Has it ever happened to you, that even with music, there’s silence in your heart?
Like nothing gets through. Not the lyrics, not the chords, not even the songs that used to wreck you in all the right ways.
Just static.
I don’t know.
Lately, it feels like I’m locked inside my own head, and every track sounds like it’s playing from the next room. It’s unreachable.
It’s not numb exactly.
More like . . . muted. Like someone turned the volume down on me and forgot where they put the dial.
Any top lists for that?
Songs for when music doesn’t work anymore?
Or just—any thoughts at all?
