Chapter 53 Gift!!
The next morning Eva woke up rubbing her eyes and found herself alone in the room. The bright sunlight coming into the room was a clue that it’s near afternoon time when she got up.
Eva held her head as she felt a throbbing headache; soon she felt nauseous, and she made a run towards the washroom to throw up.
After throwing up her guts out, she started feeling dizzy again.
With some steps, she entered the bedroom and her eyes spotted the maid holding a coffee mug and some medicines in a tray
She got sprawled on the couch the maid forwarded her tray
“Take this, madam; it will help you with your hangover
“Hmm hangover, did I get drunk? “ she tried to remember last night’s happenings but she couldn’t recall much, as the last thing she remembered was drinking some shots with Samantha.
Eva kept her thoughts aside and gulped the pill, followed by a hot cup of coffee. After some time, Eva felt some relief in her headache, so she took a refreshing shower. Maybe it will help her condition too
After taking a relaxing bath, she came out and found the maid also present in the room, which surprised her.
The maid forwarded a bag to her
"Sir, send this for you and ask you to get ready in this dress; he also told me to help you if you needed any help in getting ready.
He is waiting for you for breakfast."
"Hmm, no, I mean I will manage; you can leave." maid did her job and left the room
This unexpected gesture of Stephen Eva was feeling confused. He opened the packet and was amazed by the view of the sundress. It was absolutely stunning. Eva was trying to know the reason for Stephen’s gift too, with no occasion. Still, she got ready in the dress.
It shocked the moment she reached the dining table and saw Stephen wearing a pair of t-shirts and shorts, She just got settled on the seat next to Stephen
The maids started serving their plates, and Eva noticed Stephen didn’t wish her good morning like other days, even though he was ignoring her.
Eva focused on the food first, but thoughts about last night kept spreading to her: “Is he behaving like this? Did something happen last night that I am oblivious to too? I hope I didn’t create some scene.”
Eva's thoughts were running in every way possible, Stephen's voice broke her trail of thoughts
“After finishing your breakfast, reach at the beach; I will wait for you."
Eva gaped at him and gave a nod at him to agree with his words. Stephen left the dining room and soon exited the villa.
Eva lost her appetite listening to his cold tone; she was now almost convinced that something occurred last night., which made Stephen furious.
Somehow Eva finished her juice and decided to make her way to the beach. He doesn’t want to upset him more.
After reaching the beachside, she found some people around, and he was busy in some kind of discussion with them.
Eva reached near her and stood near Stephen. The other people greeted Eva and she replied with a nod as all of them were strangers to her
"Here she is, my beautiful wife Eva. And they all are here to help us in water sports."
"Water sports!!”
"Yes, dear, don’t you like it?
“I don’t know; I never tried it."
"No issues; let’s explore it together; they all will take care of our safety.”
Eva was surprised by his tone, which was filled with love and care. The ladies of the team started helping Eva with the costume and instructing her safety measures.
Eva was excited like a child. She was a little nervous, but her excitement overcame the fear. Stephen was observing her joyful face from a distance. He was glad that his plan worked, and at last Eva is having some fun.
The moment Eva stepped onto the speedboat, her palms became cold and sweat beads appeared on her face, but the next moment she felt a warm hand around her hands. she looked up and found Stephen holding her hand; he gave an assuring smile at her
“No need to get scared when I am with you."
Eva just gave a nod to him, and soon they reached the particular place between the sea, which is considered good for scuba diving. The trainer again repeated all the instructions, and soon Eva and Stephen dived into the sea to witness the beautiful world inside the water.
Eva was mesmerized by the view of so many different types of fish.
Stephen was always close to her so that she could not get hurt in any way.
After a scuba diving session, the couple enjoyed other sports like water surfing. paragliding.
Stephen noticed how Eva enjoyed her day with different types of water sports.
After depending the complete day on the activities, it was evening time when Stephen passed Eva another gift, which was a beautiful body con dress
This time Eva didn’t feel uneasy as Stephen made her day so memorable; rather, she was excited to know what Stephen has planned more.
She got ready in that dress, her hair was set in a bun, she put on light makeup, and soon she made her way towards the beach.
Her breath got hitched when she found Stephen standing on the beach, well dressed in a suit. No matter how much she wanted to deny it, it is a fact that Stephen Smith is a drop-dead gorgeous man.
When their eyes met, Eva had to struggle to move her eyes from him. Stephen smirked at her condition; he reached near her and forwarded his hand. Eva gave a puzzled look at Stephen, but she held his hand.
Stephen placed a kiss on the back of her palm, and Eva gaped at him in surprise.
“Shall we, wife?”
Eva just gave a nod in agreeing with him
Stephen gleamed at her and held her hand in his firm grip. Eva felt his warm hands cover her soft hand. She was so busy fighting with her fascination that she didn’t notice ahead what was waiting for her.
When Stephen halted his steps, Eva stopped behind him. When she looked ahead, she gasped in surprise as a beautiful yacht was waiting for them
Eva squealed in excitement, “Oh my God! Are we getting on in this? God, such a beauty it is. Wait, where is my phone? Stephen, please click my pictures here. I will send them to my friends."
Eva got hold of her phone and passed it to Stephen; she posed in front of the yacht. Stephen chuckled at her excitement while he clicked some snaps of her.
Finishing off with the pictures, Stephen again reached out to Eva and held her hand to help her get on the yacht.
Eva was excited like a child who just fetched her favorite candy. Stephen was following her with a smile on his face; every now and then Eva used to halt on some spot and make Stephen click her snaps.
Stephen was loving the way she was exhibiting her right to him; he was following her orders like a perfect husband. Eva squealed again as it started progressing in the sea.
Stephen chuckled at her actions, and that was heard by Eva; she felt embarrassed by her stupid behavior and started rubbing her palms in apprehension.
"Hey, it’s ok, I can understand what you must be feeling. But I didn’t tell you the best part yet."
“Hmm whok;”
“This is a gift for you, from my side."
“ Gift?”
“Yes”
“You mean this is mine now.”
“Definitely “
Eva screeched in joy and, in excitement, hugged Stephen in a tight hug
“ Thank you so much . “
Stephen was taken aback this time and held her in his arms.
Eva felt his hands around her. She wanted to break this hug as she hugged him in excitement, but the moment she felt his warm touch on her body, she felt goosebumps appearing on her body. She was feeling safe in his arms; she didn't know how her heart found peace near him.
Stephen was expecting that she would break the hug, but to his delight, nothing happened like that. She kept hugging him, and Stephen was glad that at least she is not refusing him now.
The next moment Eva pulled from the hug and kept her eyes down,
“Sorry… I was just excited.
Stephen pulled her close by holding her waist and told her
“You don’t have to apologize for touching someone who belongs to only you."
Eva looked up at him and found a smile plastered on his face. Stephen held the camera with one hand and told her
“Can I have a picture with my wife?”
Eva nodded and both stared at the camera; thus, a beautiful couple moment was captured
