New Orleans Collection: A Reverse Harem Collection
CHAPTER 1
Viola Guidice is not the first person I’ve been assigned to watch by Mateo, but it certainly is the first time I’m enjoying it. I’ve been watching her for weeks and I’m not the only one following her. Though, she knows the men her brother, Dante and head of the Guidice crime family, have on her for protection.
It’s clear she only begrudgingly accepts being protected and followed. I have no doubt that she understands why she is being watched. She grew up as a mafia princess the same way my brothers and sister grew up—knowing the gravity of the life we were born into. The Falsini family, my family, has always operated in the shadows of the Guidice family, but there’s always been enough crime and money to go around.
Our father was content with his place in life. He was fine with the scraps of business he was able to feed on. When he died six months ago from cancer, Mateo, who always took his role as being the eldest triplet, wanted more than what our family has been allowed to be part of in the city.
We all had our roles growing up. I’ve always been good at getting information and investigating. Massimo, the youngest out of the three of us, is our moral compass and the muscle. Mateo is the cold-hearted visionary.
Mateo sees big things for our family. Massimo has tried to temper his expectations, which I agree is a good idea. If Mateo thinks we’re going to steal the throne of the king, the seat where Dante sits, he’s wrong.
I might not be content with the scraps our dad was given, but we don’t need to rule the city. I’m afraid that Mateo’s drive is more about respect than power. The problem is that he’ll go to any lengths to get that respect. If he must do it by force, he won’t back down and if power comes with it, he’ll be even happier.
I know he has some sort of plan involving Viola, but he hasn’t shared with me what it is. He just informed me that I need to watch her and gather as much intel as I can. I don’t know what he thinks he can use when the woman spends her time shopping and hanging out with her best friend, Fleur Whelan. Fleur is a princess in her own right in this city, but to the Devil’s Saints Motorcycle Club.
The Devil’s Saints are aligned with the Guidice family and have been for years. Getting the Saints on our side would be a better play than going after Guidice and using Viola to do it. Unfortunately, we’ve tried that route and it didn’t work. The Saints are loyal to the Guidice family.
Using a woman goes against everything our father taught us. There are some things which are sacred, even in our world, and women are one of them. Family and loyalty are also high on the list. I don’t think Mateo wants to harm Viola and it’s the only reason I’ve been willing to follow her.
Tonight I caught Fleur and Viola sneaking out of the back entrance of Viola’s place after they looked like they were going to stay in for some sort of girl’s night. I instantly perked up. They left the man watching the place unaware in the front as they snuck through a few backyards and hopped in a ride.
After watching Viola for weeks, I wouldn’t have thought she was so sneaky. It makes me respect the woman a little more than I did. I was sure she was only good at spending money and being vapid. Now, I wonder if it’s an act and not who she really is.
Bella, our sister, is the worst kind of woman. If she wasn’t family, I would have written her off years ago. She’s the epitome of superficial. She tried for the longest time to get Dad to merge the Falsini and Guidice family through an arranged marriage to Dante. She wasn’t interested in what it would do for our family, she just wanted to be closer to the power Dante holds.
The whole notion made me sick, especially since she wanted to use the death of Angelo Guidice, when an arsonist was burning our city down around us, and Dante’s grief, to make the agreement happen. I was relieved to find out Dante saw right through her bullshit. Their marriage would have been a disaster for the plans Mateo has always had for the family.
When Dante found his woman, saving her from a fire the arsonist set and not allowing Jasmine to find the same fate of his father, Bella still tried to make a play for Dante. It was embarrassing and the shame Bella brought down on the family meant our father sent her away. It’s better this way.
I can only hope she’s staying out of trouble, but I’m not holding my breath.
Maybe I should have watched Viola more closely because it’s clear she likes trouble as well. The longer I follow the car she’s in with her best friend, the surer I am of their destination and my cock is more than a little curious to find out if I’m right. I fucking hope I am. The women were dressed to impress or start a fucking riot, my money’s on riot.
When they pull through wrought iron gates after speaking to a security person and start to head up the gravel driveway leading to a sprawling plantation home, I’m practically salivating and a little dazed with disbelief. I would have never thought Viola Guidice would be at Club Sin.
My brothers and I have been members since the place opened but haven’t used those perks much since our father died and we started focusing on the family business. Clearly, we should have spent more time here. I’m full of questions about Viola and her visits to the sex club which is all about discretion.
How long has Viola been a member? What does she enjoy behind the walls of the club? How many times has she played?
Club Sin caters to all kinds of kinks. You can go with a partner or find one, or multiple, within the walls of the mansion which sits on well-maintained grounds. The thought of her engaging in nights of passion with anyone inside Club Sin has my blood boiling with anger, even though I know it shouldn’t.
She’s nothing to me. We’ve never even met. She’d probably try and run the other way if we did considering the tense relationship between my family and hers.
Still, I want to go inside and find out how many people she’s engaged with in a night of fun. Then I’ll beat them until they’ve forgotten the way her body feels under their hands and the face she makes when she’s awash with pleasure.
It doesn’t make any fucking sense.
The large trees on the property have moss hanging from them and the whole estate screams of New Orleans charm and history. The outside is stately, but the inside is full of debauchery. Delicious as it is.
I call Mateo, who answers on the second ring, “Don’t tell me you’ve lost her already.”
I scoff, “Well, good evening to you too, brother.” When he doesn’t respond and the silence stretches between us, I sigh. “I didn’t lose her, but you couldn’t guess where Viola is right now.”
“Shopping,” there’s a hint of disgust in his deadpan voice and it sounds like he’s a little farther from the phone, which tells me I’m probably on speaker with both my brothers.
“No.” Glee fills me again with the thought of being able to use Club Sin to get close to Viola, something even Mateo hasn’t come up with as a plan yet. The man might be the mastermind behind the plays we’ve been making in the city, including an arms deal with Nikolai Orlov, but he couldn’t have foreseen this. “She’s with Fleur at Club Sin.”
“What?” I blink a few times at the rage in Massimo’s voice. He’s normally soft spoken and quiet. He’s also the only one out of the three of us who has been reticent about following Viola. I haven’t been—she’s sexy as fuck and I enjoy following her around everywhere. Probably more than I should. “There’s no fucking way,” Massimo’s voice is incredulous.
“If there was no fucking way then I wouldn’t be sitting outside of the gate right now after watching the car they’re in go through and up the drive.” I shrug even though my brothers can’t see me. “I bet they’re members since the interaction at the gate was quick.”
“We’re on our way. Head inside but wait for us. We have things to discuss,” Mateo’s voice is clipped before the line goes dead.
I roll my eyes; our eldest brother can be so fucking dramatic sometimes.
When I roll up to the gate, it only takes a moment for me to give them my name and be let through. While driving up towards the mansion, the car Viola and Fleur arrived in passes me heading back toward the gate. Adrenaline pumps through me at the prospect of getting closer to Viola.
There’s something about her. She’s strong, but in an unassuming way. It’s clear every time I watch her. She can be flitting around on some shopping trip, but there’s something solid inside of her, something that won’t be beaten down, as if she would stand in front of a hurricane and tell it to back down.
It doesn’t take me long to get inside and I’m sure I have Mateo to thank for keeping our membership solvent even though we haven’t visited lately. Well, I haven’t; I don’t keep up with all my brother’s activities. I learned a long time ago not to ask questions I don’t want the answers to.
When I find the ladies, they’re seated at the bar and Viola is looking around with interest in her eyes. The idea of her not hiding who she is, even though the club ensures discretion for its members, turns me on and fills me with an anger I can’t name and don’t understand. Her beauty is on display for everyone to see and I’m not the only one who has noticed, which is clear from the way some of the men are looking at her.
Club Sin might want to protect the people who come here for a night of fun, but that doesn’t mean all the members do. She has no anonymity here and no protection. The thought of someone taking advantage of her makes me want to steal her away and lock her up.
I barely give the waitress a glance when she delivers a tumbler of Hammond Whiskey to my table, but I’m grateful for it. It’s the only thing stopping me from going over to the woman who has entranced me. I don’t know how long I wait, but I hardly notice when my brothers sit down on either side of me and drinks that match mine are deposited in front of them.
“She doesn’t belong here,” Massimo grumbles and I’m only mildly surprised to find his expression full of petulance.
“It works in our favor,” Mateo’s voice is cold and detached.
He’s watching Viola like a predator watching his prey. I can see the wheels turning in his mind, his eyes fixed on Viola. It sometimes amazes me how identical and different we are. When I glance at Massimo, his eyes are warm and full of interest as he watches her.
There is something about Viola which pulls me into her orbit. I’ve been trying to deny it and tell myself it’s just because of the job and because I’ve been following her. I’m not so far gone that I don’t know I’ve been lying to myself.
“She looks sexy as fuck,” my voice is full of teasing innuendo.
Massimo’s eyes snap to mine and narrow while Mateo’s lips curve into a grin which would rival an evil villain.
“And here we thought she’s only about shopping and spending time with her friend.” Mateo tilts his head after taking a drink, his eyes fixed on her. “Apparently there is more to the princess then we thought.” His eyes find mine searchingly. “Are you sure she hasn’t come here before?”
I shrug one shoulder casually, having nothing to hide. “Not in the time I’ve been watching her. I didn’t find the membership on her financials either.”
My calculating brother smirks. “I think we’ve underestimated her.” Massimo scoffs; he’s been saying there is more to the woman since Mateo set his sights on her. “I know, little brother. I should have listened to you,” there is not a bit of remorse in his tone.
“Now, the question becomes what we do with this information,” I offer up the words knowing full well our eldest brother already has a plan forming in his head and I barely stop myself from laughing at the way Massimo’s fists clench.
He can’t stand this. The idea of using a woman hasn’t sat right with him from the start. Add in how gorgeous Viola is and he’s been even more quiet than usual about the whole thing. Still, I’ve seen his wheels turning as if he’s coming up with a plan of his own. If his plan involves us burying our cocks inside the lovely mafia princess, I’ll gladly follow along.
I would have to be out of my mind not to go along with a plan involving getting Viola between us. She’s too tempting not to want.
It’s been years since we’ve shared a woman between us. The demands of the business and our own need for independence from each other means we didn’t indulge like we used to years ago. It’s probably for the best because it’s not easy for a woman to handle one of us, let alone all three.
Something tells me Viola would be up for the challenge. Her laughter across the room grabs my attention. I’m momentarily stunned by the way her dark hair shines under the lights of the lounge, her head tilted back as she laughs at something Fleur said.
Viola’s best friend is a beautiful woman in her own right, but I haven’t glanced at her more than once since I started watching my charge. Huh. Strange.
Now that I think about it, I haven’t looked twice at any other beautiful women either. It’s as if all I can see is Viola Guidice.
I can only hope she doesn’t see what the wolf has in store for her before the plan, whatever it is, can be put into motion.
