38. CHAPTER 38

TYLER
I feel a lot better now that I've been to the club and seen it with my own eyes. I didn’t know I was a jealous person. Obviously I must have been saving it for the right person. To make it worse, I think Ivan enjoys it. Of course he does.
It’s later in the evening and I’m sitting in the kitchen eating dinner with Seb, Aaron and Kai, waiting for Ivan to get back.
“Will Chase and Noah be visiting again?” Aaron asks as he stuffs his mouth full of the pasta that Kai has kindly made for us.
“I don’t know. They travel wherever the mood takes them, they don’t really come to the US unless they need to. Noah doesn’t like it.”
“I liked them. Noah was pretty cool,” Aaron says.
“He’s crazy, you mean, and a liability. You could mistake him for a robot,” Seb says, and I kinda agree.
“He makes Chase happy, and that’s all that matters,” I say, before finishing the last mouthful of food on my plate.
“Do any of you ever go away on vacation?” I ask, and Seb and Kai laugh.
“Hell no. They work twenty four seven here. You can’t just leave for a trip, unless it's for work, of course,” Kai says.
“I don’t mind. I love my job and this house. I like my routine,” Seb says, finishing off his second serving of pasta.
“Why, you wanna go away somewhere?” Aaron asks and frowns like this would be an upsetting thing.
“I mean, I’d like to be able to go and visit my brother again at some point. It’s nice to have a change of scenery.”
“But, you’d go without Ivan?” Aaron asks and I notice they are all staring at me, like I’m a confusing puzzle.
“Well…I hadn’t really thought about it,” I say, but another voice talks over me.
“Like hell are you leaving the country without me. Have I not been clear, sweetheart?” I don’t look up at him as I’m mortified. His large hand grips the back of my neck and I want to groan at how nice it feels. His beard tickles my ear as he whispers to me.
“Where you go, I go, and vice versa. You will never spend a night apart from me, Ty. Never.”
“That’s right,” Aaron says, defending Ivan’s words.
“I know, I didn’t say I would, we were just talking.”
“And I’m just clearing up any confusion. You belong with me, sweetheart. Always.”
I look up at him and lose myself in those beautiful brown eyes before answering.
“Always.”
