Epilogue
McKenna
S ix weeks later…
Austin had been out on the ranch for countless hours, helping Booker do some shit I didn’t understand with their cattle.
I’d been laying atop the comforter on my bed for what felt like forever, naked and waiting for him to arrive.
He told me he’d be home at seven, and it was now seven-thirty.
I was about to call it quits on my surprise when the front door opened and shut, and the sound of his familiar boot steps echoed down the hall.
He’d moved into my house the day after the attack, right after he’d dragged me to the doctor to ensure I was fine.
And I was.
Just like I’d told him.
Though, he’d been somewhat right in that I did have a concussion. I simply wouldn’t admit that to his face, though.
As for the diner, we weren’t sure what would happen to it. Dan had mentioned potentially taking it over as he loved that place like it was his own, but he was a cook, not a manager. He had a lot to learn if that was the route he wanted to go.
With the chain looped around my hand where it was lying in my lap, I waited for Austin’s form to appear in the doorway. And when it did, he stopped in his tracks.
His ravenous gaze took in every inch of me, and he leaned a shoulder against the doorframe. “Welcome home to you, too.” He grinned.
“Get on your knees.” I was tired of waiting.
Without hesitation, he obeyed, dropping to the floor so hard I’d be surprised if his knees didn’t bruise.
Slowly, I slid off the bed and stood. “Now crawl to me.”
Dirt-stained clothes and all, he placed his palms on the floor and began to prowl toward me, never once breaking eye contact. Once he was at my feet, he stopped and perched back on his knees.
I unwound the chain from my hand, undoing the buckle on the leather to wrap it around his neck and clasp it tight. His mouth parted as I yanked on the chain, pulling his face closer to mine. “You’re late.”
“My apologies, kitten.”
God, he smelled so good when he was fresh off the ranch. It made me want to forfeit the foreplay and jump his bones right then and there. But he deserved this for making me wait. Plus, he told me I could a while ago, and me being me, I was bound to play at some point.
“It’s not polite to leave a girl waiting,” I chastised. “But seeing as you missed dinner, you must be starving.”
I leaned down to hover my lips over his, my clit throbbing with the need for him .
“I’m ravenous, baby.” His eyes nearly crossed with lust as he begged, “Feed me.”
“Good boy.” Then I was pulling the chain, bringing his parted lips to my pussy. The moment we made contact, he sucked my clit into his mouth, and I gasped.
He groaned against me, sending a blissful vibration through my core.
I tangled my hands in his hair, pressing him firmer against my pussy.
His tongue lapped out as he worked to get further between my legs.
He licked from my clit to my entrance, spearing his tongue inside of me.
I tugged at his strands, gripping the chain on the leash so hard it was sure to leave indents in my skin.
He buried himself between my legs until I had to lean against the bed, and then he was placing a palm flat on my stomach to ease me back. Lying down, he grabbed my legs under my knees and hooked them around his face. I tightened them, keeping him plastered to my core as he feasted.
And then, when he brought me over the edge into oblivion, I screamed his name.
Once my breathing evened out and I was able to see clearly, I craned my neck forward to find him staring at me, cheeks and mouth glistening with my release.
“You’re so fucking beautiful, McKenna,” he panted.
I tugged on the leash, dragging him up my body until he was hovering over me. “You’re not too bad yourself, cowboy.”
He lowered to press a kiss on my neck, nipping at my earlobe. “Say you’re mine.”
“I’m yours.” The two words were full of breath and desire for more.
“Say you love me,” he commanded .
“I love you.”
He worked his mouth down to my breast, dragging my nipple past his teeth to suck.
“Are you still hungry?” I asked, practically begging him to wreak another orgasm out of me.
He released my breast, a devilish glint in his gaze as he smiled up at me. “Starving.”
Then he disappeared between my legs and didn’t stop. Time passed, my mind a mess of desire and love.
With him, I was safe.
With him, I was me.
And for him, I’d do anything.
Austin broke me down and built me up, slamming past lifelong defenses and wrapping me in his caress.
With him, I never had to fear.
I just had to love.
