Epilogue

NICOLETTA

Two Months Later

This section of the beach is empty, which is why we picked it and what makes it perfect. The shoreline curves into a sheltered cove, with the sunset burning just over the horizon, tinting the ocean with orange flecks.

It’s beauty adds to my exhilaration and excitement tinged with apprehension.

Bolt cups my face. “You’re even more beautiful in this light.”

“The biker can be romantic,” I tease.

“The biker wants his woman to relax,” Bolt counters.

His woman. Yes, I’d agreed to wear his patch, but, no, I still hadn’t gotten used to the “property” term. I understood the whole club commitment, and I’d seen it firsthand. How they all worked together taking down Clark Williams, then how they pampered and stood by me after I got shot.

In the last two months, the women of the Royal Harlots have been my support system and became my best friends, sharing with me the intricacies of club life.

Me sharing my honest feelings with other women was a new experience I embraced.

With their help, I secured a position at a local women’s shelter, with people who needed me.

I come home at night feeling fulfilled, and the best part—Bolt loves hearing about my day, and he and the Royal Bastards do their part for the community too.

We are in the process of putting together a carnival for local children, with the proceeds going to the shelter.

I also made a large donation from the money in the duffel bags. The rest of the money is secured for our future.

Clark Williams is being held without bail at the request of the attorney general, who claimed he was a menace to society and tried to threaten him with bodily harm.

Myself and the other Royal Bastards know the real reason—the attorney general doesn’t want it leaked that he had anything to do with Clark Williams. All Clark’s other connections died just as quickly.

Seems none of the rich and famous wanted to be tied to that burning ship.

My mother, while securing all the off-shore accounts, now runs a very successful podcast instructing women about the importance of knowing the men they’re married to and playing an active part in all things financial. To date, she has two million followers.

I never expected my life to be so satisfying without all the chains of my previous life weighing me down.

Bolt watches me closely, then leans in for another kiss, deepening it until my body surrenders. One look, one touch from this man and my insides flame.

He eases me back against the blanket, his lips moving down my neck, then to my nipples as he sucks one and then the other into his mouth.

“I want this to be for you as much as for me,” he mumbles against the soft flesh of my breast.

The ocean hits the shore harder, like it heard him.

My breath catches—not from fear. From the way he said it like he believed it was already true.

He lifts his body, and in one smooth move, wraps his arm around my waist and lifts me until my back is to his front. He easily finds my clit, coating his fingers with my cream.

When he leans in, it isn’t rushed. Nothing about him ever is when it matters. It’s slow enough that I could stop him if I want to. Slow enough that choosing not to makes it my decision.

He leans into my ear. “I want you to relax, baby girl. I want you to trust your man to make this right.”

I slowly nod, grinding my ass cheeks against his rigid cock. He gently spreads my cheeks, smoothing his fingers over my ass.

“I know you’re ready for me.” His cock presses against the tightness, and the world narrows to salt air, crashing waves, and the sound of his voice.

“I also know that now you’ll be mine. All mine.”

I feel the warmth of his fingers, then the cool gel drizzle between my ass cheeks.

“Tell me that you want it,” Bolt growls in my ear.

“I want all of you in every part of me.”

He slaps one cheek and then the other. My legs weaken, and he grips me tighter.

“Deep breath, baby girl.” His breath is hot in my ear.

First, the intense pressure, then a tingling up my spine. He waits, shifts, then he grips my hips as his hot hardness fills me up in a way I hadn’t imagined.

“Ohhh, fuck,” his guttural moan hits me deep.

He rocks me gently, and I bear down under the unbelievable sensation of pain mixed with an extreme, unexplainable pleasure.

“So fuckin’ good.” He strokes his hand up my spine.

I arch my back, and when his fingers find my clit again, my eyes slide shut, and my body moves on its own. Keeping rhythm until we’re moving in sync. Not thinking. Just reacting. Moving with and against each other.

Bolt slips one finger, then two into my center. The sensation is glorious and when he hits my G-spot, I convulse against him. My back arches, and I flood his hand with my juices.

“Ohhh, yes, yes,” I pant out.

He jerks his hips one more time and howls at the pink sky at dusk.

He eases out of me, then angles my lips to his in a passion-filled kiss. A kiss marking me in the best possible way. Making me his.

He brushes the hair away from my face. “You did so good.”

“Because I trust you. With sex. With life. With us.”

“And I trust you with my heart.” He cradles my head to his shoulder. “Something I never thought I’d say to anyone.”

We kiss again. Easy, soft, like two people sealing a bond.

I try to sit up. “You do realize the realtor is due here any minute, right?”

“I just took your ass out in the wild and all of a sudden you’re worried about somebody seeing us?

” Bolt rolls me under him. “That’s what makes this so hot.

” He waggles his eyebrows. “Anyway, who gives a fuck? We already decided we’re gonna buy this place, so this beach is in front of our house, which means we can do what we want. ”

I gaze out at the Pacific’s gentle waves, then up at the brilliant clear sky with the sun beaming down on what will soon be our beautiful beachfront home on the Baja Coast.

“Hey, anybody here?” Rosa, our real estate agent, calls out from the deck overlooking the beach.

I shift down lower to Bolt’s side and quickly pull my sundress over my head as he grabs up his jeans and shimmies them up his hips.

I wave up to her on the deck, a few yards away. “Just down here enjoying the sun.”

“Well, come on up, and tell me how much you love this house.”

Bolt scrambles to his feet, then pulls me up against his chest.

“Not nearly as much as I love the beautiful woman who’s going to share it with me.”
