CHAPTER FOURTEEN #2
“Okay, cool, I’m your server for tonight, let me know if there’s anything you need.
Leave the sign there when you go to dance or someone else will steal your booth.
I’ll get your drinks,“ he said then moved away. I slid onto the banquette and looked around. There were eight booths either side of the dance floor, and I noticed that they could be curtained off for a little privacy. Something niggled at me as I looked around, and then I realized what it was. It was the people in business attire, men and women standing in two’s and three’s by the bar seemingly locked in conversation.
Was there a corporate office near by? A couple of the booths had people sitting there tapping away on laptops, and again, I thought it odd for someone to bring their laptop into a dance club.
Why were laptops allowed, but phones were not?
But the song changed to a 70s disco track and I recognized this one!
My eyes became accustomed to the strobing lights.
People were losing themselves in the music, all supposedly drug, and alcohol free.
I searched the crowd until I hit pay dirt.
Oh yeah! My dick twitched as I shamelessly ogled Jack swaying in time to the throbbing, luscious synth intro of Donna Summer’s I Feel Love.
The beat thrummed in my bones and arousal lit up every cell in my body.
Jack’s movements were trance-like and hypnotic.
He was the most beautiful man I’d ever seen.
Jack Boyd was the only drug I needed and I was ready to get high.
The tempo changed and the breathy vocals came in, that’s when Jack’s eyes found me.
He mimed twirling and throwing a lasso at me.
Damn, it was so corny, but I laughed and improvised being caught; my arms pinned to my sides as I slid out of the booth and made my way through the crowd to my date.
Reaching him, Jack automatically claimed me, placing his hands on my hips, pulling me in flush to his groin and sweaty chest. Even that action, being manhandled and claimed was hot as hell.
As if magnetized, my left leg wedged between his thighs and we were moving together in a sensual rhythm.
I ran my hands up his chest, threaded my arms around Jack’s neck and we swayed.
I was eighteen again in my first gay bar, fired up by the electric sensations of having a man grinding against me for the very first time.
Jack’s eyes were on me as if he couldn’t get enough.
His glistening lips were moving and I realized he was mouthing the lyrics ‘I feel love’, and holy hell, I was feeling something too!
My hard-on nudged against Jack’s, and I couldn’t help but rut against his bulge.
I supposed I could easily get off like this, right here, in the middle of this crowd of sober people, but I was in for a little tease and denial foreplay to make things so much hotter when we got back to our suite.
I gripped Jack’s butt, my gaze darting from Jack’s eyes to his mouth.
There was a feeling of euphoria, of transcendence, as if no one existed by us.
I pressed my lips to the shell of his ear.
“I can’t wait to get you back to our hotel room. I’m gonna fuck you so good!” I said in a raspy whisper and felt Jack shudder and tug me closer. He ran his nose up my throat, kissed my jaw and when he got to my ear said, “Is that right? How are you gonna fuck me, Handsome?”
“Any way you want, tell me what you need and I’ll give it to you,” I replied.
Jack pulled back and our eyes met, his were burning coals of desire asking me if I meant it.
Words weren’t enough now, and so I clasped the back of his head, pulled him closer, but instead of kissing him I licked a stripe up his cheek.
He tasted of salt, and sweat. “Licked it so it’s mine, sunshine! ” I grinned.
“You’re so corny! We’re playing all the hits tonight!
” he laughed. When the song ended and another started Jack led me to our booth and we both slumped onto the banquette.
Two frosty tall glasses of iced peach tea with straws and all the trimmings awaited us.
Jack removed the props from his glass, and dumped them on the table.
Then, he downed the glass of tea in a series of long gulps.
The sight of his exposed throat, his Adams apple bobbing ramped up my arousal once more.
I followed his lead and drank the whole refreshing glass.
“You know if this was a gay club we’d be fucking in a back room by now. ” Jack stated.
“Nope, not me!” I retorted adamantly. “I’ve never been so horny that I’d want to fuck in a stinking jizz stained back room. I’m a classy guy, Jack, surely you know I like the luxuries of life,” I countered. “Every orgasm is a gift; you don’t give gifts wrapped in soiled packaging!”
“Hmmm. You’ve got a point!” Jack’s eyes were sparkling. He really did get a natural high from dancing.
“Want another?” I asked, gesturing to his glass.
“Yeah, I’m really hot!”
“Yes, you are! I enjoyed watching you dance,” I smirked. “Will you give me a private dance when we get back to the hotel?” I teased.
Jack’s brown eyes were flecked with gold and mischief.
“I’ll give you anything you want!” he leaned in and pressed a brief, chaste kiss to my lips.
It wasn’t nearly enough, but the desire and anticipation for more was exciting, rejuvenating.
I can’t recall ever feeling giddy like this, so needy for a man.
Sleeping with Jack felt inevitable, as if everything awful that had happened in my life was for a reason, to bring me here to him.
“Gonna take a leak and get back out there,” Jack announced as he slid out of the booth.
“I’ll get more drinks.” I looked around for our server, Dieter, but he was nowhere to be seen.
And so, with Jack away to find the rest room, I pushed through the crowd to the bar.
A patron was just moving away with their bottles of Corona Cero, so I slid into the vacated space.
I waited for the bartender to finish serving other patrons and notice me.
I pivoted and observed the people crowding the bar.
No one caught my eye, and as phones were banned, there was no chance of slyly taken photos that could end up on tabloid websites.
Away from the US, I was just another tourist in a strange land, and not fresh meat for the gutter press.
I revelled in waiting my turn, and not expecting to be served first because of my wealth and celebrity status.
It was levelling. Here, I’m nobody, just a regular dude out for a good time.
“Ah, hello again! Small world!” A Scandinavian accented voice said to my left. I turned to see a tall, wiry, blond-haired man grinning at me. I returned a look of confusion.
“Huge…Hugh Jorgen, from the hotel. The booking mix up,” he prompted in a rush.
Of all the clubs in Berlin, Hugh was at the same one as Jack and me. Weird! “Ah, yeah, yeah. Hi, how’s it going at the conference?” I asked conversationally as people pushed past, making Hugh have to press in closer.
“Oh, you know how these things are. Too many loud people convinced they are more important than anyone else,” he scoffed.
“Everyone is going crazy with hyping AI security product prototypes that don’t really work yet, if ever they do!
” he added. “If you have an investment portfolio, do not invest in AI…from what I’ve seen it is a fool’s game, the bubble will one day burst,” he added assuredly, tapping his nose as if he had some kind of insider information.
“Thanks for the advice. Yeah, that’s not my scene.”
“Right, right,” Hugh nodded over-keenly.
“What are you drinking? Can I buy you a drink?” he asked.
His pushy attitude irritated me a little.
I wasn’t here for idle chatter. “Sorry, man, I’m on a date,” I explained, my voice raised so I could be heard.
Those words hadn’t left my mouth in years.
It felt curious to say them and made me eager to get back to Jack. The bartender noticed me and came over.
“American, yes?”
I gave her a wide, winning smile. “What can I get for you?” she said in German accented English.
“Two iced peach teas, and whatever my friend is having,” I said pulling my Faraday anti-skimming credit card sleeve from my back pocket.
Hugh shook his head and held up a palm. “No, no, is okay, I’m cool!” he replied placing his bottle of non-alcoholic Heineken onto the counter beside me. The bartender shrugged and turned away to make my order.
“Oh, is that yours?” Hugh said and confused I turned to see he was pointing to a keycard on the floor at my feet. I stooped to pick it up. It was indeed a keycard for a room at the Adler-Kandinski. It must have fallen out when I removed the credit card sleeve.
“Thanks, man,” I said, and after presenting my credit card to a card reader, I slid it into my back pocket. I gathered up the two glasses of iced tea, nodded to Hugh, and said, “Have a good night.”
“You too, man,” he replied, and then I was easing my way back through the crowd to our booth.
I slid onto the banquette and watched the throbbing mass of bodies to see my date in the middle of it all, jumping around to Firestarter by The Prodigy.
The song then changed to a Depeche Mode track.
Jack turned and noticed I was back at the booth, and edged his way through the crowd.
He shook his ass and wriggled his hips, his brown eyes pinning me with the full-on sexual prowess that made me weak.
Jack understood how to use his body to tease, and he knew how potent his direct eye contact was–letting me know he desired me and only me.
I was a puddle of goo, boneless, aroused as all hell, lost. I couldn’t think of anything else to do but slide out of the booth and dance with my date.
