Epilogue
FOUR MONTHS LATER
Thomas
Hazel’s sweet little cooing sounds as she looks up at me with her big, bright eyes has my heart melting.
This little girl has all of us wrapped around her little finger.
It’s been four months since our sweet baby girl chose to make her dramatic entrance into this world, and every day has been just as thrilling and amazing as the last.
The sleepless nights and fussy cries are worth it. We work as a team, as a pack. Because of that, no one goes tired or restless. We take turns to make sure we’re all in a good mind space.
Most of all Violet.
After everything that horrid bitch put her through, she started seeing her therapist again. Any time she’s feeling overwhelmed and needs someone to talk to, she calls her up.
We felt helpless for the first few months, our hearts breaking when she woke up crying or having nightmares about what Sylvia put her through.
And every time, we’d remind her that she’s safe, loved, and no one will ever hurt her again.
There’s been more than one occasion where we’ve talked about how we are coping and dealing with the aftermath as well, when Violet was sleeping, of course. We didn’t want to keep it bottled up, but we also didn’t want to worry our Omega, so we leaned on each other.
Sylvia was arrested that day and was charged with a number of criminal offenses. Her sentencing was a few weeks ago and now everything is finalized.
She’s behind bars for fifteen years, with a chance at parole in seven if she’s mentally cleared.
There’s a lifetime ban on her ever coming back to Snow Valley as long as we reside here and we have no plans of moving.
Knowing she’s locked up and unable to hurt my Omega or my daughter has taken a big weight off all of our shoulders.
After Violet got the news, she started sleeping better.
Violet, being the kind and loving person she is, felt bad for Sylvia’s son. She had us look into who was taking care of him and found out that his rightful father has been caring for him for months.
Turns out Sylvia pretty much handed her son over to him the moment he was born. She couldn’t even be bothered with him.
That little boy deserves so much better than her, and I hope his father is able to give him the life he deserves.
Of course, our Omega has been doing what she can and sending care packages to him, making sure he has everything he needs to raise a baby on his own.
This woman is so damn amazing, and we are fucking lucky to call her ours.
As for other aspects in our lives, Violet is over the moon that all three of her best friends have moved into her cabin.
There hasn’t been a day that’s gone by since they’ve officially moved in that our house isn’t packed with women.
But if our Omega is happy, then we don’t care. Those girls have become part of our family, and Hazel has the best group of women, alongside Macy, Tessa, and Aiden’s mother to have as role models.
“How's my sweet little angel doing?” Aiden asks, drying his hands off as he finishes the dishes.
“She’s amazing.” I grin as Hazel lets out a little baby squeal. “Just had a baba and a bum change.”
Aiden scoops our daughter out of my arms and lifts her into the air. “Hey, baby girl.” He chuckles at Hazel, blowing raspberries.
“Careful,” I laugh. “You’ll bring her lunch all back up if you move her around too much.”
“Good point.” Aiden shifts to cradle her.
“Guys!” Nolan comes rushing into the living room. We both look his way.
“Everything okay?” I ask, brows furrowing.
He grins. “Ahh, maybe? Yes? No?” He looks over at Aiden. “You think your mom could watch Hazel for...” He takes a moment to think. “Four or five days?”
It’s just now that I realized he looks a mess. His hair is sticking up everywhere, there are marks all over his neck, and his lips are swollen.
Then it clicks. “Shit. Did she start her heat?’
“Oh yeah,” Nolan breathes out.
Typically, it takes a few months after birth for Omega’s heats to start up again, so we’ve known that Violet could start hers anytime now.
“I’ll give her a call,” Aiden says, handing Hazel back over to me, pressing a kiss to her head before taking off.
“Beta!” Violet shouts. “Where are you?”
Nolan’s eyes widen with excitement. “Gotta go.” He gives Hazel a big kiss on the cheek. “Daddy’s gonna miss you. I love you so much, baby girl. Be good for Nana and your aunties.” He gives her one last kiss, presses a quick one to my lips, slaps my ass, and then runs off like a kid off to Disneyland.
Chuckling, I shake my head. Looking back down at Hazel, I brush her hair back. It’s bright red and curly. We haven’t done a DNA test just yet, but I don’t think there’s really any question about who’s swimmer made it to the egg.
“Mom is on the way!” Aiden shouts from the hall. “I’m gonna go grab the away bag.”
A half-hour later, Hazel is off with her nana. There’s an overwhelming panic swirling around inside me, but it starts to drift away the moment we step into Violet’s nest.
The smell of apple pie has my cock thickening, a deep rumbling growl vibrating in my chest.
I nearly fucking lose it, watching my Beta gripping Violet’s ass as he pounds into her. She’s bent over, ass in the air, face pressed to the pillow as she moans so sweetly.
Looking at Aiden, I see the same dwindling restraint in him.
Time to help our Omega through her second heat.
My life is fucking perfect.
Violet
“Morning, baby,” Aiden murmurs. I blink my eyes open, giving him a dopey smile.
“Hi,” I whisper, then groan as I stretch out my body.
I just had my second heat, and much like the first, I hardly remember a thing. But I do know I loved every second of it. And by the way my body aches deliciously, I think that's more confirmation of that verdict.
“How are you feeling?” he asks, brushing some hair off my forehead.
“Sore. But in the best way possible.”
He grins. “You worked us hard, baby,” he chuckles.
“Good.” I grin back. “Best kind of workout.”
“Damn right,” he growls, leaning down to nip at my lips. “Is your heat over?”
I nod. “Yeah.”
“Do you want to spend an extra day or two to just relax and recover or–”
“I want my baby.” I raise a brow.
He chuckles. “Thought so.” He kisses me before rolling out of bed. “Hey, you two. Get up.” He slaps Thomas on the ass, who groans and pops his head up.
“What?” He gives Aiden a sleepy glare.
“Go help our Omega wash up. Her heat has broken, and we want our baby back.”
His eyes light up. “Hazel,” he breathes, and I swear my ovaries explode. I wouldn’t be mad at all if I was pregnant right now.
These men with our daughter? I never stood a chance at going a few years apart between kids.
The way they adore our daughter just makes me want to give them ten more.
“I’ll go make some food,” Nolan says, yawning.
After we’re showered and changed, I’m met with the smell of bacon. “Fuck yes,” I moan and quickly down what's on the plate.
By the time I’m done, there’s a knock at the door.
“Move it!” I push past the men, running for the door. Pulling it open, I find Tessa standing there with Hazel in her car seat. “I’ll take that.” I snatch the car seat from her hands, making her laugh.
“Someone missed their baby. Most parents are eager to get a break,” she says, stepping inside. “I know I have my moments.”
“Not us,” Aiden says. “Our baby girl is an angel.”
“Just you wait,” Tessa warns her brother. “Once she hits two, you’re gonna start going grey.”
Smiling, I take Hazel out of the car seat and snuggle her sleeping form to my chest. I sigh happily, inhaling her sweet baby scent. I missed her so much.
Pressing a kiss to the top of her head, I watch the chaos around me.
Aiden and Tessa are arguing over how Hazel will be a breeze for the rest of her life. Poor man is fooling himself, but I’m not going to be the one to tell him.
Thomas is trying to help Nolan with whatever he’s cooking, and Nolan is not having any of it.
I smile, shaking my head just as my three best friends come filing into the house, followed by Macy.
Taking a moment to listen, I hear the mention of a few guys—Macy’s childhood best friends if I remember correctly. They’re all arguing over the fact Macy needs to give them a chance, but she’s not having any of it.
“Life might be a little chaotic sometimes,” I whisper to Hazel, brushing my lips against her hair. “But I promise to make sure it’s only the good kind.”
Since coming to Snow Valley, my life has been non-stop. Some good. Some I’d have gladly gone a lifetime without.
But in the end, I always had the people most important to me by my side. And I know no matter what, I'd never be alone again.
I have my best friends, my family, my daughter, and my naughty mountain men.
What more could an Omega want?
The End.
