Chapter 7 Following Me Home

At eight I closed the Dessert Shop.

They followed me home.

But the moment we entered they started searching everywhere like robbers. I was terrified.

"I-I said you wouldn't do anything."

The man with gold-rimmed glasses stayed silent and avoided my pleading gaze.

The wild dark-skinned man lit a cigarette.

He blew the smoke into my face with a wicked smile. "Miss, you know men's words cannot be trusted, right?"

I coughed several times from the choke.

I waved my hand to drive the smoke away, but the wild dark-skinned man suddenly wrinkled his nose. "What smell is that?"

His gaze on me showed a momentary obsession.

He murmured, "You sprayed perfume? It smells so good."

I stammered and asked if he could stop smoking.

He obediently put out the cigarette.

But his expression cleared in an instant. He stared blankly for a while, then pushed me into the master bedroom with some annoyance. "Does your master bedroom have a wedding photo? Take me to see what your Husband really looks like."

However the moment the dark-skinned man saw the wedding photo in the master bedroom he froze.

The cigarette he had just lit almost fell from his lips.

"Damn, what kind of Husband is this?"

I blinked at the wedding photo and saw nothing wrong.

But the dark-skinned man said, "Why is your Husband's face a cloud of black fog?"

Nonsense!

My Husband was clearly very handsome!
