Chapter 9

Like I Know What I’m Doing

Beck

When I first kissed him, Forest made a grunt of pure surprise, and my heart stuttered like maybe I’d fucked something up already.

But now he’s rolled on top of me, and he’s diving back into my mouth like he’s reenacting a scene from Finding Nemo. I almost pass out from excitement. I tug on his hair like I own him, like I know what I’m doing. Which I absolutely do not.

Miraculously, he moans, and the sound vibrates through my entire body as we merge into another blistering kiss.

Honestly, all those hours I’ve spent daydreaming about blowjobs were off base. It turns out that kissing feels even better—like blocking an overtime goal while simultaneously being hit by lightning.

It gets even more intense when he settles over me, pushing me down into the bed like I’m a panini in a press.

And the scrape of his dick against mine gets me so hot that I’m shamelessly rolling my hips beneath his.

I should probably be embarrassed about how desperate I am, but I crossed the line of dignity about three exits back on the highway.

Forest jerks his mouth away, grabs my wrists, and lifts them over my head. “Ease up. Didn’t I warn you not to get off without me?”

My balls throb in protest. “Is it gonna happen, like, soon, though?” I pant. “Team bus leaves for the airport at six a.m., so I've got a full itinerary planned for tonight—at least two orgasms, awkward post-sex small talk, find my pants, drive home…”

He smashes his mouth against mine again, so it’s hard to know what he thinks of my plans.

I lose myself in deep, slow kisses and faster, rougher ones.

He sets the pace. And the whole time, the beard that’s starred in approximately ninety-four percent of my dreams tickles my neck, giving me fresh goosebumps each time he changes the angle.

When we come up for air, I blink up at him, wondering how I got so lucky.

But he has other things on his mind, like pressing one of his palms across my mouth. “Lick this,” he commands.

There’s a brand-new moment for my spank bank as I lick his palm, and then he swans his thumb into my mouth and commands me to suck that, too.

I’m unclear on the point of this, unless it’s just to raise my body temperature another few degrees with the bossy tone of his voice. But then he drops that slicked hand between our bodies, taking both our cocks in hand at the same time.

Oh.

Oh.

“Fuck,” I whine. “I need to—”

“I know what you need,” he growls. “Because I need it too. Come all over me, and you’ll take me with you.”

It happens so fast that I gasp. The first wave of pleasure barrels through me, and I’m flying. Hot seed coats Forest’s hand and both our cocks a half second later.

“Fuck,” he says through a clenched jaw, and then I feel him shudder. I grab his head and fuse his mouth to mine, and we ride out the orgasm, groaning in stereo into each other’s mouths.

When Forest finally breaks our kiss a minute later, my head is full of peace and static. I’ve become one with the universe, and also with his hot body. Which is why I’m startled a moment later when he rolls off of me.

“One sec,” he says, and I’m too blissed out to reply.

I hear water running somewhere before he returns with something warm and damp that is gently mopped across my body. It feels nice, but I don’t comment on it. Instead, I focus on the more important information. “I just need a minute,” I slur. “I have, like, no refractory period.”

“Yeah, that makes one of us,” he says with a chuckle.

“Hmm,” I say thoughtfully. “We’ll see.”

“Will we?”

“I need you to fuck me,” I insist.

“If you say so.”

“Oh, I do. It's honestly unfair the way you kept all that talent hidden under your grumpy bartender persona. We could have been doing this the whole time.”

He snorts. “I’d argue, but I don’t enjoy sounding like a hypocrite.”

I grin, but my eyelids are heavy. “Just give me a minute,” I mumble.

And then I fall asleep like a dead man.
