Chapter 12 #3

Cyra began to move, and I clamped my hands on her hips as she slid herself all the way up my length before plunging back down.

Fucking hells. I wasn’t going to last.

Cyra moaned as she rocked her core against me, and she let her head fall back to expose the column of her throat.

I couldn’t help it. I bolted upright and wrapped my arms around her before I fastened my mouth to her neck.

She cried out in surprise, but the cry turned into a whimper as I teased her neck with my tongue, lips, and teeth.

She ground herself harder against me, and I put one hand back on the bed to give myself enough leverage to thrust up into her.

Her head lolled on her neck, and I remembered she was still drunk.

“Cyra, are you alright?” I asked.

Her eyes flew open, and I swore I caught a flash of red in them before she pushed me down on my back again and began to ride me like she was being pursued by bandits.

I cursed again and grabbed her waist as I tried to hold on for dear life while she drove herself down onto my cock.

She had one hand braced against my chest while her other gripped my shoulder, and her nails dug deep into my skin.

“Gods, you’re beautiful,” I told her through gritted teeth as she continued to fuck me wildly. My eyes drifted lower to watch her breasts bounce with each thrust. I wanted to touch them, but I didn’t dare let go of her waist for fear she’d fly off the bed.

I couldn’t hold back my own urgency at this point. I bucked my hips up into her, meeting her thrusts so we were driven together almost viciously. The sound of our bodies slapping together echoed in the room.

“Bressen! Gods, Bressen!” Cyra cried out.

I felt her inner walls clamp around me as she screamed out her climax, and what little self-control I’d had left broke.

I flipped her quickly so she was beneath me, then drove myself into her as far as I could, once, twice, then a final time as I exploded.

My seed spilled into her, hot and thick as she squeezed around my throbbing cock, and my legs trembled with the power of my release.

I struggled to hold myself up as my limbs turned to jelly, and my breathing came in shuddering gasps.

It was a few seconds before I could move again, and I bent to kiss Cyra, but a red flash in my periphery caught my attention as I pulled back. I jolted as a pair of red eyes blinked out of the shadows, one eye blinking half a second after the other.

“Fucking hells!” I shouted as I launched myself up off Cyra and put my body between her and the creature crouched on the corner of the bed next to the pillows.

“Bressen, what is it?” Cyra asked from behind me. I felt her hand on my shoulder, and I put my arms out to hold her back.

I narrowed my gaze as the red eyes blinked again in that staggered pattern. Gods above, was it…?

“Come here,” I ordered, and a moment later the little demoni that had taken a liking to Cyra at Revenmyer crept out of the shadows.

The tension in my body eased. I had no idea why the thing was here, but at least I knew…or thought it wasn’t a threat.

“Bressen?” Cyra asked again, and I felt her peek over my shoulder. “What…is that doing here?”

“Good question,” I said, then addressed the demoni itself. “What are you doing here?”

The thing blinked again but didn’t answer.

I hadn’t necessarily expected it to. The demoni obeyed my orders, but I never communicated with them beyond that.

They understood and followed my commands whether I voiced them aloud or in my mind, but I never received any messages back from them.

Truth be told, I had no idea what level of sentience they had.

The ridiculousness of the situation hit me then. Here I was, kneeling naked on the bed, my cock still half-hard and dripping with my seed, as I faced off against a wayward demoni that had somehow wandered into our bedroom and watched my wife fuck me.

“Go back to Revenmyer,” I ordered it, “and don’t leave again until you’re summoned.”

The thing looked over my shoulder at Cyra, and I wondered if it had sensed something off with her and come to investigate. It wasn’t normal for demoni to act on their own, but it was clear there was something different about this one and that it felt connected to Cyra.

The creature blinked a final time and dissolved into smoke.

I turned to Cyra. “I’m sorry about that. They don’t usually leave Revenmyer unless called. I’m not sure what’s wrong with that one.”

Cyra sank down off her knees to sit on the bed. Her eyes fluttered, and she swayed a bit.

Gods, she was still very drunk, and I was an ass for fucking her when she was like this.

“I…I don’t feel well,” she said as she pressed a hand to her forehead.

All the excitement had made her blood pump faster, which had sent the alcohol screaming through her veins.

I rolled off the bed quickly and leaned over to lift Cyra off it as she wrapped her arms around my neck. If I could get her to throw up, maybe that would help.

I carried her into the bathing chamber, threw a towel onto the floor in front of the toilet, and set her down on it.

She immediately lurched her head over the bowl and vomited into it without me having to do anything.

I made a mad grab for her hair to pull it back from her face as she continued to cough and retch.

“Get it all out,” I said as I ran my hand in circles over her back. She shivered, and I kicked myself for not bringing a blanket or my jacket. “Wait here. I’ll be right back,” I told her.

I started to get up, but her small hand landed on my forearm.

“Bressen, don’t leave me,” she said, her voice small and still slurred.

“I’m going to get you a blanket,” I said and tried to rise again, but she tightened her grip on my arm.

“Don’t leave me,” she whispered. “Please don’t ever leave me.”

I went deathly still at the desperation in her voice. She didn’t mean now. She meant ever, and I felt a stab of undeserved anger toward her brothers. I knew they had to do what was best for them, but coming on the heels of Aramis’s death, their departure felt like abandonment to Cyra.

I eased down onto the floor and tried not to flinch as my ass hit the cold marble.

Cyra seemed to be done throwing up, so I pulled her against me and wrapped my arms around her to keep her warm.

I wasn’t planning to sit here long, but Cyra needed a minute, just one minute, where she was assured that I was here and that I wasn’t going anywhere.

I squeezed her even tighter and felt the slackness in her body. A quick peek into her mind told me she was asleep, so she wouldn’t hear my next words, but I said them anyway.

“I’m not going anywhere, my love. I’m afraid you’re stuck with me, now and until the Nemesis parts us.”
