In a hurry, Eva sprained her foot and was going to fall down when two muscular arms secured her, and Stephen met the hard floor holding Eva in her arms.
A grunt escaped from Stephen's mouth as his hand got hurt. Eva looked up at him and then pulled herself from his hold.
Stephen did not understand why she was behaving so distantly from him. Eva avoided looking at him and limped towards the corner of the deck because of her sprained foot.
Stephen also got up and noticed that they were to reach the island soon. He messages his team to arrange for some doctor as he was worried about Eva’s condition and he was sure that he needs some medical help with his hand too.
The moment they reached the island, Stephen reached to help her step down from the yacht. But Eva didn’t accept his help and stepped down from the yacht with difficulty.
Stephen remained focused on her movements, examining her actions. Her behavior quite perplexed him, and he wanted to talk to her about what had happened the previous night.
The moment they reached inside the villa, Eva rushed towards the bedroom with her loping foot and entered the washroom.
Stephen followed her into the bedroom. He could hear the shower sound. He gave her some privacy and will talk about the last night later.
Eva was trying to soothe her pain inside the shower.
When she woke up today, it shocked her to see her naked inside the sheets.
When she noticed the surroundings—the discarded clothes on the floor, her naked form, and the stunning pain between her legs.

The maid entered the room after knocking it, and Eva spotted a stranger with her
"Madam, the doctor is here to check your foot injury. “
Eva gave a nod. The doctor checked on her foot and then wrapped a crepe around her foot and prescribed some medicines. After the doctor left the room, the maid arranged breakfast for Eva in the bedroom only.
Eva was not feeling any appetite for food, but still she had some fruits with a glass of juice.
After some time, the maid removed the dishes from the room. Stephen entered the room, his gaze settled on Eva. He caught sight of the bandage on her foot. Stephen got settled on the same couch, keeping a distance from her
“How are you feeling now?”
Eva didn’t reply to his question. Stephen was getting worried now.
Stephen passed him some tablets. "Take this. It will help you with the pain."
Eva picked up the tablet and immediately took it with a large swig of water. Stephen’s eyes stayed fixed on her face in anticipation of reaction but her face was blank
“Eva. Last night.“
“I don’t want to talk about that. Not now, at least. “ Eva cut his talk in between.
Stephen sighed and started, “Well then, start packing. The maid will help you with it as we are leaving in the afternoon.”
Eva gave a nod at him, and Stephen got up to leave. Eva noticed the bandage on his hand; she knew he hurt himself while saving her from falling but she asked nothing about his injury
It was afternoon time when they started their journey to LA. After entering the jet, Eva took rest in the bedroom on the jet
She didn’t want to face Stephen.
Eva was deeply disappointed in her conduct from the night before. Even though she had been in the relationship for some time, she was still trying to find her footing and make it work for her.
Whereas Stephen was trying to get the reason for Eva’s distant behavior from him
