Chapter 1 My NPC Suspicion

I felt like I had fallen into an Infinite Flow world.

My Dessert Shop refreshed three customers every day.

They paid to ask me three questions.

At the same time I realized I was very much like an NPC in the Infinite Flow world.

My daily life had fallen into the same loop.

I went to the Dessert Shop at eight every morning, opened the door, worked the whole day, then closed up at eight in the evening and headed home on time.

I told this discovery to Auntie from the fried shop next door.

"Don't be silly," she rolled her eyes and said with a face full of resentment. "Isn't adult life all like this? What Infinite Flow? If you have time, you might as well sell a few more bowls of dessert."

I lowered my head and looked at my toes, feeling aggrieved and staying silent.

Auntie glanced at me.

Suddenly she changed her tone and shouted exaggeratedly, "Oh, Su Yu, you're right! A regular life really does feel like an NPC refreshing at a fixed spot! How come I never thought of that!"

I knew she was humoring me, but I still smiled.

"Smiled? Then don't tattle when you go home, or your man will come looking for trouble with me again."

After saying that she reached into the oil pot and fished around.

She scooped out the eyeball that had fallen into the pot from her earlier eye roll.

Then she pressed it back on.
