VICTOR

“That’s the last box,” I said to my brother. He looked over his shoulder at me.

“No offense, because I know this isn’t my business and shit, but this better be the last move for at least the next twelve months, man,” Trager muttered. I laughed at his remark and shrugged.

It would be.

The house Lucy and I were moving into was fucking perfect for us now and for whatever might come in the future.

“I’m serious, Victor. I’m not a damn work horse here, dropping freebies and my weekends at a drop of a hat for you assholes.”

“Cut the crap. You own a moving company.” I chuckled, shaking my head.

“And you said you didn’t want any motherfuckers you didn’t know in your girl’s place, so who did that leave? Me. Because my employees won’t do and our brothers are all too busy in love, planning weddings or waiting on babies.”

Trager wasn’t wrong.

That was the truth.

Jonas, Lucas, and Hollis were all busy but had promised to help us unpack tomorrow.

“You brought your pretty little assistant to help, but you haven’t let her do anything more than hold a clipboard.”

“Hey,” Tray clipped. “Keep your eyes in their place before I tell Lucy you’re looking around,” he threatened. I rolled my eyes.

“Jesus! You know it’s not like that. I just mean you brought her, so you could have her help.” I knew exactly how much of an asshole I sounded like but didn’t give a shit.

Something was up with Trager.

It had been since he’d hired Sam as his assistant online.

I had been lucky enough to be there when she’d showed up and wasn’t what he’d assumed a Sam would look like, and he about lost his shit. He’d been rude and more than his usual standoffish jackass, which was saying something.

Yet he’d kept her on.

Lucy had been around the two of them enough, too, to where she’d asked me if I thought something was going on between the two of them.

I’d told her no in the moment. Trager wasn’t the kind of guy to fuck his employees.

Not that having a moving company would have too many women around for him to fuck.

But he had other side gigs, and the man might be a player, but he didn’t dip his toe in the company pool.

Yet Sam had twisted something up inside of him, and it was going to be fucking interesting to watch it untangle itself, that was for sure.

The back building door opened and shut. I looked over my shoulder to see my girl walking towards me wearing those sexy painted-on leggings and oversized Ghostface shirt.

This one had him holding a phone and saying, You hang up first! on her perfect chest.

“Thank you again, Tray, for all your help.” My sunny girl strode up to us and hugged my brother. Tray, unable to help himself, wrapped his arms around my girl and pulled back, a soft smile on his lips.

“You’re welcome. That’s what family is for.” My eyes were about to bug out.

“That’s what family is for?” I repeated and chuckled. “What about all the shit you were just spewing a minute ago?”

“She’s prettier to look at than your ugly face.” The door behind us opened and shut again, and this time, I lost Tray’s light brown eyes and his body wound up tight.

“That was the last box,” Sam said, still holding the clipboard to her chest. She was pretty, nowhere near as beautiful as my girl, but I could see whatever my brother was trying to clearly fight.

She was way too young and good for him and way out of his league. The guy had no damn chance at getting in there. Sam’s attention locked on Tray’s, and when he grunted and turned, the cold dismissal clear, I saw it.

A flicker of sad disappointment.

“Hurry up, or we’re going to run behind,” he scolded his sweet assistant over his shoulder. Sam let out a sigh.

“I should get to work. We will have you guys all unpacked quickly,” she promised and hurried off to an already waiting Trager at the passenger side of the truck, holding the door open for her.

Hmm… maybe Trager has more of a chance than he deserves?

“You should talk to him,” Lucy said quietly just as Tray shut the door, waved at us, and rounded the truck.

“Luc—“

“She likes him,” she said quietly. “I think he likes her, too, but the way he acts with her? He’s going to break her heart if he’s not careful.”

“He feels it. I just don’t think he knows what to do with it… yet.” I was sure Trager would get his head out of his ass. Or at least I sure hoped he would before it was too late.

“Hmm….” She kissed my shoulder and looked up at me. “You still sure about this?” she asked, and I smiled.

“You mean am I sure about the house we just bought and got keys for? A house where all our stuff is currently heading to?”

“Yes.” She giggled, and I pressed my lips to her forehead.

“I’m positive.” It was the easiest answer I’d given in my life.

“I want to spend my life with you, Sunshine.” I leaned down, and when her eyes caught mine, a breath hitched in the middle of my throat.

It had been the best two months of my life since Halloween.

But bringing our shit back and forth to one another’s place had got old quick.

I wasn’t getting any younger, and I knew there wasn’t a damn day I wanted to spend without us being under the same roof.

I pressed my lips to hers and by now should have known better.

One kiss, one touch, set my soul on fire when it came to her. By the time we pulled back, the two of us were breathless and panting for air. “We need to save that for tomorrow,” she whispered. My dick twitched with need.

“Tomorrow.” I winked with a devilish grin.

We’d have our new place set up, including a home office for Lucy. One where she would have a masked guest star making an appearance.

After we got together on Halloween night, her subscribers kept asking about me and about giving a show with her. When she’d brought it up, I’d told her there wasn’t anything I wouldn’t do for her.

And I meant it.

Her viewers had gone crazy for her masked daddy and the naughty things he did to his sunny girl behind closed doors. And tomorrow night? Regardless if everything was set up in her office or not, I had something special planned.

Mostly for her but for her viewers, too.

Maybe some people didn’t understand us or the fact I was okay with men watching and jerking off to my woman through a screen, but I didn’t care.

The daddy in me was more than confident in what we had and what I could provide for my sunshine.

And they were only looking at her through a screen while I had her, flesh and blood, in my bed every night and day all to myself.

And that was exactly where she would stay for the rest of my life.

Her hand slipped into mine as we walked to my car. I opened the door for her and watched as her hand rose and rested over my heart, stroking the spot softly. The place where she lived. The organ she’d stolen and would own till my last breath.

Lucy rose on the tips of her toes, and I bent to kiss her. Sweet and light. She pulled away with a smile full of promise to let me fuck her on any box or space in our new home the moment my grouchy-as-hell brother and his assistant were gone.

But tomorrow? Tomorrow would be fun.

A night where I would edge her and me into restless writhing messes, both obsessed with the other, but it would end with her wearing my ring and her screaming yes to marrying me while I pounded my cock deep inside her while her other little hole stretched around a pretty, pink jeweled plug.

And fuck, it was going to be good.
