, silently comparing my family's assets with the Johnson family's wealth in my mind.

I couldn't help thinking, "Who's actually richer than whom is really hard to say."

Seeing my slight smile, Zoey on the side thought I had fallen for Gabriel.

She immediately chimed in, "Did you hear what Mr. Johnson said? He told you to get lost!"

After speaking, Zoey turned to Levi with an arrogant attitude.

She said, "Mr. Brooks, cancel her exclusive passage privileges at the airport, and don't let her use this passage anymore."

Levi immediately nodded, "Yes, Ms. Turner, don't worry, I'll arrange it right now!"

Zoey was very satisfied with Levi's obedience, so she completely forgot about the pain from when I twisted her wrist earlier and became smug again.

She said, "See that? This is the Johnson family's power! But looking at your poor appearance, I've decided to forgive you once. If you pay me the medical expenses you owe me, I'll let you off. Otherwise, I'll make you face serious consequences!"

Looking at her arrogant behavior, I wasn't angry at allin fact, I found it quite amusing.

I leisurely took out my phone and dialed a number right in front of them.

My tone was very relaxed, even carrying a hint of amusement.

I said, "Hello? I have something I'd like to discuss with you. There's a personal secretary here who says she wants to cancel my exclusive passage privileges registered with the air traffic control department. What do you think I should do to cooperate?"
